Also with the allshare app you can view all your videos, pictures and music from you computer to you television via your local area network. "Came bundled with my new 50" 3D HDTV. Excellent addition to my system. Couldn't believe it was included in the bundle as the price was already great for just the TV. The BlueRay was easy to setup and easily interacts with my Samsung TV. Great features."

"I did not need a new dvd player but I just bought the 55" hdtv and there was a few movies coming out on blue ray that I would have liked to watch.

"First one wouldn't play a disc. Took it back and the 2nd one works perfect. Easy to hook up. i was lucky that my wireless modem was right behind my TV so i didn't require an adapter. beautiful picture and sound. Streams movies and Pandora flawlessly. Considering a tv plan for less money and paying for movies and shows as i need them using the aps that came loaded on the player. Absolutely recommend."

"One of our favorite things about our new Blue Ray player is that it greatly improves the picture quality of our regular DVDs. Once we saw how improved the picture was on DVDs, and we compared it to a few Blue Ray movies we bought, we don't see the need to purchase Blue Ray movies for such a premium unless we're interested in the extra features that happen to come with a particular movie."

"I bought this to replace a PS3 we were using for Netflix and Bluray movies when my son took it to college with him. I love the features this unit has for internet connections. It plays Bluray movies with brilliant clarity. My favorite feature is when I turn on the unit it switched my TV input to this device automatically on my Panasonic 55" plasma therefore I only need the one remote since it is programmed to the TV also for volume level adjustment."

"This is my first Blu-Ray player. As far as I can tell, its worked fine.
I do think it takes a bit longer to load than the old DVD Player and its a bit more noisy while loading than I would have expected. But maybe this is the way Blu-Ray Players are.
I have no complaints."

"This unit is a 3D blue ray player. It plays all the older disks we already have as well as the latest 3D movies. Can connect to the internet although I do it direct from the 3D TV. "This is our first Blu-ray, let alone 3D, player and we are extremely pleased. We bought it to go with our new Samsung 3D TV and the quality of the picture in all modes - DVD, Blu-ray DVD and Blu-ray 3D DVD is amazing. The styling is sleek and beautiful, and the features of this unit are great. We especially like the feature that you can turn on and control the TV from the player's remote, and when you turn on the player it automatically switches the source on the TV to the Blu-ray DVD player. We'd buy this one again for sure."

"I love the product. Great value for the money. Startup time and overall performance is great. I just wish that the Samsung Apps on the Blu-ray player were the same as those on the plasma TV (PN63C8000), especially access to Amazon Video-On-Demand. I'd like to use the player to access all internet content, but need to use the TV to access Amazon. This requires special configuration of the TV and home theater receiver since I need to send audio from the TV, "downstream" to the receiver. A pain since the TV is intended to be a monitor only. Not a show stopper, but a pain nonetheless.
Other than that, a great device."

"This player has operated flawlessly and this device is easy to update through a direct Ethernet connection. The device does provide a very good 3D viewing experience, but read time on Blu-ray discs could be quicker."

"Thank goodness! I'd have been really annoyed if it hadn't lived up to its reputation. I do a good bit of research before I buy a new product, and this one came with a solid reputation that it lived up to. I'm spoiled, though. I want a multi-disc player!"

"I have this Samsung wonderful working team consisting of one 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (BD-C5900) and one 55" 3D LED Full 1080P 240 HDTV (un55c8000). What a great picture, top running performance with all of my DVD's, blu-ray and 3D blu-ray discs. This Samsung 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (BD-C5900) has stunning features including the 2010 Internet@TV 3D function ability as well as 2010 Internet@TV picture/size function ability by using the remote of my 55" 3D LED Full 1080P 240 HDTV (un55c8000). SUPER, you can adjust the picture size and view full 3D picture where available or up-conversion 3D picture when not available.
I use my WI FI network when accessing the internet to update firmware for my 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (BD-C5900). I bought two Samsung Wi-Fi adapters, one for my 3D blu-ray player and one for my 3D HDTV. This allows internet access for both units without Wi-Fi adapter removal. Important, you need to purchase a 1 g (I use an 8g) flash drive to connect to the front USB port of this 3D blu-ray player for all blu-ray/3D blu-ray disc updates and including BD live is a must (note: there is no internal memory). For example, if you use BD Live and download HD trailers you need at lease 1g. I use 8g flash drive. It all depends on how much you download files. You can delete download files, anytime. One thing to remember is that the new technology blu-ray and the 3D blu-ray discs do have some playing issues and need new firmware to run properly. Notify Samsung support when new disc issues arise."

"I bought this unit with a Samsung 3D TV. Do get the Version 1.4 HDMI cable if you are going to use with 3D movies. I really like the AllShare feature where the tv and the blu-ray are automatically linked/ It does everything I need it to do."

"This unit is much better than all my other players. For the price, you can't beat it. Picture quality is awesome, both on blu ray and the internet capable movie channels. Have it hooked up wireless to the internet and it is nice to have radio channels designed around my taste. Couple movie channels is another nice bonus. I would recommend this product. It is definitely worth the price and with Samsung name on the unit, you know you are getting good quality. 2 Thumbs up!"

"Just purchased this Samsung model after having several problems with my previous Sony player (owned it 7 months and had to return it 4 times due to manufacturer problems). This Samsung unit is faster, smaller, and has more Internet Aps than the Sony had. Plus, the picture was much better than the Sony. I don't own a 3D TV yet and it could be a long time before owning one, but at least I have the option built into the player. Only downfall I have with this unit if you call it a downfall, watching Avatar, the picture is so clear and defined, the CGI almost looks fake. Good going Samsung. I'm telling all my friends to go out and buy this baby."
