"Even though this a higher model and has superior resolution and performance factor than lower models. It is restricted on what apps are allowed on it. Such as Crunchy-Roll, lower versions can and brand new smart tv's can play this app. So that is about the only thing I'm displeased with Samsung so far. Limited support for apps on their devices."

"I've had this product for over 2 years now. The only problem that I would say is the buffer when streaming video online. I have high-speed internet with strong wifi connection, but buffer on the machine still remains an issue after a few firmware updates. Overall, I'm very pleased with the HD picture quality of my 3D blu-ray, blu-ray, and dvd disks. I've yet to experience any of the other issues that some have given 1-2 star ratings. Maybe they had a faulty product, but all I can say is that the player that I have, it's been wonderful."

Cons: slow buffer for streaming videos online

"The BDC-6900 is overall and awsome product. The performance is great, it starts up fairly fast, has a great picture, nice touch controls, and more great features like streaming from Netflix, Vudu, Hulu, Pandora, FaceBook and more. The program for streaming from your personal computer is terrible though. I had to download Serviio to get a better menu and more functions. And the only other dislike is learning/controlling the menus for its main screen. "Brought this player to match up with my Samsung LCD in the bedroom, Woks flawlessly. The picture quality from dvd to blu-ray is amazingly different, Menu is pretty easy to navigate, only thing not good is internet connection lag, not the players fault. Excellent player, highly recommend."

I have used DVD, Blu-ray, and 3D Blu-ray on this unit and they all played flawlessly when hooked to either my surround sound or to my Samsung Plasma TV..
At first there were a few issues but with recent updates to the firmware it seems that all the bugs have been ironed out.
I have only used the weather and the Facebook apps. Which isn't as good as a computer but they could get you by if you didn't have access to a computer or wanted a LARGE screen."

"Fast load is best feature. Easy set-up, but had to set up network twice. I'm using a Wi-Fi network. Set it up in the intial set-up screen. The Internet@TV ran fine, and updated. The unit itself saw a need for a firmware update, but wouldn't load. Had to go into the "Settings" menu, and set up the network there again. Then everything ran fine."

"I love this player! I have another (sonee) Blu-ray player that takes forever to load movies, has a difficult remote, and freezes. This Samsung player is fast and consistent. I have it conected to a Samsung 3d TV and they work together seamlessly. The TV automatically switches to the correct channel when I put a DVD in the player."

I am sooo pleased, the difference is like going from rabbitt-ears to digital HD, from black&white to digitally enhanced color, from being hard of hearing to perfect hearing, and from fuzzy vision to 20/20....
There are so many applications pre-loaded I can't wait to try them out...I might actually start to watch more tv, instead of reading a book...lol

"Nothing against Sony, but Samsung has definitely caught up on the quality end of things and priced it more affordably. Programming can be alittle tedious, but the manual is easy to follow."

"this is a great blu-ray player. I have yet to watch a 3D movie on it but other movies look good. I like the USB in the front. I can put in a flash drive and read files from it and movies also."

"Have had this about a month now, and use it very often. We love it. Smooth operation, and lots of features. I just wish there were more apps available. For instance the Amazon app to watch movies from their website. Samsung seems to know nothing about it.

"I own two of them. Yes, this product is that good! I bought a Sony BDP-S770 (more expensive, by the way) but i had some many problems with it that I had to send it back right away and had it replaced with another Samsung BD-C6900. Not even the those technicians from sony could get the darn thing to work. The Sony BDP-S770 has problems with the wifi connectivity therefore streaming from Netflix is out of the question but with the Samsung BD-C6900 there are no problems whatsoever. Setting it up is easy and the 3D is awesome!"
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to setup
Cons: i can't think of anything!

"I love how thin this player is. I like the lighted and see-through DVD panel. Player works great with both 2D and 3D movies and Netflix downloads. I'd rather have the buttons on the front than on the top. My 5 year old can't see them because it is too high up."

"I have had virtually no issues with this unit. It's fast, connects to the internet flawlessly, and is easy to use and update.
Overall, I would recommend this unit to anyone. As a matter of fact, I already did. My mother bought the predecessor to this unit (BD-C6800) on my recommendation of this unit. She only bought the older unit because of the lower price; however, is almost identical in looks and functionality to the BD-C6900. She loves her Samsung BD player."
Pros: reliable network connectivity, user friendly, starts up and opens fast
Cons: difficult/unable to access a network drive, difficult/unable to access another media player, button location - easy to turn on accidentally
