"Have to say I never really owned and dishwasher in my life and this one is my first. We bought it to match with the other appliances we were putting in our home and have always considered Samsung to be a great product. I used it once so far on dishes that ranged from lightly soiled to heavy soiled with dried on particles and it cleaned them with ease using one Cascade Platinum pouch. I have to say I was impressed since growing up as a child I recall my parents saying they would never own one because it just couldn't clean like washing them by hand but in this case I was pleasantly surprised. I am sure this dishwasher will serve us well for years to come."

"We just bought this dishwasher this week and couldn't be happier. We just love the Samsung brand. At first we didn't think that it was working. It's only after it started draining that we believed that it was. It is that quiet! The one we had before was really noisy, we had to turn the TV up all the way while it was running. So far we have only used it once and I was completely satisfied. The dishes were very clean and dry. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher."

"Dishwasher is VERY quiet while cleaning dishes. Design of dishwasher allows you to fully utilize space, something our old dishwasher didn’t do. Dishes can be slightly wet if you do not apply jetdry or use the sanitize setting. Keep in mind this dishwasher does not contain a heat dry option. Overall, for the price, we got a great deal and I would recommend this to someone in the market who doesn’t want to pay a premium but get a decent deal."

"This dishwasher does a great job. I was concerned that there was not a heated dry option, but it seems to do okay without one as long as I use the sanitize setting. No prewash necessary. Would like to have had a delay wash timer though."

"The kitchen flows into the family room and my chair is next to the kitchen end cabinet. While watching TV, a Samsung, my wife said you can't hardly hear the dishwasher running. Until she said that I didn't know it was even running!! Without the counter top or kickplate on. Cleans very good and is a great value for the money."

"So far so good...just got it yesterday, however it didn't have an upper Rack or Kick plate in the box, but the customer service Rep at Samsung was great even though Lowes was not. "Surprise kitchen appliance while my wife out of town. She returned to absolutely love all of the Samsung appliances. Our old washer was only 6 years old, but it was noisy and not cleaning well. This one we couldn't even hear it running, and the dishes sparkled. We followed the directions and advice to put in the drying solution - no spots on our glasses like the old one. This is a great machine which we would recommend."

"If you have kids, this dishwasher is great because they have no buttons to press. And the dishwasher is easy to use. Have to remember to use the sanitise feature every 2 weeks so dishes wont have a weird smell to them. Love this product."

"We have had the machine for a few weeks and love it. I haven't heard a quieter dishwasher. Dishes come out very clean.
Only complaint is it takes a few tries to get the plates in the right place like any new dishwasher. Our oversized plates are a tight fit... but we probably should be using smaller ones anyway!"

"I've waited several months to submit a review after reading several horror stories regarding this dishwasher and so far, it has been great, proving the bad reviews to be either wrong or just an unfortunate anomaly.
This unit is very quiet, dishes come out shiny and very clean. I found the loading easy and the capacity is amazing to me, double what I used to have in the same space and no clearance issues inside either. Cycles are approximately 2 hours but due to how quiet it is, running this machine is not obtrusive at all.
I am very happy with this machine so far."

"We previously owned a high end dishwasher that broke after 8 years. Decided to look at Samsung dishwasher since we have a Samsung refrigerator. Glad we did. This dishwasher performs better. "I have owned a lot of dishwashers in my time, and this is by far the best. This dishwasher is so quiet you can hardly hear it running. I got the stainless steel model and it is just beautiful inside and out. I love the way the controls are hidden when the door is closed. You just set the controls and close the door. The dishwasher does the rest. Thanks Samsung, you out did your self this time."

"We bought this dishwasher to replace a 15 year old model that sounded like a jet engine. After researching online and looking at several different models, we decided to purchase the Samsung because of their great reputation in the electronics world. We also liked the fact that there is not an exposed heating element on the bottom of the dishwasher to melt our plastic items.
We've only had this for a couple of weeks and have no complaints. It's very very quiet, has so much room that we're going to have to purchase more silverware, and best of all it looks very clean and modern with the stainless finish.
The reviews I read said that this dishwasher was quiet but I can't believe how quiet it is. My one year old little girl can take a nap in the room right next to it while it's running. We are very pleased and would buy this item again in the future."

"I waited a whole month for this model to get into stock and get it installed/delivered. It was worth the wait.
We went through every cupboard and put it all through this machine. It works great, no residue, no crumbs at the end of the cycle.
It helps to keep up with the rinse aid and matching detergent. Do not go for the cheap stuff on this machine.
It has a food disposal, and nice hidden panel for a smooth look.
Love the little chimes it gives when activating the dishwasher. It also has a child lock, but not neccesary to use it at this stage.
The only con at this point (and not product related) is I do not have enough dishes to play with it for more than once, every few days to start a load."

Went to Store to look and compare, sold out had to order.(Must Be Good) Looked through tiny Catalog at store, pulled the trigger and bought it.
Installed my self, GENIUS leveling system
Unit weights twice as much as BOSCH unit. You can Tell SAMSUNG really put Quality infront of
everything. Door closes so easy 'click" a few tones and the Magic Begins.
Cleans and Dries Superior, no precleaning from the Dog required."

there is a significant design flaw with the roll out bottom rack -- the wheels & track are too small and it always seems to fall off into the bottom of the dishwasher, especially when it is full and the kids (ME!) don't push it in exactly in the middle.

"I'll be honest, it was not the dishwasher I went to the store to buy, I had a price limit and everything was over the limit. I was "talked into" this one by a sales person and found myself kicking my backside for the next 3 hours. Then I installed it, ran it, and have been very pleasantly pleased with the performance. Quiet is an understatement, I don't even hear it emptying into the garbage disposal. It cleans very well, it's quiet, heck we may go buy new glasses because they won't get wrecked like the old washer did!"

"Replaced a DW that had been dead for a year, and was happy to no longer wash dishes by hand. :)
I very much enjoy the performance and how well it cleans everything. I have only found 1 scrap of food on a fork so far...so the thing cleans well. I would recommend using the liquid jet dry rinse aid...it makes a big difference.
The motor is almost completely silent. Very well designed.
The downside for me is the lack of a top rack tray for small items, such as my kids' sippy cup lids and plugs. The other annoying issue is the inability to fold down any of the bottom rack tines for larger/irregular shaped items."

"This was our first dishwasher. We got it when we finally got around to remodeling our kitchen. We don't use it much as we don't have many dishes to do. However, when we have a gathering or are busy and have dishes back ed up, we use. It is easy to use. Our kichen is now open to our living area, and I must say, the dishwasher is quiet enough to be run any time.

"Once the bugs were worked out I really like this dishwasher. Most of the reviews I read were true. It doesn't dry the dishes real good and don't run out of Jet-Dry. It does seem to take a long time for it to go through the cycle, but since we run it overnight, that's not a big problem. It is SUPER quiet! Over all very happy with the dishwaher.
Now, what it took to get here. No big problems intalling the washer. I bought an elbow to make hooking up the water to the valve easier. Once I powered it up it wouldn't run. I had an error light about water leakiage. Looking in the manual and on line it said "Call service". Great, I never call service, but this time I had no choice. Service came out had to order a circuit board. Came back and installed - still no go. They kept checking things out and came up blank. Finally they figured they would have to replace the pump. Turned the washer over, took off the access panel and there was the pump laying on the bottom. The dogs that held it in place were broke. Either it was never checked out or was broken in transit (how I don't know). Great - our washer is working. After service left I started a cycle. Noticed the the buttons were real touchie to power on etc. Every cycle it was harder and harder to turn the washer on or change cycles. Called service again and they had to change out an another board and the pressure button strip. This took 2 trips, one to see what was needed and then to come back and instal. The word 'lemon' keep coming into my head. Since then I have had no problems, but what I started with was unacceptable.
We bought four appliances (all Samsung) and had to have service on two of them within six months - this is also unacceptable."

"This dishwasher was easy to install and is very simple to operate. It looks great alongside our other stainless steel appliances and the dishes always come out sparkling clean. I only have had a couple of issues with it so far: the bottom rack tines are a little close together and a few of our bowls don't fit in them the way they should which causes you to have to arrange them in such a way that it really takes away from your space. Also, my wife put a cutting board in the bottom rack that obstructed the detergent dispenser from opening all the way, so the dishes were not clean, but we figured it out and now we know not to obstruct the dispenser when loading our dishes. It's very quiet and works great and I would definitely recommend it."
Pros: quiet, sleek

"I have only had the dishwasher for a couple of weeks and so far we like it. It cleans the dishes well and is very quiet.
It is a pretty standard dishwasher, it is lacking what I would consider to be a couple of basic features ie, a rinse n hold option, movable tines or a delay start option.
Despite that the dishwasher does do the job and it does it quietly.
Will update again on its durability after we have it longer."

"The primary reason I'm writing this review is due to a recent problem started. We've had it 5 months when all of a sudden it would start for maybe 2-3 minutes then give a drain error. After a few attempts, it did eventually start but then would error out with a low water level error.
Originally I started with the service dept where I purchased it and their repair tech said it was a faulty water level sensor. When it took an absurdly long time for them fix it, I complained directly to Samsung only to find out that they weren't an authorized repair center. (Scary) When the authorized tech came out, he agreed that the water level sensor was causing the issue....but not because it was malfunctioning. He said it was caused by using TOO MUCH soap. Over time this caused a slight residue to get into the sensor float that made it a little "sticky" sending the wrong information on the water levels.
He poured water into the tub and drained it a coupletimes. Then, he selected a normal wash and after 3 of it's on/off cycles there was still soap in the water. At his recommendation, I've ran it a few more times sans soap, and it's completed each cycle and seems to be back to normal. His recommendation was to use 4 teaspoons of powdered detergent, and 2 teaspoons lemon shine into the detergent bin. And of course the rinsing aid/drying agent in it's bin.
Other than the initial part with the unauthorized service thing (should've known better than to go to a discount warehouse) I've been pretty happy with the service overall, and extremely happy with the service personnel that was sent."

"Overall the dishwasher performs well and the items come out clean. The one major positive is how quiet this machine is. That alone is worth the price. There are a couple of drawbacks to the dishwasher: 1) bottom rack can get jammed when pushing back in, and 2) the knives when placed in the holes of the utensil basket can hit the upper water arm. But neither of these are big drawbacks."
