"Our son got this WiFi camera for my wife for XMas and she just loves it to death. The menu and everything about it is so simple to use. Connecting to a WiFi is very easy. We can connect directly to our Samsung SmartTV and easily view the pictures that she has taken. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a WiFi camera"

"Was really needing a new camera to take holiday pictures this Christmas. Looked on the discount shelf, and bam! there is was. I was a little skeptical at first because of the price, but wasn't willing to skip out on such a great deal, especially since it was a Samsung :) It use to be a display camera, but everything works well, and it looks very nice. It's quite small, but the lightness makes it easy to carry around. Can't wait to buy a cute case to go with it! I love how it has WiFi so I can post pictures to facebook, plus it automatically backs up the pictures I take on my laptop. All in all, it's a cute camera that gets the job done."

"Bought this for my wife to travel in Europe. She can send photos directly from the camera. Lot of hotspots, free boingo connection for three monts, and you dont have to attach it to your computer. As a mater of fact you don't need to take your computer with you on vacation"

"Really nice camera. It works well with my dlna enabled equipment. I can view my pictures directly on several of tv's using the wifi feature. Pictures process quickly while paired up with a Samsung class 10 MicroSD card. Pictures are great quality and I can carry my camera in my pocket. It's nice to be able to email pictures directly from my camera. Touchscreen works great an is easy to use."

"Once you figure out the camera and set the icons up and put a little bit of time in, this thing isn't a bad little camera. I've taken some pretty good photos with this, and I got this for a great value.
The only downfall was I bought the red version. Which was loaded with a bugged firmware, which was to high of a version for this actual camera. So once I uploaded pictures to photobucket, I couldn't do it again. I could upload photos to facebook with no issues thought.
I had to find and older firmware and I reinstalled that and it fixed my camera. I love it [now].
Fun filters too."

"It takes excellent photos, with unbelievable specs for a digital camera of that price. Only cons are; the touch screen doesn't feel your touch sometimes (but I figured it's because it was loading since there were nearly 1,000 photos stored on the memory), and Having to retype your email Every time you wanted to send pics via wireless network. Other then those small problems, the digital camera is perfect."

"This camera is great. I recently changed from that camera manufacturer beginning with "C" to this much smaller, much more user friendly, Samsung SH100. I love the wi-fi capabilities and the auto back up feature is great, especially for that person that never takes the flash card out of the camera to upload the pictures to their computer, namely me.
The one negative is that it is almost too small for someone with larger hands, again me. I feel that I have to make a cognizant effort to ensure my finger isnt covering the flash or that once in a lifetime picture may be terrible.
The pros heavily outweigh the cons and I would certainly recommend this camera to anyone that is looking for a user friendly, feature rich, compact camera."

"This is the third digital camera that I have owned and this is by far the best, not to mention the least expensive. I have always been interested in photography but I had not seen a digital camera that could take as good of photos as a regular one could without breaking my wallet. "I picked up this camera yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is awesome and I love that I can email my photos directly to picasa if I'm in a wifi hot spot.

"For a point & click camera, it takes phenomenal photos with great detail. Very easy to use in every aspect with the exception of scrolling through photos as it can be quite touchy (I have large fingers) and will scroll thru photos when tilted whether or not you would like it to. Rating is definitely a 9/10 as it is fun, takes great photos & video, and the touch screen is very handy/responsive assuming your fingers are not as large as mine. Another durable and very well made Samsung product!"

"Loaded with features that will allow remote connectivity this camera is a great value. The photo quality is great and with a little reading the features are easy to use although some features may leave a little to be desired. The camera doesn’t seem to remember settings well for WiFi and email. Keep in mind this may be a security feature. The “Smart” photo and movie option make getting the right shots quickly a breeze and the “Program” mode allows for setting up custom shots. Overall a good camera to carry with you on a daily basis."

"The SH100 has an intuitive interface and easy connectivity to social media sites. I was expecting a simpler way to connect from camera to PC over wireless than a client server software on the PC. The software would not run on my XP computer and I had to uninstall it. Also, the cable to connect directly to USB is of a proprietary connector design. Make sure you buy a micro SD card for it, and you will be set."
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight

"Relative to its competitors for similar product, the price does not match the design. Noted unnecessary apps, such as choosing which app the photo will be shot using. Was pleased to see the option to change the pixel size of the picture to be taken. Did not come with SD card or much internal store (6.9MB). One of the lightest cameras I have owned. And I am really pleased with the wi-fi capability, take a picture and upload it directly to my social networks."

"Too many unnecessary features and some that are redundant, picture response slow (have to wait seconds for it to take the picture after you press the button), touch screen needs to be jammed, pushed hard, to react/scroll. Although it feels fragile, like the lightweight design. A decent camera but will most likely stick with the companies known for their cameras in the future. I wouldn't recommend to a friend based on my experience with it. Too many cameras out there you can get for the same price that are better quality."

"i have had many point and shoot. but the samsung beat them all.the ease of function ,sharpness colour quality is a whoo. the wide screen very good.colour very realistic ,the video quality very good also.user friendly"

"This Camera Is Awesome, I Think It Could Use Some Work On The Zoom And Motion. When I Take A Picture And Move Just A Tiny Bit The Whole Picture Is Blurry. But Over All It Is A Great Camera So Far!"

"Great little camera. Love the huge display on the back! The included stylus is a bonus. But the menus could use a re-think. Most are fairly intuitive but sending an email directly from the camera sends me back to the manual every time. I like that you can store email addresses but why not allow the camera to remember your network instead of having to re-enter the network key each time?
It's loaded with features that I didn't expect for the price. But, again, I have to refer back to the manual to figure out many of them. And the manual is huge 165 pages! To make it easier, I keep a copy handy on my computer.
It's battery life is impressive. It turns on quickly as well as gets ready for the next shot. The autofocus gets confused in less then ideal light but works very well under most conditions. It would be nice if it saved in RAW as well as jpeg but that would probably cost more and take up a lot more memory.
All in all, it's a good buy and until smart phone camera attain this level of resolution and features, this is a nice way to send a picture immediately ... when I can remember how to do it."

"The camera itself is good - not great, but good. It's build materials make it feel a bit on the "cheap" side of things.
However it is packed with some really terrific features - mainly the ability to send pictures to PC's, email, social media via built in WiFi capabilities. Others include tons of filters, "fun frames", special effects, red eye photo reduction, and photo editing (cropping, red eye reduction, color manipulation, etc.).
Touch screen is a bit funky - sometimes it doesn't react properly because of small icons and fat fingers lol.
It does come with a small stylus, and I have a good stylus I use with my Galaxy Tab 10.1 that works really well with the touch screen.
Overall - pretty good camera."
Pros: Lightweight, wifi, touch screen
Cons: a little slow to capture., plastic materials feel cheap.

"It is a very good camera. I love the photos and also videos. I recommend it. the only problem is that the sound of the video is a little low. But everything else is wonderful."

"I was a little set back, since the camera did not have a micro SD card included. Although I thought the 6.9 meg would get me by for awhile, this was not the case even with the lowest setting resolution.
I was unable to fully use all the applications, in particular "The Web" more specific Facebook. One of the techs suggested I try Photo Bucket which I did with success.
When I attempt to sign on Facebook with the SH100 it tells me the user id and password do not match, I have no problem sign on with my computers."

"Fun camera but it's hard to use the touch screen because it's jumpy and spastic. I read on the blogosphere that this was fixed with a firmware update but the posted firmware update does not load even after all manner of runaround with Samsung tier 2 support. Samsung has not bothered to release a functional firmware update even though this has been a known issue since October."

"This camera is light-weight and very small. It's easy to put it in my pocket. It has a lot of social networking features.
I Google WiFi camera, and it seems this is the only one avaiable. I visited a local electronics store, this was the only WiFi camera they carried.
I bought this camera mainly because of the WiFi feature. I wanted to give this as a present to my mom, thinkig the WiFi and email features would make her life easier. She would be able to send me pictures with just a few taps.However, the followings are below my expectation:
1. The WiFi works only with a few yards from my AP. My laptop and smart phone have no problem of WiFi access anywhere in my house, but I have to use this camera very close to the AP.
2. It takes a long time (10+ seconds) to establish WiFi connection for sending each email. The WiFi design is far below a regular WiFi enabled device.
3. I have read a few product reviews online saying that you can use the GUI like a smart phone. I didn't realize it meant old fashion smart phone with a stylus. Had the production introduction mentioned a pen is required, I wouldn't overexpect it. I don't know how I can carry the pen with the camera."

"The camera is solid. I only have two issues with it. Issue one is the wi-fi. Most free wi-fi hot spots require you to go to their webpage and log in. With the camera you can't do that as there is no prompt for it so like at a hotel on vacation, uploading via wi-fi is pointless and makes the feature mostly pointless. My second issue is the touch screen is non responsive or the cpu is slow, one or the other."

"1- The product comes with a CD, but the IntelliStudio is not on it. You have to install it by plugging the camera in. That's a little weird and unexpected.
2- There was a firmware update but the IntelliStudio had connection issues trying to download it. This is because the software tries to get to the Samsung site with a bad URL. I got around it, but most folks won't be so lucky.
3- I still haven't been able to hook up the WIFI. I tried two different routers with SSID broadcasted and not. It's a huge pain to type in the long password repeatedly over and over to try to get this to work. This is especially difficult because as you type in the password, it **** stars it out so it's difficult to verify when you are all done. This is very frustrating and annoying. I gave up trying to hook up the WIFI for now. The updated firmware did not help. WIFI was one of the selling points for this camera, but a few hours spent typing in passwords is discouraging."
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, wifi setup difficult

"On release, the software of the camera has a major bug. The login name and password for services will not work with any character except alpha and numbers. The login name will not accept my username on the photo services but only my email address. My domain name in my email address has a hyphen and causes the login to fail. A work around is to use html code for the hyphen character of "%2D" and that does it but it will not retain the login info so I must re-enter it every time. I tried the firmware update dated 4/12/11 and it made the keyboard unusable. I had to exchange it for another camera. I really want to love this camera for the connectivity features. Wishing for a good solid firmware solution."

"I bought this camera for my son to take to Lima, Peru on a swim trip.We had a just a few hours to decide before he had to fly off. It looked good and seemed to have decent features. He charged it up on the way to Lima, went to bed, and it was discharged by the next day. He had to keep it plugged in 80% of the time (not easy to do where he was). He missed hundreds of shots because of the poor battery life. If you leave the battery in the camera longer than 36 hours, it will discharge the battery. I have had it in the shop twice. 1st they replaced the Battery, 2nd the replaced the main board. I've never had a problem like this with any other camera. I bought it 400 miles away and couldn't' return it. Believe me, I would have returned it the day after I bought it, if I could have."
