"I really thought this would be ideal for a phone with a bottom plug (my previous phone plugged in at top, so I could prop it up on its bottom edge, no problem).
Well, I wasted my money & have gone thru 2 or 3 different phone cases trying to find one that I do not HAVE TO REMOVE CASE TO PLUG INTO CHARGER BASE!!!
Sorry SAMSUNG...you dropped the ball with this one. Figure out a way to lengthen the reach of the plug, or lower the base stand to allow for extra thickness of a phone case, then let us trade in this old worthless charging base/stand!"

"This was a great design and that it why I bought it. I should have done more research on the product, as it is essentially only a stand for power.
The speaker is just a pass-through and provides no amplification; not my biggest concern though.
The fact that it only charges, and does not pass data, and costs as much as it does is absurd. If the data and power were seperate ports, I can see it being an issue, but its the same port. Samsung probably saved next to nothing in the manufacturing cost of this product by leaving out that functionality. I'm sure there were some savings by leaving out the HDMI functionality, but that is ridiculous to leave out as well."

Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not pass data through usb, does not pass hdmi, too expensive
