This pocket-sized device turns your SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab™ into a USB host, allowing you to connect compatible USB accessory devices such as keyboards, mice, thumb drives and more to your Tab™. The adapter enhances the capabilities of your Tab, providing a solution for user-friendly removable data storage or the sharing of your favorite multimedia files with your Tab. Insert a USB mouse or keyboard to improve enterprise efficiency at the office or at home. Simply connect a USB memory stick or USB cable from compatible devices to the USB port on the adapter and then insert the adapter into your Tab.
Available separately is the SAMSUNG 30-Pin to USB Charging Data Cable, providing the ability to connect your SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab device to your compatible host PC, allowing your Tab to become an external modem while also charging and syncing your data. "Allows you to plug flash drives into the Galaxy Tab 10.1. With a usb-sd card reader you can also read and write to sd cards. I have even used it to connect a usb mouse to the tablet."

"Really good thing to have if you are a tab owner.
It does get a little bit dirty with fingerprints but it works super fast.
I just wish samsung made an extender to this adapter, that would be fabulous."

"When I went to buy my tablet I wasn't sure what the 30 pin USB connector was for, but I wanted to get all the accessories that they had. Boy was I glad I got the USB connector. It is useful in so many ways. It makes your tablet operate just as well as a laptop. I am glad I am one of those people that just have to have every accessory that comes with something."

"I love this adapter. It's great for file transfer. I just wish it was smaller. It sticks out of the bottom of the tablet and does make it difficult to hold when using. I would definetely recommend this product."

"For some reason Samsung didn't include internal microUSB abilities in the Tab 10.1 - prolly space confinements.
The adapter works well for what it does. it's juts a bit big, and you have to be careful when using it as it protrudes out of the device - making it an easy breaking point.
Not much else to say - it's a USB adapter. I purchased this about a month ago and use it almost 2-3 times a week for backing up my data."
Pros: compatible with many usb devices.
Cons: Too big
