"BBC is constantly updating the news stories in this app. Picture and sound are usually good quality. This must use a lot of bandwidth, because it can freeze up if you've got a lot of other devices running on your internet connection, or if your wiring is old and noisy. I got my phone company to upgrade the wiring where it comes into the house, and BBC ran a LOT better after that."
Pros: constantly updated stories, good quality reporting, interesting variety of stories, world-wide news stories

"If you don't get BBC channel through your cable/dish then it's a good way out to at least hear the recorded news. It would have been nice if there was a possibility to see streamed live news. You will certainly need a high-speed internet for watch this - Enjoy!"

"Okay. Whats up! It loads plays a commercial then never plays the selected news video (it just spins a red circle). Tried for a few weeks still broke. Its beta ware or worse as the only functionality is to load BBC logo and play one commercial. I would remove it as you can see from other reviews ... it doesn't work."

"this app does not work. won't play a single video. crashes after about 20 seconds every time. had hopes that there would actually be a useful app on my samsung tv... :("

"Does this app function? I downloaded this app a few days ago and it unfortunately has yet to work. Each time I start up the app, I receive the error message: "We are unable to play the selected video. Press Enter to watch the next report. Error code 30/1007" With a few clicks, the app crashes entirely. Is anyone else having this problem?"
