"the price is affordable and the tablet features are excellent i use my tablet all the time. The only problem i have had is it likes to freeze up but its an easy fix the other thing is that when i have it pluged into the charger the left side of the tablet gets really hot especially if i have it in the case that i bought for it but other than those two things its one of the best tablets out"

"At first I didnt think it was necessary to get a tablet since i already have a laptop and a pretty cool cell phone, so i wondered what more would I need. But my brother sells them and even though he had a demand for them he was keeping one back for some reason and I think he was holding it for me, finally God told me to buy it so i did and that has been one of my best decisions ever.
My galaxy tab fills so much empty space in my day, I carry it every where. I love music so i am constantly listening to music, whether i am doing chores, in the bath, going to sleep (I even have a rain app when i feel miserable and cant sleep lol). The app store also has a variety of game options, that i can play on the bus, in a waiting room, or i can read books with the Kindle app, I have the Bible saved on it as well so I can use it at church and make notes as well. And who could for those amazing speakers, these speakers have some brilliant projection, who needs a radio with that kind of quality.
I dont know if i could do without it now, plus i have a samsung laptop as well and Im striving for the phone next, so it would be nice to complete the trinity lol...so if anyone want a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy tab would be a great choice :)"

"I bought the tablet from school and I can say it is worth the money. I have cracked the screen and it still works like a charm. Excellent memory, great speakers, great selection of apps and amazing (somewhat) battery life. I live in the tech world and a tablet from samsung is definitely woth the investiment. I've had mine for almost five months and it still works, it's been updated and the only problem I had was it hung up (bricked - soft) when it was updated. However, Samsung helped fix it by resetting it and it works like a charm still."

"This is one of the best tablets I have used. Everything has worked as I expected. That has not been true with other devices. The lack of a USB and HDMI port is a small issue, but I can work around all that. Solid feel to the case. Screen solid, switches feel right and the system is responsive to me. Even with my big fingers, the virtual keyboard does a good job."

"the camera's are fine a suggestion to Samsung upgrade the cameras. My phone has an 8 megapixel camera on it, so I would expect the same on my Tab 2. Great products from Samsnug and my Tab 2 is no exception."

"I use this little tablet every day. Very handy to pick up and quickly check something on-line, or use as the remote for my TV & DVR, or stream video via WiFi. Great value for the money. It also makes a great addition to my Galaxy Note 10.1 and Laptop devices that I already have, in that I can share almost anything I need between them seamlessly."

"I bought this originally to use with my 46" 7100 series tv in my bedroom,but soon my son took it over.We love this tablet it has so many features and apps and is very simple to use.It has a great picture and the sound is not to bad for such a small product.Games are a blast to play and watching videos is fun and the internet is easy to use and better than a laptop in my opinion."

"I am totally happy with my new tablet. I purchased the wifi version and it is great! I find myself using this over my desktop system and I'm not missing my PC at all!
This tablet has it all and I'm glad I made the purchase. The only gripe I have is, you cannot install apps on the external SD card. 8gb internal storage, with the size of current apps, isn't nearly enough for storage these days. Despite that, I still recommend folks purchasing one, especially if you're on the fence about getting into the "tablet" world."

Cons: Not high def, apps cannot be installed on the external sd card

"This is my first tablet and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm able to do everything I had hoped I could do with it. The price is a super value. I love that I could just turn it on and it was very much like using my Samsung smartphone. Having the ability to personalize this tablet to my liking is a plus. I'm able to game on apps, watch movies, surf the web and work on documents anywhere and the battery life to do so really surprised me. No need for a stylus unless you just want one. I work just fine on this tablet without one. Samsung was a trusted name for me in my decision to get this tablet. Love it!"

"3 months of use and still learning new and cool things with this phone. Large clear viewing screen. Lots of storage. Emails and texting are simple. Tethering is great for kids on a road trip and movies play nice. speaker phone is loud and navigation works great. Navigating through options is quick and simple. Battery holds its charge well. Camera and video recorder work great and are of high quality. Sharing photos is easy. Allshare works real well with my TV and laptop. Only problem I have had is trying to hit numbers on the keypad while on a phone call. As you pull the phone away from your head the keypad lights up. Sometimes before I can key a number the screen goes dark. I'm sure there is an option to extend screen time that I have not found yet. No complaints great phone. I Have 4 different samsung phones in the house currently and they all work great. Samsung continues to impress and gets better with each generation of phones."

"So I was looking into tablets for my 3 kids and came across a lot of the "kid" tablets didn't have google play they only had they're own, and I wanted the kids to be able to get all the apps they loved playing on me and my husbands phone. So then I came across these. They are perfect size for them. Graphics are great looking. Sleek look. Has google play for all the apps they want. Front and back camera because they love taking pictures. Has an sd card slot so I can add more memory some of the kid tablets didn't have that. Plus I can add music and videos easily. They were priced fairly and I can find accessories easily. Plus I got decent priced coverage at Best Buy. Overall I love this tablet and I am glad we decided on getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 for our 3 kids. (: Great buy!!"

"I jumped from a no name tablet to an e-reader and then my son helped me choose my next birthday gift. I kind of settled for this one at first. THEN....it arrived and I have not turned back since then. I love the Galaxy Tab!! I recommend it to anyone and everyone who asks. My son's does have a better back camera w/flash and hdmi out put. BUT.....my battery life makes his look like a dead AAA battery. Oh, and mine upgraded to Jellybean whereas his is still 4.0 not 4.1. That made him grumble. Thanks Samsung!!!"

"The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is a great small tablet that provides excellent performance at a good value.
It was near-perfect out-of-the box, but unfortunately the update to Android 4.1.1 has diminished my enjoyment quite a bit. The update led to poor performance and periodic crashes. It also removed all of my desktop shortcuts and I don't like the changes to the interface.
I'm desperately hoping Samsung at least fixes the bugs soon."

"So fare i love this device, i have had a couple days to play on it and i am happy with my purchase. I love how fast it manages tasks and apps no lagg on game at all. Only dissapointment is it sometimes take a while for wifi to connect but other than that, it was an excellent purchase!"

"I bought the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for myself and ended up donating it to my niece for school. I must say, I enjoyed it for the two months that I owned it. I don't have any cons about the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 but for Business purposes I had an excuse to upgrade to the Galaxy Note. For my niece the Galaxy Tab 2 is perfect for connecting to Projectors for school projects, entertaining friends, and seamless intergration with our Samsung Smart 3D LED HDTV's."

"I was given this as a present. How did I choose it? I touched all the tablets at an electronics store; the amazing graphics and speed of the processor won me over. My wife has an ipad, and the Galaxy is much more superior, I feel. Plus, the stereo sound is awesome, as well as the ability to change types of sound while watching movies, etc.

"This is the fourth Android tablet that I've owned and it is my complete favorite. The only issue I have is that Adobe Flash is not compatible with this Android version, 4.1.1, which means that playing games on Facebook and watching network television shows that use Adobe Flash is unavailable. But, I can watch YouTube videos and recorded webinars with no problem. Over all, I highly recommend this tablet."

"I purchased mine last September and since then have enjoyed it a lot. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvements but they are trivial at best. I use mine primarily for checking my e-mail and reading e-books. Recently I logged on to Pandora and now enjoy music while reading
My tablet came with a keyboard that the tablet plugs into. My complaint is that the tablet is in portrait mode and it would be nice if Samsung could make available a male to female cord so I could turn the tablet on it's side to work in landscape mode. E-mail and internet browsing would be much better experiences. It just installed the latest version of Android and so far I am very pleased."

"Before purchasing this awesome tablet, I did a lot of research and watched many youtube demos comparing various tablets against the Samsung Galaxy Tab2. In the two weeks that I have been using the GT2 I can say that I'm really impressed. The start up and swipe time is not slow or lagging. The table performs very well. What impressed me the most is the expandability of the GT2. I love the microsd slot. The experience with GT2 led me to purchase the Galaxy Note2. I would highly recommend this product."

"I have always been a "FanBoy" of Samsung product, and why not be. They all around just make a solid product. This was my first tablet purchase, but I have "played" around with plenty. Due to the fact that my experience, I am planning on purchasing a Tab 10 for home and another Tab 7 so that I can take it to work with me to be more productive there....yessss Tablets just aren't useful entertainment tools, you can actually accomplish quite a few tasks with it as well :) But I do like that I can still take a break and have fun all at the same time"

"The only real con that I can mention is the power button is too close to the corner so that my zippered cover elastic holder hits it. This causes frequent rebooting of the Tab. I had to modify the holder by sewing it out of the way, but this means that the holder has less to hold."

"This is a good product from Samsung. They are good at making stuff. First, I would like to say that this is an awesome product. The only real concern I have with this is that it comes with preloaded stuff to make the tablet work and all that but it takes up half of the hard drive. I've basically had this for 6 months haven't filled the memory yet. This tablet has a kinda good kinda bad camera. It is only 3MPs so I guess it's fine. This tablet also has a REALLY hard screen. It has been through a lot and it is still working properly with no cracks. This is ALOT better then the kindle fire HD or what ever. Just sayin'. This tablet is also about as fast as the iPhone 5 sense I've seen someone download an app on it and on mine. Basically the same speed(I didn't time it). This also good for reading. This tablet is basically the best thing that hit the market because of its size and features, it is the best Android 4.0 7 inch screen that is this price. Over all, great product Samsung! I really like it!"
