"The feature I like most is the lightweight portability of this camcorder. Its easy to throw it in a bag & take anywhere. It is super easy to use and the video quality is outstanding. The only area I would tweak is the battery life or maybe its just me having too much fun with this camcorder. All in all a super deal!"

"i purchased this camera to record family matters and youtube videos nothing fancy. but it has been great use and good performance and video quality for its size. you can also add effects to video while you record and lets you choose between 3 different recording qualities regular , hd, and full hd, video i recommend getting the higher end memory card.

"This is an awesome deal. I was a little hesitant about purchasing this due to having a great camcorder feature on my smartphone. I found that this gives me more flexibility and doesn't use my much needed cellphone memory. I used to be a down and out Sony fan, but now have given up on them due to my total satisfaction with Samsung. This was very affordable and easy to use. I learned most features without even picking up the users manual. The only feature that I would have preferred to have would be on board memory. Due to the price, I can't complain too much."

"Contrary to what a previous reviewer said, it DOES shoot in FULL HD, 1920x1080 at 60i. It can be dialed down to Enhanced HD (1280x720) which is the same aspect ratio as Full HD (and nearly undistinguishable in most cases). It can also be dialed down to record in Standard Definition, if you're looking to save space. It's output compression rate is MP4.
The switch grip works seamlessly. You just rotate the camera over. Screen is very responsive. Power own is automatic when you open the viewfinder and it powers down automatically when you shut it. Response time is fast: you can start recording almost instantly when you open the viewfinder.
There are plenty of options to customize. You're not buying this camera to shoot professional videos are you? I didn't think so. It has more than enough for what a casual to moderately experienced user needs.
It holds up to one 32gb SDHC memory card, with NO internal memory. That may be a holdup for users who like tons of storage and leave footage on their cameras forever. However, if you, like me, actually take your movies off your camera and do something with them in relatively quick fashion, it's plenty of room (especially set to Enhanced HD instead of Full).
Not using the bundled editing software, but the files work perfectly in iMovie. If you're a PC user it should work fine with any editing software that works with HD footage. ***Figure this part out for your personal usage before you order, or you ay be frustrated.
The only negative to the camera is the still shot camera. It's pretty much useless. The shutter speed takes a lifetime and there is not an option to shoot while filming. Trust me, you will not be taking pictures with it, but that's what digital cameras are, right? So don't let the 4.9 megapixel still shots it can deliver sway you to purchase.
Overall, this camera is a great value, shoots good video with great color. Works pretty well in lower light and has a great sensor for it's price class. It's also incredibly small and lightweight, and a pretty sexy little piece of equipment (if that sort of thing matters to you). I don't think you can possibly go wrong with the Q-10! Enjoy!"

"Design doesn't matter to me, color is perfect. Durability wise, just don't drop or anything, as long as you don't overuse it, it will last long. Feature is great, what I like about the most is I can rotate and take film or picture in any angle. Maybe the last camcorder I bought was 2006 which is too old in electronic world. But Right now I think I will end up with this one for awhile unless screen goes nuts or some parts break away. Happy!"

"Grabbed this little camcorder before my own wedding 2 days beforehand after a recommendation from a pretty knowledgeable salesman who has used the camera for shooting some scenes while paintballing. The optical image stablizer limited the shakiness of the picture and the full HD quality was excellent. The files played nicely with all the programs on my computer without needing to use professional grade editing software. The only downside was we needed to charge the battery after a few hours, as I was not able to find a back up battery readily accessible in any of the area stores."

"I bought this camcorder to take along on a road trip to Northern California (with a side trip to Las Vegas). It certainly delivered beautiful, crisp footage of the Redwood Forest, Highway 1's astounding coastal views and various San Francisco sights. Where its performance fell off a little was in taking video inside a nightclub. Overall, it would be a great product for everyday recording, especially outdoors. Good sound, smooth zoom, great detail. I'm still learning to work with the editing software which seems a bit complex. Overall a good buy."

"I just purchased this camera and have only tried the basic functions (photos/short videos) but i must say This has to be the EASIEST Camera to use out there!!! I love how easy it is to shoot Great video! Just open the screen and its Ready to hit record within a second. When done just close the screen and ... well that's it. It will take longer to read this review then to master this camera."

"I purchased the camera at Sam's Club and found it to be a great Full HD video camcorder. The zoom could be a bit bigger but the images up close are wounderful. I videoed my pants by mistake and found that the camera has a rrealy good zoom. You can see the fabric on my jeans up close from the video. I transfered my videos to my "DVR and it was very easy to do. just about idoit proof. I would recommend this procduct to all of my friends.

"I bought this camcorder for our wedding/honeymoon in Kauai. We not only had a lot of fun there, but we have footage to prove it! The device is small and fits anywhere in your side pant pocket, backpack or carrying case (even tags along in the camera case with the Olympus DSLR that I haul around).
Video quality is great for normal, home use. I wouldn't recommend this for any professional though. The static pictures are very blurry anywhere past 120% zoom and you cannot focus the optics on one particular spot - so it focuses on the wrong subject half the time...
All that being said - I didn't buy it for pictures...it was an emergency :))

"I really like to this camera. I used it today on a photo walk in San Francisco. The camera functioned really well both still and video. For the price it's great. I like that it fits very easy into the palm of your hand."
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, cool design
Cons: the touch screen shows finger prints
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Fairly good camcorder. However, very difficult to use in bright sunlight as monitor screen is washed out. Also be careful with SDHC memory cards. Camera gives a warning the memory card is too slow for HD recording. Zoom shots also have too many jaggies on the screen. Resolution is not Full HD"
