"This camcorder is small and light weight enough to fit in a purse or pocket, making it so convenient to have when you really want to save a memory. The options far out-weigh the competitors with all the options. I purchased and returned another company's mini-cam when I found that I could not re-charge the battery without a computer. After doing more research, I found the Samsung model has all the options to make this the best choice. I also bought this same model for my daughter who used it on her first cruise and was thrilled to be able to take both videos and photos with one unit. I would highly recommend this product!"
"I love my new camcorder. It is compact, You can put it in a pocket of a shirt or paints and take it every where you go. So if you need to take a picture or a video it is right at you'r finger tips. The quailty of the videos and pictures are of high quailty. I give it top level stars. I would recommed it as a gift or a personal purchase. It can travel everywhere you go. It's like a cell phone, Also the quailty of soung is execellent. You have an option to put a high quailty memory chip in it as well. Thank You SAMSUNG."

"My expectations for a handheld video camera like this weren't too terribly high - the design is based around simplicity and portability. However, I was really disappointed by the clumsy way one particular feature, one which initially excited me, is implemented: time lapse video. While the camera will allow you to set up for time lapses of several hours, the battery is only rated for about 90 minutes. The manual specifically suggests using the AC adapter for longer time lapses. While recording, the LCD display remains lit, and no power saving provisions seem to be made. This limits the use of the time lapse to where you've got a power outlet or shorter videos. Things like day-long nature shots (the garden), and other outdoor long time lapses are pretty much out of the question."
