"very sleek and attractive looking unit. sounds great and actually feels like you are in the theater when watching movies either on tv or on dvd depending on which mode you are in. have had several home theater systems and this one by far is the best to date. the column speakers in the front fit very nicely behind our wide screen tv. would highly recommend this unit to anyone. great value for the price."

"I've had the unit for just about over a year and like it very much. The sound quality is excellent and I'll never go back to using speakers on the tv ever again.
My only complaint is that the dvd player itself is starting to make a lot of noise when I first put a disc in. This does not happen all the time but is quite annoying when it does. It will smooth out and quiet down after a short while but it sounds like the drive itself is dying. I've also had it not play some dvds very well. The dvds in question originally played fine but now are not working and lock up at certain points."

"Just installed the system to a Samsung plasma. Had to talk to their Tier 2 support to figure out how to play back my TV signal. The HDMIs were set up correctly. The documentation has lots of info on how to play back DVDs, CDs and Ipods, but one line on how to playback TV signal (and that was less than helpful). But other than that, the playback to my Samsung plasma, for both DVDs and TV, looks good.."

"On 12/1/2009 I purchased a Samsung (HT-TZ522T) home theater system, upon arrival of this system and installation thereof, it didn't work out the box. It played one movie for about 5 min then froze and nothing after that."
