Expensive Wall Art

"Bought Feb of '09. Great picture and performance until the video stopped suddenly week before last...still have sound. Samsung providing in home service under warranty however the service company had to order the panel and I'm still waiting for them to do the repair...in the meantime I've got a piece of Samsung wall art with sound. Sure hope the new 52" in the living room does better after 11 months of use!!!"

"Bought tv and in less the 18 months have had to repair 2 times. Thought was a good tv til just would not turn on for the second repair. Would not recommend."

"This is a very good 1080p TV, it has excellent resolution with a very fast refresh rate so it has minimal image blur. Which was a problem on my old LCD TV. The only downside is that all the inputs are clustered together and make organizing the wiring near impossible other than that it is a great LCD TV."

Sound Issues

"This TV has very good picture quality, however the sound on HD channels through the TV tuner has intermittent distortion problems. I have had the TV repaired 3 times and still have the problem. I would not recommend this TV. Googling this issue brings up many users with the same problem."

"For those who don't want to bust their budget and still get quality, this is the t.v. for you. Samsung says on their website that "this product is no longer available" My advice is, if you see this t.v. still being sold. Don't hesitate. Buy it!"

"I purchased this TV solely because it was under $600 and it had 3 HDMI inputs. Even though it was advertised as a 720p , it accepted a 1080p output from my PS3. Can you say SATISFIED !!! For what i paid and the the fact that it accepted 1080p resolution from the PS3, it's a MUST GRAB FOR THOSE WHO ARE WORKING WITH A STRICT AND STINGY BUDGET. Do yourself a favor and buy Samsung."

"My wife and I just purchased this TV. It's the first TV we've purchased in the 7 years we've been married. We were using an old 19" Sanyo CRT, and WOW what a difference. I used to work in electronics retail several years ago, and had learned of how good a brand Samsung is, and they lived up to it with this TV. Very simple to set up, and modify settings if you want. You can also have individual settings for the various input channels. My family and I have been playing movies and our Wii on it all day. It added a whole other dimension to everything. Fantastic product."

"Bought this as a gift for my son for xmas. Great TV. Everytime I walk in a store I can pick out the Samsung TV before I even get close enough to read the name. Their pictures are #1.

"when i bought this tv i was really looking forward to see how it performed when i hooked my playstation 3 system to it when i did i was suprised that it accepted 1080p signals and this made my ps3 games and blu ray movies look awesome. Good Price and Great Features

"I purchased this back when it was $300 more, and still think it was worth the money. I had a problem with the unit humming when I first received it, and customer support sent out a repairman within the week, and I live in the middle of nowhere. Works great for video games, and has a great contrast ration.
Based on how much I like this T.V., I will be purchasing a newer, larger t.v. for the living room, and moving this unit to the bedroom.

"First LCD TV purchase. Mine is an LN32A450 (don't know what the C1D is). Plenty of inputs. Good features to tailor setttings to your needs. Settings are specific to input, giving flexibility with different input devices.
Good picture on HD / DVD sources. Decent picture on Analog sources (I find those sources clearer by using auto aspect setting - shows 4:3 sources as 4:3 instead of stretch). HD tuner decodes 3 HD channels from cable even though my service isn't HD. Sound is adequate with bass/treble settings. Appearance is aesthetically pleasing.
Have been very satisfied with purchase. Will consider Samsung LCD TV's as first choice for next TV purchase."
