"I really love the television as a whole. The only drawback is, I was so excited about going HD only to find out that one of the main components I use daily (on- timer) does not work
in conjuction with the HDMI cord. The televison comes on when expected, but I have to change the source in order to get a picture.

Other than that, I still Love it!!!!"

"I bought this TV as a bedroom/guest room TV. I have been very pleased with both the display and the sound so far. Although it is a 32", it is large enough for a bedroom and sounds great through it's speakers and a BOSE Wave radio as supplement. The price was great and I have never had a problem with Samsung elecronic's quality. It's only 720p, but you don't need to put a high dollar unit in a guest room, and I haven't really noticed the difference anyway!"

"the included stand is a little flimsy, but the picture is great. I've had one problem with the picture that the troubleshooting guide gave no hint about. A full reset fixed the problem, but I had to contact Samsung to find this out. I was also told that this problem was "normal," but I've never owned a TV set that lost a normal picture on its own and needed a reset to restore the picture. I am, however, glad that it did."

"I just bought this TV yesterday. It is my first HDTV and replaces a 20" Samsung CRT. After weeks of research and window shopping, I decided on this model based on previous experience with Samsung products and seeing it in the store. I almost got the 350, but for a little bit more, the 450 is much nicer. I don't have HD service yet, but will in a few days. As of now, the regular cable looks okay and I can watch TV just fine. I have a Playstation 3 connected with an HDMI cable and the picture is awesome! For a bedroom, this TV is perfect. I was mildly concerned about sound from previous reviews, however I soon found this to not be an issue at all. Having it turned up to 20 out of 100 is plenty loud enough. I know that once I get the HD service from my provider, I will be completely satisfied!"

"I bought the LN46B630 46 Samsung in January and we have been very happy with it. So we just replaced an older TV wiith this 32 inch. I don't have the HD connection for this new TV yet, but the picture is still excellent. When I do get HD, it will probably blow my socks off. Both were easy to set up (but I did get a little help from Dish network, thank goodness.) I was able to purchase this online from a reputable camera & electronics store for just over $400, which certainly helped with the decision. So, overall, I've become a strong Samsung fan. Note: when I added a Samsung DVD player to the larger TV it was a piece of cake."

I am very thankful I bought this model. I alson have a Samsung wireless speare DVD set up and an additional Samsung DVD. I am thinking about getting a Blue Ray Samsung. I sure hope it is as easy to set up by myself, so I do not have to hire someone to come and do it.

"The Screen was great for use as a computer moniter, computer games and X-Box 360 and regular TV. Use with the Xbox was so good that I purchased a second screen for duel online gaming. "I bought this 2010 LCD TV based on the 2009 model (LN32b460) reviews and based on those reviews I recommended my son to purchase the LN32B460 last summer. This new model adds more dynamic contrast (60K vs.50K) and adds Connect Share (for USB drive or HDD) and Anynet+ which allows one touch control of samsung compatible audio and video devices. The on screen menu is also improved as well. Many complain about sound quality but I feel it's fine. Besides a good HDTV needs a surround sound system to complete the experience. The picture is stunning in any HD content and looks great in non-HD as well. I spent about 1/2 hour to fine tune the picture ( this is my 3rd HDTV in the house) and now it is picture perfect. Buy one ... you will not be disappointed!!! This is the best 32" LCD HDTV in it's class (IMHO) ... BTW ...my son is thrilled with the LN32B460."

"Excellent HD picture quality with numerous features and settings available. Sound quality is pretty good for a flat screen TV. PIP is the only cumbersome feature as it won't allow swap with the various video inputs, but rather keys on the coax input as the only inset picture. Sound can only be swapped by going through the menu.?"

"This tv is pretty good. Its has a sleek and modern look. There are no push button on the set. you navigate the tv controls with a panel on the bottom right corner. it reminded me of controls you find for volume on sleek laptops. The tv is also very light. i say it weighs maybe 15 pounds. you could easily install this set by yourself.

This tv could've been better if it had a higher refresh rate and resolution. On some fast motion pictures or scenes, the image got a little jagged. But then again, if you wanted high performance, you should've bought a more high end set.

I was surprised to see a usb port on this tv. I was used to seeing card slots. unfortunately, the manual doesn't quite explain what can be accomplished using this port. It would've been nice have that kind of explanation.

tv makes a good bedroom unit. tv would've been way better if it had a wi-fi connection with web apps. that would've made this way cooler."

"I originally purchased a 32 inch LG LCD tv and the television was making a weird noise every 10 minutes or so after the set was turned off. This noise continued for hours so after 2 days I took the set back and purchased the Samsung Series 450. The sound rocks and the picture is crisp. The biggest flaw is in the design of the tv especially the flimsy stand and lack of tv holder(bought seperately) . If a little more care would be put into the stand and the quality assurance of assembly this product would be 5 stars no doubt,however at this time I have to give it about 4 stars and hope that it lasts for a while."

"This TV gave me wot i Wanted & needed.. The most interesting thing is that it reads(plays) almost every MOVIE formats(MKV,FLV,MP4,DIVX,etc..) Although its an HD-READY TV, The picture quality is excellent when i plug my PS3 even on the AV connection..its got my PC,PS3,External hard disk workin simply great..

"Great picture and sound with simple setup. The best part of the TV is the ability to switch from watching TV to my Gaming console or movies that are stored on my external hard drive. Basically it does it all without skipping a beat. The only downside I see is the 720P resolution which isn't that big of a deal, it actually is 1080i with my game hooked up to HDMI. I also have the 55'' LED 8000 series so maybe i'm just spoiled with the clarity of it......Good TV compared to others of similar price."

"I purchased this TV in July 2010 after reading many reviews. Some good some bad.
I would like to follow up with my own opinion.
I feel as though being a novice in regards to pixels, High-Def, Resolution, or Color Saturation; This TV offers high quailty HD picture.
Offering 3 HDMI's is a extreme postive along with the USB slot for use with my IPOD and MedaiShare to play music through my TV.
The inclusion of a VGA port (possibly becoming standard on all future TV's) I have my Computer tower connected and it doubles as a compuer monitor right in my living room. When combine with a Wirless Keyboard/Mouse it's just an additional functionality of this TV.
Hopefully this offers help in making up someone mind. I am extremely happy with my purchase and once I have enough money I'll be upgarding to a Bigger Screen Samsung (55") and putting this one in my bedroom."

"Nice picture however, since internal speakers on TV's are marginal at best especially for music, my plan was to attach external (self powered) speakers directly to the TV. Although they can be attached (and work), the volume and mute function cannot be controlled through the TV either via the front panel or the remote (verified through Samsung). Not very convenient. Actually, it's not going to work. I'll be looking for something that works."

Cons: Did not meet expectations, lack of volume control for external speakers

"More upgrades to for file formats needed. Would have been nice to have a cat5 slot for internet access. Picture quality is great. But the lack of codec upgrades hurts this tv"

Cons: no codec upgrade support for some .flv .img avi, no internet connection

"this is my sixth samsung tv since 2007 and it was great at first but a couple of months after the warranty ran out it died , this would not normaly bother me anyone can have a lemon every now and then but out of the 6 sets i own 3 have failed shortly after the warranty was up . this is not right . you shouldnt have to buy a warranty to get more than 2 years out of a tv . i bought samsung products because they were the best looking and most advaced but i no longer am able to support the 2 year buy and throw away concept . i know thay get a lot of people complaining about the little issues (slight picture inpurfections etc) i just want a tv with a decent picture and that will last more than 2 years . my first set was a non samsung product bought in 07 and is still working today with no issues , its no where as nice picture wise nor does it have any cool features but it works and in the long run that is what i am looking for in a tv."

"I have a Samsung 40 inch that is great. Which is why I bought this for secondary room. Mistake. Selling sub par TV's just by the name. The picture is the most spuratic I have ever seen. One seen is great the next is horrible, same channel, movie, game, etc. It doesn't seem to handle darks very well."
