Great product w/ one exception

"This is a fantastic LCD TV for the bedroom. I was looking for best picture quality--got it here--, and a decent sound-- didn't get it here. Speakers are small, located down and back and poor audio characteristics. The built-in sound variables settings are limited. Am forced to add an external home theater system to get satisfaction here. Was fairly straight forward set-up. Learning all the variables seemed more involved. Using it for about a month now and still swayed by the picture quality. Just have to add another $500 for sound. Tried the external audio out jacks--loose stereo, seems more 'hi fidelity'."

"I got this TV for a room with a good bit of light and it works great in this room. I also have a samsung 50" plasma that I purchased at the same time and the picture is right up there with the plasma TV. Only wish the sound was a little better."

Better than Expected

"Simply blown away. This was my first HDTV and now I don't want to leave home. Easy to set up, clear instructions, but had to speak w/ cable co. to tweak the settings on their box. Picture is amazing and sound is more than adequate for what it has to do. If I need better or true surround its going to go through a separate system anyhow. Use it mainly for broadcast and movies on demand from cable co. No gaming. Even though 1080p is overkill now, its nice to have.
Also made a very good deal on the price.
Love it and don't want to leave home to go to work."
