"I have always had excellent experience with Samsung products, especially the flat-screen TV's. This set was purchased quite some time ago for a recently (at the time) remodeled room, and we still marvel at the picture quality. Many times it almost appears to be 3-D, and I have never dug into the detail picture settings as I've read about recently as I researched purchasing a new, larger TV. We couldn't be happier with this set. A great value."

"I have owned this Samsung LN40C630 model for about 3 years now and felt the need to write an honest review about it.
This TV is still simply amazing! Even though I bought this 3 years ago and it has still performed above the current TVs models I see at the stores today! I'm simply amazed at the quality my TV outputs compared to other TVs my friends own. It's not until you start watching other peoples TVs that you can finally tell how superior in quality this model is to theirs.

Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and past Samsung purchases. I researched for about a month until I finally decided that this TV was the perfect fit for me and my budget at the moment. "This TV has exceeded all my expectations so far. I had been trying to find an affordable LED, LCD or Plasma HDTV for a while now. I searched and searched and read hundreds of reviews before finally deciding on this TV. The people who left negative reviews about this TV obviously didn't bother to take the time to read the owners manual. You can turn off the power on/off jingle and the color is very easy to set to your liking. I have found NO problems with the sound quality. I live in an apartment and do not need a massive sound system, the speakers in the TV work great and are plenty loud. The multiple HDMI and USB ports are a nice feature. I have an Xbox 360 and external hard drive hooked up and both run flawlessly. At first, there was a bit of lag while online gaming, but it was easily corrected with a few adjustments which you will find if you take the time to read the manual. I have had no problems with this TV and I would stand behind it and recommend it to someone looking to get the most bang for their buck."

"Excellent TV. I've owned this TV fo a lillte over a year and no problems at all. From standard television to blu ray you will not be unsatisfied. The TV does not support Apps or internet but you can buy a blu ray player with streaming capabilities like I did. I love the picture so much I purchased same series 46in for living room. If you are looking for a TV that can produce great picture quality even with new comparable LEDs and Plasmas you will not regret purchasing TVs in this series"

"Having come from a tube t.v., this product was far more than what was expected. Purchased it at Best Buy a year ago and it still runs like the first day I got it. I use it to play video games, watch Blu-Rays, and sometimes even standard television. If your looking for an investment on a t.v., this is the one to get. Just read your manual and everything will be O.K.."

"This is my first flat panel television, replacig a giant tube Samsung HD unt I've had for a good 10 years. The old one works fine, but I wanted to upgrade to HDMI and other modern features. This unit, although being on the lower end of the spectrum, has more than enough ports available. I have it connected to my Sammy sound system with a Roku, Cox cable box, and my PC connected, so I have no need for the newer web connected models. The picture is great and if you feel it necessary, you can fine tune nearly every aspect to your hearts content. The unit is light without feeling cheap and the styling is simple and elegent."

I added some computer speakers to the audio out to add some base for now. Very happy over all with the quality of the sets and the value..."

"I looked and looked thru reviews before I picked this TV last Christmas. Great sound and picture. DVD looks the same as Blue Ray. GREAT! Easy from the box. I bought it Christmas last year. I was going to get the 42 inch. Yet when I looked at the reviews this was my choice. I am NOT disappointed and I am a VERY happy customer. Samsung..... I keep coming back!"

"Samsung has the best overall picture than all other TV's. As soon as you walk into the TV department of any store, stand back and pick out the best picture. I can almost gaurantee the best one will be a Samsung."

"I love it, design is awesome with all my furniture. I will always shop samsung only. I own Samsung LED unb40 as well, sound and features on my lcd are actually more extensive. Picture qualitydifference is not noticable to me. happy shopper."

"When I recently lost my 25 year old TV, I began my search for a replacement. I looked at all the major brands, but was not inpressed with the picture quality of most of them. The Samsung "jumped" off the shelf at me. I couldn't believe how much clearer the picture was on the Samsung vs. other TVs in the same class. I will not hesitate in the future to buy a Samsung when I finish my media room."

"This TV was a replacement for my parents 1980's console TV. After years of living with a blurry picture with a strange tint, the "kids" bought the parents this Samsung, LN40C630. It was night and day for them. They have tremendously enjoyed the upgrade and constantly sing its praises."

"I looked at many TV's, different brands, sizes etc... and when I saw this Samsung I was sold. I am very pleased with this TV though the sound quality is poor. I did purchase at a different time a Samsung Surround Wireless Sound Bar and all I can say is WOW! Now I have the complete system....Would recommend to anyone looking for a TV that is priced well and has an excellent picture."

"This tv is awesome! the tv fits perfectly in the living room, the clear/glass around the tv is just classy. The picture quality is seriously the best you can get in an lcd. watchingcable in hd is great and havent had any problems, you do need an hdmi cable to get the best experience out of this tv. Videogames look great too but you need to disable the automotion for some games as it can get very dizzying the game mode option works pretty good. when it comes to tvs im always going to be buying samsung. honestly at the store displays these tvs always look better than the rest. oh yeah, I dont see why people complain about no apps on this model, it doesnt say it has apps and samsung makes this tv with apps its just a different model. i connect my laptop to it(with an hdmi) and get everything i need in awesome quality"

"This TV, which is also my computer monitor takes SD content and makes it look HD. We watched Sherlock Holmes off of a regular DVD and saw in great detail the blood and sweat on the faces of the actors. This is an excellent TV at a great price.
As a monitor, I found that playing MW2 and WoW both offered me amazingly fast screen refresh with no noticable blurring even in the fastest most active action sequences."

"Great HD Picture! The Best out there...has all the bells and whistles. Easy to set up, Easy to use remote. top of the line Samsung.
I am now going to hook up to internet via wifi. Everyone that sees has to comment on the picture. Works great thru old or new fomats. No Glare even in direct sunlihght. Built in Speaker work great! I have it hooked up thru my Kenwood theatre sound system."

"I found this TV at walmart for a great deal couldn't walk away from it. Didn't even see the TV on at the store, took it home and plugged it up and put on a Blu-ray. And all i can say is this TV picture, sound and features are outstanding the 120 Hz is so smooth and for no surround sound the sound is perfect."
