"This LCD tv is great for budget minded shoppers. Its great for its price. It has the basics connections and picture quality. I have no complaints, except maybe an hdmi switcher or av receiver is needed with this tv as it has few connections. It has a great design for tvs with similar design. It swivels. It has accruate color and a matte screen for no glare."

"I carefully went over all of the LCD sets out there.....The LN46A500 gave me a great 46" set forn the price of a 40" The contrast is fantastic, much better than the Sony 1080p I purchased last year for 21/2 times the price.This is a great buy!"

"Setup easy. Speakers appear to fire down and reflect to you. Getting to sound menu not as easy as others.
Video setup has Game mode.
Audio has entertainment mode.
43.5" wide for 46" diag! PIP crystal clear.
2 HDMI inputs, 2 component, so know what is plugged where before you disconnect old equipment.
AnyNet + feature is great! Samsung tv links to Samsumg Blu-ray with Anynet+ via HDMI. Both remotes work the other device.
Sample dvd: Transformers and Blu-ray version. Great picture. Qatar base attack sound levels off, turned off Auto Volume feature to get full explosion and pulse wave effects."

"I have a home theater room, a Toshiba 720p Plasma and a Samsung 720p Plasma so this was my 4th HDTV, but my first 1080p. I absolutely love it. The picture is perfect out of the box. No adjustments needed. Try it with a PS3 game or Blu-Ray movie for a truly AMAZING experience. Even the stand swivels!
I looked at all the major brands online and then went to 3 different stores. The Samsung is clearly better unless you are willing to spend thousands and thousand. I just could not stomach buying a different brand."
