"We've had this TV now for nearly 2 years. It has been very reliable, no fuss, right out of the box. It is used largely as a display monitor with most sources going through a high quality receiver that outputs 1080p for everything, and up-converts lower resolution sources. While the TV speakers are OK, the B&W's with a good receiver/amp provide excellent home theater movies and music reproduction. I even use this TV as a monitor for my Mac Mini, and hi-res photos and HD home video played via the Mini are outstanding. Blu-ray is also excellent.

The only downside is that this is a 60hz TV and so sometimes very fast motion is a little juddery--e.g., watching a tennis match (the tennis ball) or a golf match (golf swing) or race cars (e.g., Indy 500). It is not distracting most of the time. I have experimented with the various advanced motion features, and the best setting seems to be custom where the judder reduction is set pretty high and the blur to medium. Nonetheless, I prefer the quality of the LCD display over plasma, and less reflection of ambient light, and can live with the occasional fast motion issues.

I looked at this TV because of it's very high rating in Consumer Reports Magazine. And they were right. It has a very good picture from all kinds of sources of video."

I've owned this TV for over a year and 4 months and the picture and TV are just as if i got it the first day, bright, crisp, and no issues what so ever. Love the many connections in the back and the side, I'm very tech savvy and have a lot of external devices to plug in and there's plenty left for more. "This was my first Samsung purchase and needless to say I am quite impressed. The picture quality is incredible and the tv is easy to use. Sound isn't bad as far as television speakers go. I've always been an external speaker type person, so the sound from the the tv isn't a priority for me. Plenty of inputs for all types of devices. I have the unit connected to the internet through cat5 cable to my router. Works great with PC Share. This unit really exceeded my expectations, I would recommend it to anyone."

"i like the quality of samsung TV's and monitors they have a aswome side viewing range that other brands dont. you can be higher or lower way left or right and still have full clearity that other brands dont. i find the stand to be very sturdy and i luv how it reacts to my blue ray when i put in a disk it automatic changes to the right source for viewing"

"We have had our Samsung TV for about 9 months now. We love it! This was our first flat-screen TV. The picture quality is amazing. It was easy to setup. We do not have cable or a DVR, so we don't know how that is. But with basic TV, it has been great. Love that there are multiple HDMI ports and the RCA ports also. And the price was great!!"

"This is my first venture in to a high definition flat screen and I can't adequately describe how happy I am with my Samsung LN46C630.

Whenever I make a major purchase, I over analyze all the available options out there. But this time, it was well worth the time and effort. I probably looked at 15 different rating guides and read hundreds of reviews. Most of these pointed me to this Samsung and they were correct!

The brightness and sharpness of the picture is beyond reproach. Also, I was a little concerned about the off angle viewing but after viewing this at the store even from a 70 degree angle, I saw no problems with the picture. Once in my family room, I have found no drop off of picture quality from any angle.

One reason I chose this set and not the 750 was I knew I would be buying a Blu-ray player and would get the internet capabilities there. Therefore, this set not being internet ready or capable was not a problem for me.

In summary, if you are looking for a set with a great picture and adequate features, then this set is for you!"

Went into my local stores and compared screen quality and other visual features between them all and in my personal opinion this product provides the best picture at every size it is available in! "Just bought this 46" to update a Westinghouse 32" that was five years old but still had a great picture. I was blown away...the picture on this set is so clear that it looks 3D to me rather than 2D. Can't comment on the sound since I have it connected to a surround sound unit. No regrets.

"I've owned this tv now for 2 months and i still cant get upset at it. the only thing that i wish it had was wireless internet capability. if samsung comes up with a firmware update that allows a "unlock" of something in the tv for it to be internet capable this would be the best tv ever"

"I have installed this TV a day or so ago and have been very pleased with the options, ease of set up and the clear manual. I was surprised that you could adjust the picture size and there are many options that are significant to a good set up. I have standard cable, and have noticed that the picture is a little blurred standing close to the set, but as I back away it is clear as can be. Note, I do not have HD cable, so that might make the difference. Would highly recommend this set to anyone. Liked it better in store over the LED/LCD version. Lacks internet, but don't need it."

"I must say that this tv is must have. Samsung gives you the best 46" lcd flat screen for the price. The tv has an awesome look, very stylish and the picture quality is amazing. It is very simple to use, the Anynet feature helps program devices so the tv can recognize them without having to switch between different hdmi channels all the time.
This tv is a must have for anyone who is looking for an excellent lcd flat screen for the price. I love my samsung tv and highly recommend it to other people. I hope to have it for many years to come."

"This tv is exactly what I was looking for. The picture in absolutely beautiful.. The ease of use is nice as well. I'm a little bias because i've only had Samsung tv's but this is by far the best one ever... I love the glass frame around the tv, and how the base of the tv matches it.. To me you're getting the best of both worlds: size, picture quality, slim-sleek look, classiness, and last but not least PRICE........"

"Researched best value and this TV was among the top everywhere I looked. Great value! Picture is amazing even in a bright room. Sound is good although I might look to improve on it. The first few days it seemed to have a problem recieving signal but after a week it seems to be OK."

"Ive never been this exited over a TV until now haha. I believe Samsung has the best picture available on the market today. Beautiful, bright, & vibrant picture and colors!

If you want a TV that will make you smile this is the one ;)"

"TV was received as a gift, so we had no part in selection; however, we have been totally enjoying it. We are pleased with all aspects, especially ease of use. I record a lot of shows on a VCR to watch later. I was able to easily figure out how to access the VCR. This is a true complement to the product, as I am no electronic buff."
