"1. of the 3D capable monitor's I have tested, this product was the most stable. We will be using them in a class environment, so stablity of design is important. 2. the form factor was one of the smallest. I don't mean they have a small screen, I mean once you are past the screen size, the thickness, the base height, the framing edge, etc. are the smallest. 3. image wise, it is not glassy bright. This is a problem/feature of 3D. Things look glassy on some 3D monitors/projectors. This produced 3D without a strong glassy feel. 4. the knock on features is a lack of HDMI input. This is only a pet issue (note the title), maybe it is why it is one of the least expensive 3D monitors."
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

Great Monitor with True 120Hz

"This monitor is excellent. The True 120hz input and 3-5ms response time help with ghosting extremely well. I have not noticed any input lag either. I do wish it was baclkit with LEDs instead of fluorescent lights (wider color spectrum and no flicker which is easier on the eyes).
What the other reviewer stated about 3D is partially incorrect. Any minitor is capable of 3D yes, but only a true 120hz or up monitor can make effective use of 3D shutter glasses, which are the most advanced and best looking method of obtaining 3D (e.g. Nvidia 3d Vision).
A True 120hz monitor or tv is one that accepts a 120hz signal. That means it displays a %100 correct image 120 times a second from the source (such as a DVD player or graphics card). 99% of mintors and TV's you see out there use a method on inserting a processed image inbetween each 60Hz image to create a good looking, but inherenly false 120hz."

"I had a problem with the monitor three years after I purchased it. It still had a couple of months left on the warranty when I got in touch with Samsung online support. They gave me all the information i needed to get my monitor fixed and I had it back in two weeks. Very good support for a top notch company.--- George from Pa."
"Ive had this monitor for about 2 years. Overall is has been very good to me. My only gripe is that it is hard to attach and detach the stand, takes a lot of force, and the plugs can be a pain to access while sitting on stand, you will have to lif the monitor. Those a petty annoyances though, this monitor has worked perfectly from day one and still is visually perfect."
