As with all Samsung products this is a great monitor. The screen graphics are amazing clear. This monitor doesnt have the built in TV tuner. I have the tuner in my PC so its no big deal. The monitor is well made and looks good too.

Great image quality with photographs and movies. And it looks great. I like the separate power supply. This monitor runs cool. The size doesn't take getting used to. Be sure to update your video drivers.

Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, it only had 2 peices to put together for the stand, non-glossy screen
Cons: stand is a little flimsy it rocks side to side.
I'm just a gamer/home user so to me every thing looked great and I haven't touched a control yet. Image looked great out of the box. Have a new Mac so no need for drivers, I only had to plug it in and use it. I've had it about a week now. No dead pixels.
A nit-pick/con would be the monitors "foot" is weaker then it looks as the monitor will rock side to side if you hit the table/desk. It doesn't rock forward or backwards at all so it doesn't bother me. It might if it rocked front to back, maybe. I have an Oak Roll-Top desk so you have to hit the desk pretty good to see it rock tho. I don't think you would like it on a card table or something similar. I have a sturdy desk other wise if it bothered me I might have taken a star away.
Some people have mentioned the "back light" leaking through but the only way you will ever see it is in between scenes on a game or on a DVD. I probably would never have noticed it if I hadn't read other reviews on similar monitors. I think they all do it to a certain extent but the only way I noticed it was when it went completely dark for a few seconds waiting for the next scene but you had to really look if there was any pictures or static scenes to look at while you waited. And sometimes it would go completely black in between scenes at other times. In fact how I remembered it was after I had a prior scene go to black and then the next one it just dimmed to a dark, dark blue instead of going black. I think it just depends on what the program/movie is doing as far as what it's telling the monitor to do?
No tilt or swivel, my old "other" brand had it but I only used it because it had a glossy screen with a window directly behind me, that and to dust behind it or to rearrange my accessories around the monitor. Flat panels are so light any way it's a moot point. Unless you have to share it with some one next to you quite often it's pretty much leave it and forget it. I'd buy another non movable one with a NON-glossy screen, with out question.

This is one of the best monitor/HDTV purchase I have made.
1080P connected to my blu ray player is just gives me the best picture quality ever. When used as a monitor screen doesn't look as bright and gave me somewhat of a yellow color tone but after some adjustments that issue have been cleared.
Using this as a monitor and a HDTV, the television looks fantastic as well. I am very much satisfied with my decision.

Cons: hard to disassamble
First off, this is a great monitor. The image quality is excellent, it has nice features and I really like the way it looks. I have however one thing that I dislike, specifically the way it is mounted. The mounting mechanisms are designed in a way which makes it almost impossible to disconnect the components once they are linked together. At some point I had to change apartments and while trying to move the monitor I was unable to pack it in its original box because of this.
Apart from this inconvenient I had no problems so far with it in over a year of usage.

This may be the best value in inexpensive tn monitors. The dvi screen looks very good out of the box, if over bright. The hdmi side when connected to a second computer required selection of MagicBright from the menu and some fussing with the video driver's utility. It was necessary to use the video driver's over-scan options to fill the hdmi screen. Additionally, the color was too green and I had to boost the blue channel for a neutral gray. Choosing MagicBright, either full or intelligent, results in a less than optimum screen image for the dvi side as well. The green and red channels are unbalanced, but the only option with MagicBright selected is to use the video driver's utility. I find that on a 1080p monitor color balance is difficult to accomplish with the video driver's color correction utility, in my case ATI'S CCC. Samsung provides two programs: MagicTune and NaturalColor. Both of these programs blue screened the system that uses hdmi. I did not attempt to use these utilities on the system using dvi. Both of these systems use current hardware and use XP sp3.
To sum up: very good value using the dvi input. However, using the hdmi input may require patience and compromise.
