"Even though it's not the best laptop on market but i still give it 5 stars compare to the same features (i5 core, etc...) that other brand name products have, this laptop does better! Love the style!"

"this is my first laptop, and i really love the 17.3" screen! its big enough to where i actually use a wireless mouse on top of the laptop. Its been decent for gaming, although smooth performance on more up to date games require lowest settings. I found out you can upgrade to 8gb ram as well. It has lasted me a good amount of time, and the warranty service is superb for when ive had to send it in!"

"I purchased both the R780 and R580 because they looked to be a good value and and features. I would rate both very high if it weren't for them both having the same design flaw - the power connector on the motherboard is not properly fortified to be able to take every day use. I blamed my daughter for hers going bad until mine went bad too. I take very good care when using and storing my 780 yet the power connector on the MB has the same exact problem - intermittent connection. I would think any laptop/notebook designer/manufacturer would know that is a major stress point and would have prepared for it but obviously not with at least these two models.
Other than that major flaw (at least in my view) I've enjoyed the laptop and really do like the design and features."
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, bad motherboard power connector design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

"This laptop looks stunning. Red gloss finish detailed very nicely. Build quality is excellent. The 17.3" has a very bright screen (1600x900) resolution. Colors look great. I'm not a track pad user so I can't comment on it's use(wireless mouse). It's a bit heavy but I knew that from the start. Real time battery life is terrible! I'm using it in a permanent setup on a desk mainly as a 2nd desktop. The laptop comes with enough ports to satisfy my use VGA, HDMI, 3 usb sata/usb, ethernet,and card reader. Also two 3.5 jacks for speakers and headphones. The speakers like most laptops are adequate for misc. use.
Keyboard is quiet and comfortable. Not used for gaming so I can't comment on that aspect."
