"this product in my opinion is great if you are a gamer. it was a gift to me for Christmas and was purchased on black friday. i use the wii, Xbox 360 and the PS3 and i have to say all games look amazing. the only thing i'm having a little bit of trouble with is when i'm watching Bluray movies. if it is a dark scene i will see trails. now this could have to do with my settings. i have yet to really dive in and do any adjusting so it may be either TV settings or PS3 settings i am not sure which.

the TV is very thin with a thin border. the connections in the back are very convenient and are just enough for all my systems. 2 HDMI ports, 2 components and 1 available RCA mixed with component. optical output and a USB slot. for me this is all i need for others this may be too little.

all in all great product, good price, i really have no complaints. i have had others with 1080p TV's come over shocked to find out it's only 720p."

"After extensive pre-purchase research, I settled on the Samsung 51" 440 model and am very pleased with my choice. When watching this model in a store along side many others, it became apparent that it had a great quality picture (even better than many more expensive units). It is performing very well for viewing sports and other broadcasts and for the endless video games our kids play. One limitation is the number of input jacks for external devices. You may need to buy a switch device if you use various game units or auxiliary sources like our house does. Even given that, this model is a great buy."

"Just purchased this tv from Best Buy, and we couldn't be any happier. We have an LCD in the bedroom, and this one replaced a 6 year old Plasma. This is our first Samsung tv, and after seeing how beautiful it is, we won't ever buy any other brand.
I first decided to buy LED because I loved the image quality. But when I was shown this one which is larger for half the price, I was intrigued. When they fired it up with a bluray... I was blown away and actually prefer this image type and quality of the plasma over LED. It's only 2 inches thick, and is energy star compliant.

Everything about it is beautiful: Image quality, style, design... my husband and I are VERY satisfied. Way to go Samsung!!"

"I already have streaming from my computer through my blu ray player and apps with it. This TV fit the bill perfectly. The more I studied up on hdtv's I decided to spend a lot less on this 720p tv. My cable only comes in 720 and I stream at most 720p.

"Purchased this tv 3 weeks ago, incredible value for the money. The picture is incredible, the 720p is awesome, its all you need, most networks arn't even capable of 1080p output so you can't even tell the difference. The colors and blacks are so rich. I highly recommend this tv for anyone on a budget, but looking to turn your man-cave into a show stopper when it comes to movies, gaming, and sports"

"I am extremely satisfied with this product. It was super easy to setup and the picture is great. You need to read the manual to get through the advance settings, but the settings are explained well. I had the option to choose LCD/LED over Plasma, but I went with this product because of the great price. Even though this is a 720P HD TV, the picture is crisp, blacks are extremely dark and I have no issues with angles or daylight glare. I am a little disappointed with the audio quality, but I am still adjusting the settings. To date, the best electronic purchase for me."

"purchased it for my 16 year olds b-day, he loves it, a little too big for me but the colors are vibrant and menu is somewhat user friendly, hd and xbox look great so far it looks like a keeper"

"I do not have this hooked up to a HD box so take that into consideration...but for some reason the flesh tone seems to be practically non-adjustable. Other than that, I'm pretty happy."

"I looked at a lot of tv's but none of them were above 47 inches and plasmas. I had heard don't get plasmas get the lcds or leds because they show the best pictures well that my be true but when I was at the store and the 51 inch samsung plasma was beside the 46 inch lcd, there just wasn't a lot of difference in the picture, but there was in the price and size. I saved a lot of money by buying the plasma and it shows a wonderful picture."

Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Cons: it only has 2 audio/video connections.
