"I have no complaints about this TV. It has performed to my expectations and demands.
One thing I'd love to see improve is the sharing or communicating (hub) with my PC. Right now it is really BAD.
I like to play music playlists via my surround system hooked up to the TV, but there is no easy way to do it with the current softwares."

Not a deal breaker though. :) Performance 4.7 if it were possible. .3 off due to buzzing noise that is and always is at least lightly present. "I got a great deal on this set as a display at BB. I was impressed by it in the stores and am very happy with it at home. This is the first plasma I have owned and am pleased with the picture, blacks are great, but can't seem to get the whites - real white using my Disney WOW Blu-ray.
Overall am very pleased, and impressed with the 3D aspects of the set. It has made me realize that the bigger the better when it comes to 3D. The next one I get will be larger."

"I purchased this TV from the big box Best Buy, I was torn between LED and Plasma, though LED seemed to have a great picture, plasma just had a richer color pallet. The store rep kept trying to sell me a sound bar for the TV, he said the sound quality was not the best. I almost bought it, but I decided to wait until I took it home. The sound quality is great! Overall, this is a great TV. I like Samsung as a brand as they always make sexy looking and quality products. I will always be a Samsung customer!"

"I have had this TV going on a year now and have not had any problems. The crisp colors are still fantastic. The 3D viewing is amazing. I like the fact that it can convert 2D to 3D. I watch a lot of things in 3D since buying this. Most movies I know buy are 3D, as at the time of buying this TV, I bought the Samsung Blue Ray player with built in Wi-Fi and 3D playable. I would highly recommend buying a Samsung 3D Blue Ray player with built in Wi-Fi, since its nice having access to Netflix with it and other apps. This TV has a nice Picture in Picture feature that uses the antennae of over the air or cable. However it does not have the ability to use the HDMI slots for PIP, which is kinda weird, but I guess you figure you probably wouldn't really watch the two shows or movies at once. I play my Xbox 360 on this TV too, and with the 2D to 3D feature Call of Duty MW3 looks insane, along with other games that I play. So I highly recommend this TV to anyone. But then again I am partial to Samsung anyways, as most of my electronics from cell-phones to my TV are Samsung."

"I swapped out my LCD TV for this one, I am a fan of deep black colors in movies because I like horror & action films. Everything is great. Movies show as if we were in an Imax theater, 3D works great and it converts regular TV/Movies into 3D from the screen. The audio decoding is excellent, the sound distribution is just right & the bass is deep (my stereo/surround sound system is about 7-years old). This TV is connected to our home network and streams media from my computer's shared folders. Great investment. <-I didn't spell check anything :-P"

"After doing my research, this TV meets all of my needs.
The options are great, I can hook up my kids HDMI game consoles "2 of them", my HDMI Blue Ray, and still have other connection options. The picture is wonderful, the blacks are dark and rich, the colors are awesome and watching a movie with tons of color and action that goes really fast the TV kept up with the action no little blocks going across the screen."

"After owning our 32" LCD tv for many years, finally decided to upgrade. At first, I never thought I'd get "plasma" because when they first came out, there was negative press about screen burn and viewing angle. I gotta say the young sales guy at major box store we went to made me realize that was all "old news" and changed my mind. Then I went online and was looking for bang for the buck. I feel I got it in my Samsung. Picture is beautiful. Great with sports, high def. Still haven't tried the 3d function, no glasses yet (one downside). It's so big I can also read the fine print in tv ads. Once linked up to my Samsung Blu-ray player with internet access, I am amazed at the content and ability to play music through Pandora and stream movies. Just amazing."

"..and you are at the movies! Have had this for about six months and we have put it through its paces with streaming video, game systems and a library of BluRays and DVDs. Monday Night Football looks terrific! I have this paired up with a Samsung BD-D5500 BluRay and a simple Samsung 2.1 HW-D450 audio bar, all built into an oak bookcase at the end of a 15X25 foot room. It displays wonderful color and sounds good. Not great, just good. The glass bezel gives it a nice floating effect when wall mounted.
There is a noticable lag when using the remote for apps. But, you get used to it quickly. Not a deal breaker. Most of the apps are of no consideration. This model did not include a remote with a keyboard, making the Facebook app is cumbersome and all but unusable. Pandora literaly rocks and looks great doing it. Auxilary inputs may have been better placed at the bottom, or aimed downward for gaming systems, so as to put less stress on the connections than the current side ports. The built in speakers are merely OK. You'll want to upgrade the sound to get any punch, thrum, rumble or bass.
On a related note, the PN51D550 has a remote that is not compatible with the Samsung sound bar, and its seperate remote must be used.
Overall, I'm pleased with the options given as to picture size, vibrance, clarity, saturation, hue and contrast. It can make a big difference going from live NFL or oversaturated broadcast shows like "CSI Miami" to something like "The Dark Knight" or "True Grit" on BluRay.
I looked for a long while to find the right set for what I wanted, much to the chagrin of my wife. The bookcase couldn't be built until I knew which television was going inside. But now, Mama's happy, kid's are happy and I finally get to watch films on a good theater system."

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Cons: i would have preferred a web browser, netflix instability, remote does not work the samsung sound bar
