"I love this thing, keeps my beer cold and my vegetables right for a long time. I am a single man and this is the rifght space for me. It will fit and it has an ice maker on the botton freezer. Also, looks amazing. If you look around you can find a great deal for it."

"I can't say enough good things about this Samsung product! First and foremost I was able to purchase locally and all service/repair, should it ever be needed , is also provided locally. It is extremely quiet and efficient. The bottom freezer is AWESOME! The drawers are very sturdy and make it really easy to find anything you might need. The LED interior lights are nice and bright, so no more squinting into the darkness to find items. Adjustability of shelves makes it easy to accomodate any size items you may have. The power cool option is wonderful for quick cooling when adding warm items into either the frig. or freezer. Easy to adjust temps if you need.
The stainless exterior doesn't show fingerprints (or dog nose prints) and is very easy to clean.
Overall a very nice product I would absolutely purchase again!"

"Great fridge. I never run out of room, even when cooking for about a dozen people. I've had it for two years with no problems. It never makes a noise, unless I don't close a door all the way. There is a "movable fresh box" (tiny crisper-like drawer that hangs from the top shelf) that I can slide to whatever side is convenient, but for some reason, Samsung made it just a bit too large to open with only one door open."

"love love love my new fridge. Also bourght the FE-R300SX/XAA range and microwave.
Have always found that samsung products deliver on style and functionality and are well built. We did find the microwave was of cheaper construction and had to return the first two for damage to the store. But we were more concerned with the range and fridge being what we wanted."

"I have a small u shaped kitchen and this fridge fit perfectly in 33" space. I replaced a side-by-side and now have more usable space in both fridge & freezer sections. I like the stainless finish & interior configuration. It runs quietly and does not show smudges. It looks very nice with my white cabinets and dark countertop. No issues for past 11 months."

"My Wife & I are extremely pleased with our new Samsung French door refridgerator. the fit & finish is high quality and is adorned with high dollar features at a working mans price. and with being JD Powers top pick for the past 6 years, says it all! At the factory default temp settings, it keeps my milk and beverages ice cold the way I like it. by arranging the shelfs for optimum storeage, gives us more than enough room in this size range. I could only find one fault in design resulting in the 4-star rating, which was the gallon storeage in the doors. there is only room for 1 gallon and 1/2 gallon in each door. would like to see 2 full gallons in each door. with that, it still would not leave room for 2-liter bottles. by moving the shelf with the slider as low as possible, leaves room for a gallon on the glass shelf and then the 2- liter bottle will work in the door.
All together, a great and attractive product for our needs!

"I can find everything without bending over to see the back of the shelves. It is so quiet. Love the lights in the frig and freezer. Easy to clean outside, a great alternative to stainless and you can put magnets on it. We find the doors work well for big bottles.This size frig is for a yong family or smaller.Our space was limited on width.Freezer has ample space and two draws makes it easy to see.Would liked ice in door but it is not available.Love chime when door is open too long or not closed."

"This is a second fridge for storing drinks, extra food items, etc. in the laundry room. My main refrigerator is a Viking, which is not designed as well, isn't as energy efficient or as dependable. Wish I had known about Samsung kitchen appliances 2 years ago."

"We have had a Amana for the last 19 years and it has served us well,but the wife has always complained about how loud and big it was. "We wanted a refrigerator that had french doors, a bottom freezer, and lots of storage that would still be compact enough to fit into a small corner of our kitchen. Our new Samsung is quiet, has lots of storage capacity, and offers some nice features such as an alert if the doors are not shut properly. The freezer is well-designed with drawers that pull out, which makes cleaning easy; the three freezer drawers also help to organize the contents of the freezer so we spend less time hunting for things. We like the look of the refrigerator too--clean, modern design. No cons so far. Another reviewer said that s/he was unable to store milk containers and wine bottles easily. We moved the first shelf to its highest position and have had no problems accommodating containers. To store wine bottles, we stash them underneath the small pull-out drawer that is located in the center of the refrigerator."

"It is a large capacity with a narrow footprint, it fits neatly into our smallish kitchen. Most french doors are 35 or more inches deep, this is 30 plus a 2 inch handle. Easier to walk around.
Door shelves are handy and the bottom ones are large enough to hold a gallon of milk. Having the most commonly used items at an easy height makes it handly and nothing seems to get "lost", as it is not too deep.
It is an attractive appliance.
The freezer opens easily and the bin slides forward so it is easy to get food out.
Things that could be improved.
The pull out containers, (meat, vegetables, etc.), cannot be pulled out unless both french doors are open. Solutions might be to make each bin a little less wide, so it could be pulled with one door open, or make one door narrower than the other, and have the bins fit the size.
The icemaker piping, while it was mentioned that there might be a taste in the ice, for awhile and to throw the first few batches out. This has continued, not nearly as bad, but the ice still has a slight aftertaste, Solution might be to set up the tubing so it could be washed out in the home before set up, or changing the material making up the tubing, or adding a filter at the point the water entered the ice maker. Not a big issue."

"Very satisfied with this refrigerator. It is well-made and a better quality than some other refrigerators on the market. The draws are made from a strong plastic unlike some which break in no time. I love the alarm that tells you if the door is left opened.

"I got my new fridge on Friday and i love almost everything about it. I love the led lights the french doors and the bottom freezer. The only thing that i dislike about my refrigerator is that it doesnt have alot of room to put bottles of juice, milk, or sodas without laying them on their sides and that takes up more space and i couldn't adjust the shelves. Other than that i LOVE it!!!"

"The issue we have found with our brand new refrigerator is that we no longer can use our brita water filter in our new refrigerator without removing a shelf. It is a little more than an inch too tall for any of the settings that use all the shelves.
The middle shelves may be adjusted to accomodate a similar but not as tall water pitcher-- but the only way we can accommodate our brita filter would be to remove the top shelf... Had the top shelf been able to be dropped one level (just as the middle shelf accommodates 3 different placements), we would have been able to use our brita filter.
So the suggestion, is to add more flexibility on the arrangement of the top shelf."

"The size is perfect for my kitchen spot. there are only 1 or 2 models from all other manufacturers wtih this size as a french door frige but the only problem it does not have a built in water line. it does have a ice maker but inside the freezer and makes ice by itself automatically, not avaialble immedidately when you need it and takes time to wait for the ice."

"The top shelf should have a second option on where it should go. You cannot fit juice or milk on it. I took the shelf and put it where the second shelf was and moved the second one down. It works for me but there is a lot of wasted space on top."

"I love this refrigerator, the looks, the features, everything, but even though it is bigger than my old 16-year-old top freezer 1 door refrigerator, it doesn't hold has much because the way the inside is designed. To store anything tall you would actually have to remove entire shelves. It should have had a 1/2 shelf design where you could remove 1/2 of the middle shelf to let you store taller items like tea pitchers, bottles of wine, etc. The door shelves hold our milk, but stay full with that so a lot of items have to be laid down on the shelves. Also, don't think the freezer has as much space as my old freezer. But I DO love the fridge and i am very happy I purchased it."

"In 3 weeks of use, and a lot of that time gettting things set up to be the most convenient after having our other almost 15 years, we know for being an exact size as our old model,(19.7 cu ft) this holds more. The shelves are handy and easily accessable. Had to take one of the door shelves out of use to accomodate taller items but still sufficient room. Like the easily visable and changable temperature settings. Freezer drawers are deep and hold a lot. Negative is that while able to stack a lot, also have to move a lot to get to some things so put seldom used items on the bottom users. The ice drawer fills too high though. Dont see any way to adjust the sensor arm so when it does shut off, some cubes WILL drop over the back and down under the drawer."
Pros: for kitchens with limited space.
Cons: not easily cleaned under

"I bought this freezer almost a year now and I had called in many times regarding freezer ice-maker. I thought it knows when to stop making when the ice bucket is full but it doesn't. Ice keeps falling down to the bottom of my freezer drawer and out onto my floor. I have to slided my hand in under the drawer in order to take the ice out. I wouldn't recommend this to buy. Here I thought this is a good one to rely on with that price."

"This is a pretty good refrigerator but there are some serious design flaws. You cannot fully open any of the refrigerator drawers without opening both refrigerator doors. The left door has to be pushed shut to close it tight if the right door is not open. Thank god there is an alarm to let you know it is not closed tight as my kids don't get it closed tight half the time. However the alarm is not very loud and if you are not still in the kitchen 30 seconds after it is not closed tight you can't hear it. Also, to remove the top bin in the freezer you have to open both frig doors and remove the bottom door shelf on at least one door to tip the freezer bin up and get it out. Only other thing I don't like is that the ice shatters into tiny pieces when it dumps into the bin. Don't know if this is a symptom of the plastic ice tray or what. I have tried various freezer temp setting with no change."

"Purchased this fridge in Nov. 2010. After about a year and a half the vegetable drawer started filling with water. Able to see the water leaking from vent but unable to get to it. Needless to say the warrenty didn't cover this poor workmenship. Would NOT recommend this product. Very disappointing for the price and a Samsung product. Thought they were better than this!!!"

"Purchased this unit looking for the typical Samsung reliability. Didn't get it. At 31 days of use the unit seems to have gone into a defrost cycle in the freezer section and got over zealous. It melted the ice and all the food in the freezer. Refrigerator section was normal. Tech is scheduled and we are hopping its something he can fix but now we have a confidence problem. Also the shelves are not fully adjustable, bad design feature. Good looking unit and it is sized very well for a small family"

"Milk and tall items can only be stored in the two french doors. There is not enough room to store two cartons of milk, two-liter soft drinks, wine, or other tall items. The top shelves do not have slide slots to relocate the shelves to accommodate tall items. Why not? The space is there, but there is no molded slots to move the top shelves. This is a huge design issue which renders the refrigerator to be minimally useful."
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: lack of tall shelves

"you left out a bunch of the shelf rails and killed the amount of stuff I could put in. The rails are spaced correctly, but should be at the places you left out to allow full adjustment
Why no link to the "Compliance Certificate" to get the unit's cert for my taxes?"

"I purchase this for the perferct width. BUT, the shelve"s do not adjust for maximum use. The two drawers are not adjustable, therefore I cannot put large items like gallons of milk carton, orange juice, ketchup bottle or even a wine bottle in the fridge. The door space does not hold enough of the large items and there is no egg carton holder. The best part is, I love the bottom freezer drawer."

"Our fridge lasted less than a year until problems began. A month before the warranty was up, water was leaking into the crisper drawer; had that fixed, but noticed after repair of the leaking water, the ice maker no longer worked. Filed a request for service one day before warranty set to expire. Repair came out, replaced the entire ice maker with a "new" one. Didn't work. Another repair person came from another service center for a second opinion. Says the latest ice maker wasn't "new," but reconditioned, going to install a new-new ice maker today. In the meantime, came home this past weekend to find half the food in our freezer completely ruined because it had completely thawed, while half the food was still frozen solid! Temperature settings hadn't been touched in a year, but now the freezer no longer works, the ice maker no longer works, and the sides on the inside of the refrigerator itself are warm and the warranty expired three weeks ago! We will never EVER own another anything Samsung."

"I researched heavily to buy my dream fridge. I saw people had issues with their fridge. I was hoping to beat the law of averages. I lose. My fridge freezes below the crisper shelves. It collects lots of water (?!) and then freezes it. Very disappointing. It is less than 2 years old."

"I've had to have repair out several times in the first year of ownership. The icemaker has stopped working several times. Now, the freezer is collecting frost, and the ice is fusing in the ice maker. A drawer in the fridge won't open. I've never had a more horrible experience EVER with an appliance. It's a LEMON!"
