"I bought 3 Samsung major appliances at once so I have been getting to know the features/manuals of each and have waited to write my reviews. I am starting with this one beacause it is my favorite! :)
First, this fridge is beautiful. I have no other words for it. I chose this model over the one with the exterior counter height drawer (which is what I had originally wanted). After spending an hour at the store opening and closing and measuring (LOL), I realized that this one simply had more door storage and we did not want to give that up.
The pantry drawer is awesome. Holds EVERYTHING that I need it to and we have yet to fill it up. The fold aside shelf is perfect as we always have at least 1 bottle of wine chilling. I am able to put an entire airbake cookie sheet on one shelf to cool cookies, which is amazing and made my holiday baking that much easier.
The ice maker is fast and not as noisy as my prevoius fridge (WPG Conquest). The water is COLD and it does not drip. IF you follow the instructions and dispense a few pitchers of water it will remove the air pockets and you will have no dripping.
There is a place for everything and this is NOT a small fridge (even thought the specs state that it is 3 cubic feet smaller than the one we replaced). We will probably never fill it completely. The freezer space matches that. HUGE. And a turkey will fit in the bottom without crowding, as will frozen pizzas, so I was very happy about that. A gallon of milk fits in the door, but I like it on a shelf inside on the right(part of the above shelf folds away to allow ease of milk storage).
No problem with finger prints or dents as the handles allow for all opening and beg to be touched.
Nothing else to add except that I have my hubby's word that we will be buying this for the next house too! We both are amazed that we could like an appliance this much!

"Well I was looking at this fridge for months and finally bought about a month ago and must say I love it. Spacious, the LED light, the alarm if door stays open notice veggies and deli stay younger fresh then with previous fridge I highly recommend this Samsung refrigerator"

"I bought this refrigerator on the recomendation of a family member. The one I replaced had to be repaired almost every other year. I have only had this refrigerator for a month but love it more everyday, the ajustable shelves are great! they just fold out of the way when need to space for taller things, the LED lighting is bright and lights up the space really well. The controls on the door are very easy to understand and use. I love the fact that the freezer and refrigerator compartments have seperate cooling units."

Pros: design, quiet

Cons: have'nt found any

"I researched french door fridges for a few weeks and finally decided on this one. Overall, it had the best ratings from numerous sources.

I love the roominess of this fridge and the versatility of the shelves. My old fridge was 10 years old so it was time to get a new one. This one keeps the produce fresh for much, much longer.

The ice and water taste terrific. And the big surprise was how fast the ice bin fills up. There is an extra bin in the freezer that stays full too.

The delivery guys had to remove the doors to get it through my door to install it, but they did an excellent job and didn't damage it.

I've had it a month and so far no repairs or problems, which was a fear after reading all the nightmare reviews. And spending this much on an appliance is not something I do very often. So I bought the extended warranty just in case. But the fridge is very quiet and I don't expect any problems. If any problems do start happening, I'll try to remember to update this review."

Love the design, not the noise

"I have had this just about a month now. I love the design, the space in both the fridge and freezer. However, it has a loud noise to it, like the compressor is revving up. It seems to have periodically throughout the day. My other issue is that the ice maker drops both whole cubes and broken cubes when the whole cube option is selected. Cubes are also white not clear but I read that is too be expected as it is making ice rapidly. Sometimes cubes seem a little
"watery" at times. Veggies and fruits seem to stay fresh longer and I love the deli area. I keep it on the lowest setting to keep meats fresh longer."

"The frig was delived with a dented door that required replacement. A total of 3 service calls were required after delivery before it was functional and we still don't know if our problems are solved. A summary of problems included a water tube that was too short, the left door was too low to close the vertical hinged section causing condensation build-up in the frig and finally placing washers on the bottom left door pin. A plea to the dealer Jessups Appliance to replace the unit fell on deaf eyes, they stated that Samsung had to approve this. This may be our last Samsung product."

"While we love the refrigerator, the ice-maker is a nightmare. It spits ice chips onto the floor and creates crushed ice even when we ask for cubes. We've had another brand ice-maker but this one is awful."
