"Very impressive appliance. Samsung has really done well with the overall design of this refrigerator. The stainless finish is top quality and very easy to clean. A damp, then dry microfiber cloth is all you need. The drawers are huge with plenty of room to store food. The center drawer with its own temperature setting is the best. The shelves are easy to adjust. And the LED lighting is so cool and stylish. The 2 in 1 ice and water lever allows you to get ice and/or water without pushing any buttons, just use the upper or lower lever."
Pros: impressive, stylish, great led lighting, lots of room.
Cons: freezer drawers need liners.

"I love this refrigerator. It is perfect in our new home.
My only issue is that I am unable to open the french doors wide enough to get the vegetable bins out for cleaning. There must be a way but I can not for the life of me figure it out. No, nothing is blocking them from opening, they just won't go quite far enough to get the drawer out. Some leaves from veggies have somehow gotten below the drawers and it's driving me nuts that I can't get in there to clean it. HELP! If anyone knows what I should do please let me know!!
And why is the side not stainless? In my kitchen one side is exposed. The gray is ok but I was disappointed that it didn't have the stainless finish I expected."

"First it is awesome to get a product that is 3cu ft more then what we had but keep it the same size. The test for me on the cooling of this fridge is how cold the milk is. Well this is the first time I can say that the milk is perfect! The four doors is another great thing. At first thought it was a lot of money but will never look back on buying this, would buy it again!!"

"This unit is awsome. Lighting is really great. Self closing drawers are great. Ice maaker noisy when dropping ice but non issue for us. Elegant design and finish. Water does not drip after filling glass.. Did initially but after running several gallons of water through sytem cleared all the air out of system.. don't forget there is probaly 50 ft of coiled hose in the frig to cool the water and this is fool of air during initial installation.
Temperature holding great and seems to be the quietest running refrigerator we ever had.. My hearing is still good :)..
Took advice from another review about using baby oil on SS surface... Best advice we heard for SS surfaces. Just coat the surface and wipe. all marks wipe off with dry cloth.. need to recoat about 1 month.

"Absolutely recommend this frig. Really happy with the 3 drawers / bottom freezer; had a side-by-side before. Great interior lighting and flexibility in shelf arrangement. Center Flex-Zone drawer and adjustable organizer bars are 'way more effective than you first expect - frees up a huge amount of room in the upper level.
The icemaker output is ample enough to create a stockpile if you need party-size supplies - plenty of room in the freezer since there's no extra icemaker taking up space. And OK, the ice drops with a noise into an empty reservoir, but is hardly noticeable after the first batch when the ice drops onto other ice. The nice thing about this design is that the deeper, narrower ice container dispenses the ice from the bottom and the ice supply stays fresh. The ice in my old frig had to be purged from time to time because some ice would get 'stale' when the mechanism would fail to pull the 'older' ice from the sides of a more shallow container."

"Only design flaw found is to be in the metal sliding divider in the separate middle refrigerator drawer. Metal divider does not have a way to stay locked after positioned, therefore food can and does move when drawer is opened and closed. This makes the divider in essence pointless to have. Would be perfect if it would lock in place, keeping food separated and in place. I did remedy this with zip ties to secure in place for long term, but defeats the purpose of being able to adjust as needs change.
All other features have been superb. You do lose space in the left door for the ice maker system, but this is well worth the convenience of having the ice/water in the door.
Lighting is excellent and the alarm when door is left ajar is a nice touch. Plenty of shelving and options to adjust shelving to accommodate a variety of items."

"Well, the holidays are over and this refrigerator passed the test. I had more than enough room to store everything I needed AND the leftovers.
We have had the refrigerator since the Tuesday after Memorial Day - our previous refigertor had the grace to conk out on that Sunday night so that we had the chance to hit the internet, find the reviews and shop for the killer Memorial Day deals. We had our new Samsung French Door/Snack Drawer delivered on Tuesday.
We have found it to be quiet and efficient. Sure, the ice goes "clunk" when it drops, but no big deal. It would do the same thing if you dumped the ice in a bowl. Complaints were made about the water dispenser having a final "drip" after filling a glass; so just hold the glass there half a second longer. (Problem solved.) I like the fact that the water dispenser angle allows you to fill a glass that is larger than the opening in the door. Either French door can be opened and closed in any order; the design does not require one to be opened or closed first. I found the shelf configuration and door compartments to be flexible and handy. Plenty of space. The grandchild love the snack drawer. (So do I.) I was a little concerned about having the freezer on the bottom as a big drawer - but to my surprise, it has not been hard to keep it organized. Big things from the wholesale warehouse store fit nicely with space left over. I highly recommend this refrigerator."

"The main reason we purchased this one is bc of the middle drawer. It is on the "cold drink" setting and keeps soft drinks very cold! The led lights on the inside are really cool and so is the display. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to produce much ice, which we don't use that much anyway. If you're sitting alone in the dark watching a movie, be prepared. A few times the noise from the ice maker has made me jump."

"I love this refrigerator! It's big and bright inside. Very easy to store large items and the best lighting I have ever seen.
It has the easiest water filer to change of any model I had looked at. My only issue is the icemaker is noisy. When it drops ice into the bin, it is very loud. I can hear it in the next room. The other features more than make up for this annoyance, though."

"The middle drawer with its 4 pre-set temps is the most used part of our new Samsung! Beverages are chilled to the perfect temperature without moving them from freezer to fridge or using the meat drawer. Bottles of wine are an issue (at our house) but solved this with the little Rabbit corks. Now they lay down in the Middle drawer. Some of the door shelving has some odd configurations, but something fits everywhere. I love the french doors and the higher "floor" height."

"I loved this fridge (had to move). Very nice looking and the middle drawer was perfect for kid snacks. Only complaint is that in the middle drawer there is not a way to keep the separator in place so it kept knocking things over."

"Only had Fridge for 2 days. So far I really like it. Very quiet when running. Yes you can hear the ice drop but its nothing major. Love the spacious interior. The shelves on the doors seem very roomy and durable (looked at another brand a tad less expensive but in the long run the plastic shelves are better in this one)"

"This is a great frig! Good looking and love the large capacity and deli drawer that is separate. Was not sure about purchasing the deli drawer- more expensive with it, but glad I did. It is a very useful and convenient feature. Freezer is quite a bit bigger than the one on the side-by-side it replaced and easy to access. The only thing not nuts about is the stainless steel. It does mark up fairly easily, but the range I wanted only came in stainless, so had to go stainless on frig too. One would think they would have made a stainless that does not mark up so easily by now. Ice maker is a bit on the small side, but for just the two of us, it make plenty. Will just have to remember to pull a batch and put in freezer when having a party.
Can't speak to reliability of this product as not had it that long- about a month. Will have to wait and see."

"Opening any of the many drawers on this fridge you immediately see everything in the drawer or on the shelves. The LED lighting obviously helps as all compartments are well lit. Even if you cram this fridge full most items are still easily seen. The ice maker works very well; when i got the fridge i was told i wouldn't get ice for about 24 hours, but it was making ice within 4 hours. The water filter is easy to change and does not require removing any food items to do it. The shelf design complements the stainless steel exterior and enhances the overall look of the unit. I do have two small quibbles. The ice maker/water dispenser always dribbles after you get either ice or water. This could be a gasket problem. But you always have to wipe this area afterwards or you could get water stains especially if you have hard water. The other quibble is with the design of the freezer unit. There is a divider but it is screwed into the base and therefore does not allow you to change the compartment sizes to separate different food groups."

"I am so pleased with my French Door refrigerator. It is spacious, easy to clean and just looks great overall.
It is pretty quiet other than the ice cubes dropping into the tray at night you never hear it running.
I love the middle drawer we put cold drinks in the drawer and it is so convenient.

"I had purchased a comparable refrigerator from another manufacturer, and it was a lemon. I went to the store where I purchased and demanded that they take it back and allow me to select something different, rather than just replace the lemon. "Very much like my Samsung refrigerator. My only problem is the middle and freezer drawers only pull out about half way, making it difficult to see what's in the back of those compartments. What's the problem? Seems like they should pull out at least 2/3 or 3/4 of the way. Thanks."

"this is the second one we got the first one was always over frezeeing in the frezeer and making ice plates got it replaced with a newer one now works great. i loved the first one so i didnt want to change it plus having the four doors is good."

"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this refrigerator! Roomy, easy to clean, love all the seperate environment controls for individual drawers. SO, SO glad decided on this model with the 'FlexZone' drawer. Have NO idea how often you are in and out of it until you have one. The extra slide drawer in the freezer is super handy for smaller items that normally fall to the bottom. I did not want a stainless one, but was stuck due to emergency, but am happy with it...whatever process used is super, so easy to clean compared to other stainless items I have, no smearing. Great job Samsung."

Cons: water filter cartridges too expensive...come on!

"My family loves the meats/snacks/party trays/wines drawer. It is so handy for keeping meats/cheeses fresh and handy. And so helpful in organizing and planning. Nothing gets lost in the back of the fridge. This drawer is the reason we bought this particular model (RF4287HARS) and it has not disappointed. That leaves the shelves in the refrigerator for fresh fruits and vegetables and the spacious shelves on the doors for salad dressings and other condiments. And the flat broad surface at the bottom inside of the refrigerator is a great holding area while I move things around inside the unit."

"I had this refrigerator for over 6 months and it is working like a champ. I had no issues yet. This refrigerator is very spacious maybe two big for two people (which is my case) The ice maker works quickly and it is very effective. The only thing I would say about this refrigerator is when it is dropping the ice to the ice box it is a little loud which can scared people that are not used to it. After a while you become immune to it and it doesn't become a big deal anymore"

"This is the best refridgerator I've ever owned. It is so well lit and open that nothing ever gets lost (you know what I mean) and turns green and fuzzy. The middle drawer is a fabulous idea because it can be set to a lower temp than the fridge but higher than the freezer; very convenient. The sliding drawer in the top of the freezer and the shelf in the top front of the freezer are also unexpectedly useful. Due to the excellent interior lighting and layout everything seems right at your fingertips."

"I haven't had this refrigerator very long, only about 4 months now. I absolutely love it! The only problem I have with it, is that it is a little bit louder than it was when I first got it. Not sure what that is about, but I don't see any other problems. It's not so loud that it's annoying, just a little louder is all. Nice and big."

"This refrigerator has all the features we wanted: Wide shelves when I need them. Tall shelf for open bottles. Space in doors for so many condiments (these take up so much room) compared to side by side, best I have owned. The Samsung 4 door, with bottom freezer holds all that I need. Still keep a stand alone freezer but that's how we shop."
