"Most fridge are big and stupid. This one is intelligent. It is not perfect as it is better at managing lower temperatures than higher temperatures. For example temperatures won't go above 46F for cheese and wine, the two upper sections of the fridge cannot be converted: they work just like a regular fridge. Only the two bottom sections of the fridge can be converted. So you are still stuck with an upper freezer section which in my opinion is a waste if one buys only fresh food and does't freeze anything, like myself. So this fridge does not offer total flexibility. Two of the pre-set temperatures for the bottom sections are great and unique: 30F (chill) and 25F soft freeze. Those temperatures are the ones that butchers and fish markets use to keep their meat and fish for long period of times in walking coolers without freezing anything, keeping meat and fish ready to sell; just below water freezing temperatures, still above freezing temperatures for meat and fish. No consumer refrigerator can do that.. Different kinds of food and beverages need different temperature settings and today one has to buy two or three fridges to accomodate everything. With the Samsung one will still need separate wine and cheese cooler unit(s) but the Samsung is a big step in the right direction. I love it!"

"I've had this unit for a few months now, it was the prior year model. It's really nice to have the ability to change the bottom drawers from basically a Freezer or a Refrigerator. Shelves are adjust nicely, easy to put lots of items it.

The only thing that would be nice would be a drawer from one side all the way to the other of the unit that could be a fridge or freezer. I mean an external door, so you could put in big party trays of cheese or meat, or if you buy the big frozen pizzas. So, make it 5 doors and it would be perfect, except for the price. it's a LOT of money."
