"I purchased this refrigerator about a year ago. It has performed with NO problems. The stainless steel is easily dented, and shows up more so than other types. I've heard that people have had problems with the ice maker and over all power problems, but that has not been the case for us. We've been very pleased with this purchase as well as with the our other Samsung appliances. We utilize the freezer / refrigerator bottom doors option as needed and have no complaints. Overall, this is a very good purchase. I do agree that it is a little over priced."

"I bought this refrigerator a year and a half ago! I really love the way you can control all four compartments seperately.
It is also really quiet except when dumping ice. I am very happy so far with this product, the only complaint I have is the ice maker dispenser door doesnt close by itself half of the time and it has been that way since day one. All in all I am satisfied, Oh I also thought it was a bit pricey too."

"Freezer quit after a little over 2 years. Love the design of 4 compartments but not user friendly because shelves are not adjustable. Not reliable because freezer quit so soon!"

"We have had this item for 2 years and 3 months. We are now on our 4th warrenty repair. It has failed to freeze now 3 times and the ice maker is about to be replace for the third time. The unit dents easily, more so than what I think is normal. The idea is a great one and we do enjoy the flexability that the four sections offer. But to have had the brain board replaced twice, ice make three times and the ice door replace, in this time frame is a bit much. I was willing to pay the price for it but with all the trouble, it's overpriced. Also as a side note; if you use an average amount of ice, it will not support yourt needs. I had to go and purchase ice trays and supplement our ice make with trays. That should never have happened!"

"Had to have service after two years. Never did make more than 16 ice cubes per 24 hours. All four sections defrosted four times, resulting in several hundred dollars loss in food stuffs. After having the compressor replaced and the ice maker replaced/rebuilt, the totally concealed condensor unit failed and the unit was deemed non-repairable. Three months of total frustration including three periods of family and company for the weekends."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
