"Has everything I need in a phone and more! Not to mention it's sexy! It's super thin with a 4.8" screen that feels big in my hand. (Coming from 3.7" on a Droid.) A little dim compared to other phones. Even on maximum brightness... But it's not that noticeable. I love the 1080p video and 8mp camera. NO SHUTTER LAG IS AMAZING! Motion features are awesome, and S-voice is pretty good! Nothing you could hold a conversation with, but it's still fun to use. The 2GB dual-core processor works great. Quick and snappy.
Battery lasts all day! Been unplugged since 9:30 this morning... It's about 10pm and I still have 74%! (With moderate use.) Probably helps I only have one widget running..
All in all this is a wonderful phone. I would definitely recommend it."

"I love this phone, this is my second phone from samsung, i had the Galaxy Nexus before this one and loved that phone also but this one is even better. I love the size of the screen and phone and way the software runs on it, i went and bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 right after getting this phone and i love the tablet too. My upgrade is in a few months and i plan on getting the Galaxy Note II as well or maybe the Galaxy S4, i'm not sure yet on that."

"I love my SIII, and feel it's a true smartphone with so many different features. Initially, I thought that the phone would be too large, but I couldn't resist the awesome screen size. Now, I'm so glad that I chose it. It's been really great for watching videos during commutes. My only issues/disappointments are that sometimes my phone calls are not as clear as they were on my old phone, and parts of the conversation cut out. This happened only a few times, so it hasn't been too big of an issue. One thing that does bother me is a slight static background noise when I plug in my headphones. I still haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. Overall, it's great phone, and I would definitely recommend it."

"I have very little negative to say about this phone. As with all smartphones, the battery life is awful. I downloaded a free app which helps, but not quite enough. My phone does make it through the day without recharging. I've been reading that there's another upgrade in the works and am looking forward to seeing what improvements it brings. Camera features could be better. Screen is very difficult to see in bright sunlight. Swype is great. Voice is much improved, and I've started to use it for texting much of the time. I bought the phone refurbished through Verizon Wireless, and couldn't be happier. I had a Blackberry, previously."

"I have been thru many phones over the years and I have to say by far this is the best! I use all the upgrades on my account and my kids get the hand me down model (mind you I usually get a new phone every 6 months) I can honestly say, I am due for an upgrade now and I have no intention of upgrading this phone, at least not until they release the galaxy IV - my son cant wait to get this one!"

"The no lag on the camera is AMAZING and the picture taking WHILE recording vid is mind blowing for me. The screen may not be as fantastic as made out to be but its pretty good when it comes to videos. Without a doubt this phone exceeded my expectations. The camera is great, the speed and flow of EVERYTHING! You may pay a little extra than any other phone but its worth it! I cannot picture having a different phone except the Galaxy S4!!! Buy it and love it..bottom line."

"This device has really changed the way that I use my smartphone. It comes with many Samsung exclusive features (s-voice, all-share play etc.) that I greatly appreciate. Updates for this device come out relatively fast,always have offered new features that I can utilize in some way, and all updates have greatly improved on all existing features.
S-voice
Before the Jelly Bean update s-voice couldn't even compare to siri, it was choppy, unresponsive and lacking key features. Now I find myself commonly using it for everday task including scheduling events, sending messages, and navigating on the go.

Pros- I love this device it has a premium feeling about it even with the plastic backing. I love the user interface on this device it offers easy access to all the features I need quickly and efficiently. batter life is sufficient for a days use and can be greatly extended with the use of the battery saver option already installed on the device. I also loved the headphones included with the S3 they provide rich sound that can reach high volume.

"Everyone I know is Iphone lovers and they constantly try to argue their phones to me. My response to them is my S3. It does everything their phones do and so much more, and the best part is that its so much cheaper. It is an amazing phone and I would never trade it in, well maybe for the S4."

"Phone is amazing, best specs on the market, build quality could be better. My volume buttons sometimes get stuck, and my power button is very wobbly, and not firm at all. Seems like it's going to go inside the phone soon.

Phone works amazing as soon as you unlock the bootloader (Verizon) and flash a custom ROM on it."

"While it maybe over 6+ months old the phone itself is still quite awesome. It's not the most perfect screen(with 1080p out) or fastest/responsive phone out there but it sure packs an overall punch that can't be duplicated. The way it feels in your hand almost feels like a natural fit, more-so than any other phone I've had or played with for a few hours. The camera, sound, & S-Beam features are awesome in my opinion....and again not #1 in any specific category but it's overall experience makes it hard to beat.

Honestly other than the New New phones & the Galaxy Note II nothing else comes close to a Galaxy SIII and the funny thing is even the bleeding edge brand new phones still have missing pieces to their puzzle.

You can't go wrong with this phone & now they are @ a price range even more affordable then 6 months ago."

"I have used many, many, phones in the past. I work in the telecommunications industry and I deal with phones on a daily basis. The features that Samsung has implemented into the SIII are PRICELESS!

I have a Samsung Smart TV with AllShare, and the ability to stream my movies, music and pictures to my TV is my favorite feature. However, I do wish i was able to get a "mirror" mode from my phone to my TV with AllShare. I know that this is a new feature Samsung is working on, and i hope they will continue to improve over the life of the Galaxy series phones."

"My first problem with my previous phone was battery life. It was awful. This phone lasts quite a bit of time with many more processes running in the background. It has great speed handling what I want it to do and minor setbacks like freezing. It usually unfreezes quickly too.

This phone is a looker. In a society where the Iphone has become the go-to phone a phone needed to come out that would change people's mind and I think the Samsung Galaxy SIII did just that with its sleek look and great display."

"It's a big change from a smaller screen of 3.5" to a 4.8"
but you get use to it.
The camera is amazing, only bad thing is that it doesn't print the date in the picture (like my old HTC)
It is super fast, bigger screen is always better for youtube videos or for browsing the web.
Android still have to work in the landscape keyboard, it doesn't have to take all the screen.
It's always good to have an extra storage, Micro SD slot."

"Great phone, I wish the camera was a little better/faster but as far as phone cameras go its nice.

the processor is very fast as is the phone, it rarely if ever gets bogged down with a task.

I could do without the physical home button its not really necessary with the new android operating system.

the case is plasticy and feels cheap but has held up nicely albeit a little slippery, I recommend a thin aftermarket case. The skin that samsung puts over the standard android isn't terrible, there are some nice features. S voice still needs some work as it is fairly inaccurate when listening to my speech.

The display is beautiful, the colors are nice.

The Wifi antenna is not great, even in the room with my router I get less than a full signal. The 4G runs smoothly though.

Battery life has been exceptional for such a large phone, but at times the phone does run a little hot in my pocket.

The screen is large, but not unreasonable. it still fits in my pocket. Do not put a screen protector on this phone the gorilla glass is plenty durable, and smooth.

I wish there were more fitness related accessories for the phone.--ie waterproof running arm bands etc. there is a fair amount of aftermarket support but nothing like a certain company with fruit for a mascot.

I would buy this phone over and over again compared to its competitors."

"I've had several Android phones, including the Droid Razr Maxx, but the S III beats all of them. I was suspicious of the TouchWiz skin, but so far it only benefits the user experience.
This is by far the best Android phone I have ever used. I have recommended it to numerous friends when they were in the market for a new phone."

"It seems as if the makers of this phone have had read my mind at some point in the past to know the exact features that I would have had need for when I'm using this device. From simple features such as Direct Dial to the wonderful integration of Google features such as Now etc. And the ability to send a text message without ever having to touch my phone (using just a bluetooth connection). "I've been a gadget geek my entire life. The S3 is the best Android phone on the market until the S4 / Galaxy Note 3 come out. Hands down. It's fast. You can load as many apps as you want. All the emulators you want. All the stuff you need for work, your commute, fun stuff, news, there is nothing this phone can't do. Add a case with a kickstand and you have a portable movie player. Turn on your GPS, you have a free Navigation system. It's sleek, slim and feels great in your hand. Being able to easily share media between your Samsung smart TV is one of my favorite features. It can act as a remote control for your DirecTV box, your TV itself, and the PS3. It is so many tools in one it's hard to even put it into words how handy it truly is. I am remotely arm and disarm my home security system, turn on my lights and modify my Air Conditioning settings. There is nothing this thing can't do. The only thing better will be when the S4 / Note 3 comes out later this year. I've become a huge Samsung fan and love the heck outta this thing!"

"I've had several "Smart" phones and the Galaxy S3 is my favorite by far.

The camera takes pictures as quick as I hit the button. This phone has never locked up on me and the screen is perfect! (unlike my other Android and Blackberry Phones)

The battery life though...... I had to buy an extended battery, but with the extended batter, I can use the dock...

One addition I would of liked would be a micro HDMI port, I know you can get an adapter, but that's one more thing I need to buy...

Also, the color was not my choice. I got the phone in white because the blue one was to girly for me. The phone should of come in black when it first came out and if Verizon had a red version, I would of been all over that!"

"I went from a Droid 2 to the Galaxy S3, so obviously I would be happy with almost any upgrade. However, the S3 has continued to exceed my expectations. Love everything about it -- especially the performance and the form factor, which is actually very important to me (personally, I consider the S3 the best-looking smartphone out there, even though it's been out for nearly a year). Going from a Droid 2, I was a LITTLE worried about the larger screen sizes of today's phones, but I've found the S3 to be perfect for me (the droid 2 now seems ancient to me). Love my S3 and convinced my wife to get one too. When shopping, I compared the S3 with the Note 2, Droid DNA, Razr Maxx HD, and the Nexus 4. Glad I went with the S3 -- highly recommend!"

"I use a GS3 for my work phone and it is amazing! I really like the large screen and the features that are packed into the slim device. I really like the shutter speed of taking pictures as well. I use an iPhone 5 as my personal phone and I would've bought a GS3 instead had I not already have one from work."

"very speedy, aesthetics is great although hard to hold without a case. feels slippery. Camera is fast & takes a very sharp picture. Camera software needs a more advanced edit function for red-eye fix etc. the screen is great, has an eye popping picture. One would not be the least bit disappointed after getting this phone. kudos Samsung!"

"I really love my Galaxy S3!! It was the ultimate prize for me and I almost settled for something else. Thank goodness for a great salesman!! It pretty much has everything but the kitchen sink on it!! For a fast on the go mom, that says a lot!! The best feature for me is that it Synchs with my car for a great hands free experience. I love that its user friendly for a not so savvy tech mom! I love the look and feel of the hardware and all the cool user features such as S Voice commands for phone and camera as well as the share file and S Beam features that make this hands down better than the competitors out there right now!! You can't go wrong with this product!!! The only thing that would make this better is the coming out of Jellybean 4.2.1!!!"
