"I have it with me every day, heck, every moment. I can do everything on this phone. I no longer need to drag my laptop on a trip because I can do everything on my Note II. I am very happy. It is a little expensive, but it is worth the extra to have such a powerful tool.

I have never dropped it but I do think it's more durable than it seems. When you take the back cover off it seems very thin but I think it's okay.

The display is wonderful. Clear and beautiful colors. I don't haul around a separate camera anymore either. My Note II takes great photos."

"This is a great phone battery is 32 hours average. The screen is easy to watch movies on and gps navigation. The s pin makes it easy to take notes. I gave it a 4 on design for the plastic fram and body. However with an otter box makes this a moot point."

"I have had great service with this phone. If there was one thing I would add it would be that my phone automatically connect with my handsfree unit in my car. It is paired, but must be connected everytime. Other than that I have NO complaints about my phone. I actually showed it to my friend, who said she would keep her old phone forever. The next thing I knew, she had gotten a Note II. She loves it too. I am glad I went for the Note and left my other phone behind. Great job Samsung!"

"I am a proud owner of Samsung's Flagship Phablet, The Galaxy Note II (Titanium). I also am a Samsung enthusiast. I decided to surprise my Mom with an early Mothers Day Gift; the Galaxy Note II because I found it hard for her to give me mines back. I bought my Mom the Note II because I noticed that she juggled an iPhone and iPad. My solution was simple, the Hybrid Galaxy Note II, both Smartphone and Tablet. I thought the Upgrade from iOS 6 to Android was going to be complex. In my Mom’s opinion it was very easy to incorporate into her daily business projects. The features that my Mom uses the most are the S~Pen, Air View, Dual Screen Mode, S~Beam, and the innovative S~Note. My Mom is happy with her new Phablet and hopefully will enjoy it for years to come."

"I LOVE this phone. My son bought this for me and with an external Tv/Monitor and keyboard everything you need is right there. For years I have asked for a tablet with a phone in it and everyone kept telling me that there wasn't one available. Now there is, this is it. I has and does EVERYTHING. "I came to the galaxy note 2 from an iPhone 5 and what a difference. I was able to easily transfer all my contacts, calendars, photos and music. The screen is much easier to read on than the iPhone, and the color is magnificent. The phone is faster than the iPhone, and Android has many more customization features than IOS. One of my favorites is NFC-it just makes life a lot easier! Well done Samsung!"

"I have had my Note 2 for about 6 weeks. I was a iphone user previously, and was looking to try something else due to boredom. I found the video and picture quality on this phone to be far superior to the iphone 4 or 5. I get the snidely comments about the size, but I actually like the size. It is great for viewing the screen, but also for talking on the phone. I can brace it between my cheek and shoulder if necessary. It is a bit cumbersome to use one-handed, but I have adjusted pretty quickly. My daughter and husband are still on iphones, and typing on the screen is so much more difficult. I am still mastering the S pen so I dont' have much to offer there. Overall I am very pleased with this phone. The only design change I would suggest is to move the power button to the top. It is hard to manuever on the side without adjusting volume with it."

"The main reason I got this phone was the large screen and the great feel. It fits in my front pocket even though it is large. A lot of the smart phones in the US have that cheap plastic feel. This phone feels more solid. The screen is amazing, blows the iphone out of the water. I don't really use the stylus all that much, but it's a nice feature. I also love the flip covers you can buy. Theres no need for one of those annoying film covers. The flip microfiber inner cover also cleans your screen by itself. The microfiber does tend to get a little dirty but I have found just wiping it with a dam cloth tends to clean it pretty well. Great product samsung."

"The Galaxy Note II is a feature packed phone that is great for all users.
First off, as a phone, the Galaxy Note II has good call quality with voices being heard clearly on both ends of the call. A loud earpiece and speakerphone in combination with a sensitive mic lead to a great calling experience.
The large display features good viewing angles and great color saturation making it a great screen to consume media on whether it be videos or pictures.
The back camera takes great pictures and videos for sharing events or memories with friends and family. The built in shooting modes work great allowing the phone to take great photos even in low light conditions.
The S-Pen feature of this phone greatly contributes to this phone by allowing the user to have extreme precision when creating media and also to have a computer-like interface at times so that when browsing the web for instance, the user can navigate through drop-down menus."

"I really like the large display. I am getting older and my vision is not as good as it used to be. I can increase the font size and see even the fine print. The predictive text is great, I am not a big texter but I find it easy now, I can use the stylus to pick whole words and send long texts very quickly. The speech recognition is also very accurate and quick. I love everything about this phone."

"I spend a lot of time in waiting rooms, I can read books on this thing, watch TV shows, get my work done and it all fits in a pocket. Yes, it actually fits in my pockets which was the most surprising part. When you get used to it, suddenly it doesn't seem so big once you realize it fits everywhere. The battery lasts forever and this is the first phone I've had that the speakers are loud enough to use in crowded spaces and still hear. (I'm not a jerk, I do pull out headphones when appropriate)"

"After a 3 year break due to intense competition, I returned to Samsung to my best smartphone experience to date. The Galaxy Note II has the most customization of any phone I've owned or handled. The screen size and resolution are exceptional. I like that I can disable the pre-installed apps I don't want (although I wish I could DELETE them without rooting the device). Furthermore, the processing power and built-in task management allow for enjoyable multitasking. My only complaints thus far are that the plastic back cover is terribly flimsy, especially after having just upgraded from a device with a fully sealed water resistant kevlar body. And, the multi-window on the Verizon model lacks any real customization (making it useless to me), in contrast to the T-Mobile model that allows for extensive customization with apps I actually use. I've been looking for a patch for this from day one, as it was one of the cool features that initially sold me on the phone."

"Ok, the first phone was defective, a known issue with the display not coming out of the sleep mode. It happens.
Next phone volume way too low, but It corrected itself after OTA update.

Now the phone is absolutely the best phone/tablet ever and in fact, I sold my Nexus 10 because the phone is so good and the screen so big, who needs a tablet?

"It's truly an amazing device. Great performance from the quad core inside and still has a 2 day batter life for me. What sets this apart from other phones is the S Pen. A great feature is the air view it has. Its basically like a mouse hover and does wonders on drop down menu's on the internet. the only con I have with the phone is that the speaker grill cover is raised so it can be heard better, but on a hard surface it makes the phone wobble around."

"The Galaxy note 2 is hands down, the best android phone I have ever used, (I used android phones from other manufactures before picking up the galaxy). The phone is perfect for serious business users as well as folks who want "have fun". The display is excellent, and the battery life is stellar (I get 36 hours on a single charge with light use, and 24 hours with heavy to moderate use.) The phone fits comfortably in my front pocket (with an otter box commuter case). I cannot recommend this phone highly enough."

"As a cellphone company employee, I can say without a doubt this is the best phone out there. With a quad core processor, a 5.5 inch screen and a boatload of features, it's easy to say I love this phone.
Pros:
- Huge screen. Watching movies, sports, youtube is really nice and you don't have to hold the phone 6 inches from your face. Everyone will look at your screen from a distance and be amazed that they can see it from that far away.
- The phone is stylish in white - it looks like a phone people want to have. Everyone I talk to says "ooh, pretty phone."
- Functionality is top notch. The phone allows you to browse the internet and type a text message at the same time. For me, that means watching live hockey games on the internet and being able to trash talk my friends at the same time.
- The S Pen. It makes editing photos fun and easy. Verizon removed the photo editor app from Samsung, so you have to find it, but I edit photos all the time with the pen and post them with ease to social sites and send them to friends all the time and they love the pictures.
- For the size of the phone, it is light weight, even with a protective hard case on the phone. The phone fits in all of my pockets, and it's really not that huge when you put it to your face. Some may complain about this, but it's really a non-issue when you realize all of the pros it has when you are using the screen.
Cons:
- It is expensive, but I still think it is worth the price on contract.
- One thing that drives me nuts is the curved edges of the screen. Most screen protectors go right to the edge of the white (or gray) portion of the device and they end up sticking up a little bit (not completely stuck to the phone), so they end up getting dust under the edges. Not a huge deal, but frustrating."

"Where to begin... the Samsung Galaxy Note II is a leviathan of a phone! Its 5.5" display might be daunting at first but you quickly adjust to it and it feels normal. It might be a bit of stretch for those with small hands, but everything is certainly do-able! The Quad-core 1.6 GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM provide for a blazing fast phone! I myself haven't encountered any lags/slow-downs yet. It's fully capable of running most (if not, all) of the current games on the market. The S-pen and NFC capabilities of the phone offer features that like no other and set it apart from the average smartphone.

Battery life is also extensive, and lasts all day! A power saving feature is also available to further extend the life of your battery. The back of the Note II features an 8MP camera that takes beautiful photos (you can even add filters in real-time) and 1.9 MP front camera that is decent as well. Other features of the camera are: Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, and image stabilization.

All in all, nearly everything is great about the Samsung Galaxy Note II. I am completely satisfied with my phone, more so than any previous smartphone I've had. You can't go wrong with buying one."

"Got this and gave my S3 to my mom and all I can say is this is an amazing device! I am an old school techie so the large size is no problem because i am use to PDA phones. This phone is like a note 10.1 and S3 all in one. The screen is amazing and samsung makes amazing products. I own many samsung devices from phones to tvs and washers. Samsung also never forgets about their older devices. I have a friend with a S2 and he got all the new updates making it like an S3. Way to go samsung keep up the great work you are #1! "This phone has been great. I've had it for a few months now and for the first time since I started buying Android phones in November or 2012 I am not already looking for the next best phone. I love everything about this phone. The screen size took about a week to get used to and no I can NEVER go back! I have never been a fan or manufacturer skins over Android but TouchWiz on this device works seamlessly. I honestly can say that it enhances my Android experience. I can't wait to see what Android 4.2.1 and an updated TouchWiz has to offer. I would absolutely recommend this phone to anyone."

"I have had all the androids possible just to name a few:
Original Droid
Droid X
Droid Razr
Galaxy Nexus

Now the Note II, Wow what a phone. The battery life is awesome. I was ready to go to the Iphone 5, not anymore. The features this phone has and I havent even scratched the surface. This phone is twice the smart phone my Gnex was. Highly recommend, once you get past the size you will appreciate its value. I use to carry an extra battery, charger, note booklet for notes. Once I got this phone I was able to down size what I carry VS. just carrying this phone. So people think my phone is big but dont realize all I used to carry."

"As title states this is the best phone on the market. Although to bad it uses samsungs cpu i wish it had the snapdragon s4 as it outperforms the note 2 cpu. all in all great phone couldnt ask for anymore i paid 768 for the device to keep my unlimited data and no regrets the device speaks for itself im done here..."

"So far, my Note II and my wife's S3 have both operated wonderfully. I owned a Razr Maxx for over 6 months and loved it so, I would also recommend it. BUT, both of the Samsung products top it. Battery lives on both of the Samsungs outperform the Razr Maxx.

I would recommend the Samsungs to anyone."

"I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from this phone, but this phone really is awesome.. The stylus not only is just really nice to have when doing sketches, but I work outside, and being able to use the stylus while wearing gloves was a huge plus. AND THE SCREEN IS HUGE."

"It took me about 2 months to finally pull the trigger on buying the Note 2. As amazing as the device looked, I kept telling myself that it was too big. I had loved my S3 and then spent a brief time with a competitors device that was just too small and had very little in the way of innovation. Yes, that phone. Anyway, I have had my Note 2 for about a week now and I just can't believe how great this device is. First of all, I got over the size issue within hours. It is big and everyone will point that out when they see it, but it is so comfortable in the hand. I don't know how Samsung did it, but they somehow made this huge device feel comfortable in the hand. I am not a big man and do not have big hands, but I can do most everything with one hand and that's without using the "one-handed" functions that are in the settings menu. Those are great, but prefer to not use them.

The features are just amazing. For me it is all the little things that matter the most. Things like the screen staying on while you are reading or staying in portrait when I lay down to read instead of rotating. Things like putting the phone to my ear when texting someone and calling that person without doing anything else.

The camera is awesome just as the one on the S3 is as well. Great pictures in all types of light. The options are endless. The ability to share in what ever way you want to is awesome as well. So many features here that I could not begin to cover them all. Read and watch the Samsung videos. Know that all the things they talk about work amazingly.

The sound coming out of this device is amazing as well. The speaker is so much better than the S3 and the speaker on that phone was good. It great for conference calls and for watching videos. Everyone can hear loud and clear.

Now the S Pen....What a great tool! At first I thought that I would not use it very often. I use it all the time!!! There are so many uses, but my favorites are being able to cut and paste an article or clipping or photo and put it into an email or message or document. I use the S Pen to sign documents for clients. I use it on the web as it is easier to point to links with that than with my finger. I use it make notes on my calendar and my lists. Let's just say it gets more use than I ever thought it would.

I would encourage anyone who is on the fence about this device to go spend a little time with it. It is by far the best smartphone on the market, but it is also so much more than just a smartphone."

"I have never been so fascinated with something right out of the box. This phone is perfect for me. The white color, the firmness of the slick design, the size, the power, just everything about it. I have large hands and this accommodates them perfectly. I have been using it non-stop ever since I received it back in November. It does everything I need a hassle, let's me watch HD movies on the go, and the battery lasts me 2 days! Amazing product. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait for the Note 3!"
