"I purchased my Hue II from eBay to replace a phone I dropped and broke, and I wanted to keep my Alltel prepaid plan even though they've been taken over by Verizon in my area.The display's nice and bright, but a little grainy. I like the built-in camera and the music player, although it was a challenge to get the pictures I took to coexist with my music on the micro SD card I bought. I finally reformatted the card and changed my camera and video defaults to Card Memory before I put my music back on, which seems to have solved that problem. Now, if I can get it to receive a call from my home without a "Your service doesn't allow you to complete this call" message, which I never got on my old phone. I can make calls home but can't receive them. Go figure..."
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

"I o wned the original version of this phone, and lost it, so I replaced it with this one. While there are a few more nicer features on this one, such as being able to use your recorded sounds as a ringtone, I was more disappointed that the battery life isn't as good. Also, this phone just randomly shuts off while typing a long text once and a while."
I would recommend this to a friend!

"I am a fan of folding phones for their compactness when closed, and how they reach from ear to mouth when opened. They also have the advantage over touchscreen phones by having buttons providing a tactile feel, and, always having a ready number pad. If surfing the web is not your primary use for a phone, then this may be the perfect one for you too.
It may seem like a small item, but the #1 selling point for me on this phone is...
A 3.5MM HEADPHONE JACK!! Wow, that's hard to find these days for some reason. But it allows connectivity with almost every component there is; from computers to car stereos, to recorders and more.
Very sleek and futuristic styling with a readable screen. Mediaplayer functions on the front cover are a thoughtful touch. Excellent sound quality from the music player - even through the huge (for a cell phone) speaker on the back. The camera is 2.0mp, and works as expected.
I have read that some people didn't like the hinge, but mine is fine. Bluetooth works flawlessly, without the glitches I had on an LG Volt."

"I own the original HUE and was excited to try out the new model. Truly a much better design over its older brother but, the battery life is very poor. you will be charging this phone daily. Camera is great and software has been updated. A great phone except the battery life."

"After my previous phone, I found this to be disappointing.
-battery life is poor
-poor options for scheduling
-unable to send multiple pictures
-Choosing T9 recquires constant choosing
-using the phone as a modem requires battery useage, cannot charge the same time as using the internet because it is the same port for tethering and charging
-modem kicks you off constantly.
-can not save contacts to disk
-there is more, but then I wouldn't want to scare everyone off.
-mp3 works fine.
-wonder picture taking and options
-video not too bad.
