"First things first, I purchased this phone coming off of a Nexus S running stock Jelly Bean. With that said I just want to say that I really really miss stock Jelly Bean and wish that this phone was running stock Jelly Bean. This phone, the Galaxy S III running that would make it the best phone of the decade without a doubt in my mind.

HOWEVER, I just say that I really love this phone and found it to surpass my expectations as far as performance, display quality, usability, and camera ability. This phone kicks so much butt and can really last all day long, meaning that the battery on this phone is outstanding. Many critics complain about the materials that this phone is made of and I agree that it being made of plastic might be a concern to folks. I was worried about that at first but when you hold it in your hand you feel that it is sturdy and feels solid, however I worry (like anyone else) about dropping it and having it break. Love the LED notification that is subtle but extremely useful.

Going deeper, my favorite feature on the GS3 is the camera. The quality and size of photos that the 8mp camera that the phone comes with are stunning and vibrant. Tons of features and being able to easily get to those features makes it a pleasure to use.

Easily the best phone that I have ever used and cannot be more excited for the continuing evolution of Android."

"The reason I purchased The Samsung Galaxy SIII due to the great reviews. I heard the phone was amazingly fast and ran ICS extremely smooth. I also heard the camera lifted the bar high for future cell phone cameras for quality and features. Now that I have spent a few weeks with the device, I would say the the reviews did not disappoint.

ICS is fantastic on the phone. Transitions are smooth, launches are quick, and the touch screen response is fantastic. It is almost so sensitive that it takes some getting used to if you are coming from resistive-touch screens like I did. I first kept accidentally launching apps because i would touch the screen ever so lightly not thinking it would sense it but it does.

The screen is just brilliant. Colors are amazing and the quality is crisp and clear. The 720x1280 resolution can show details so small that icons and pictures look great no matter what size. The text in a website are easy to read even when zoomed out to a smaller text.

Battery life is decent but as with most/all smart phones, if you are using it heavily through the day then expect to need to charge it by days end. It has yet to run out on me even when I had it on vacation taking pictures, surfing the net and playing games but I am efficient with the power consumption. I turn off data/wifi when I know I don't need constant updates, I run wifi wherever possible, and after I hit about the 30% mark I set the phone to power save mode.

My only complaint regarding the device would be the back battery cover. It is an extremely thin plastic that feels fragile. Especially the way it snaps on and off. I worry that I will break the cover if I take if off too often. But, with the great battery life and the right case, this may be a moot point."

"This is a great phone! Crystal clear screen, takes great pictures even in low light. Very light weight. The screen is bigger than the IPod touch so viewing movings on the go is great!

Battery life is not bad I usually have to recharge every 2 days or so depending on how much usage. This phone was well worth the price.

"this phone is a fantastic phone. seamless integration of android on it and very nice features. the battery power was not understated nor was it overstated. you get what you should get out of it. the display is awesome and compliments the 4.8 inch screen perfectly. the design of the phone is flawless except for the plastic backing. we could of done something a little nicer there samsung ;) besides that it runs great and is a phone you can rely on. ive owned about 6 different androids and hands down samsung has had the best. this and the note 2 are both in my home and ill never turn back to other manufacturers...that is if samsung keeps their game up :) out there"

"I absolutely love this phone. I adore it.
This is super important: I bought this phone for my mom to upgrade from her Galaxy 4g. She has lost all use of one of her arms.. She adores this phone because it is *so* easy for her to use, esp. with the voice commands.
You can do so much from this phone- I have even reviewed resumes for work on the go! The only reason I give it 4 stars on performance is because like every other cell phone in the history of cell phones the battery life tends to get annoying. I have had a Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy S 4g and even the org. Galaxy s1 (for the lack of a better word) and the battery life on this is awesome! However, if you are a heavy netflix user like I am (and I am watching netflix on my 1 hour one way commute every day- so 2 hours AT LEAST a day) make sure you have a charger handy. outside of that.... BUY THIS PHONE! You will NOT regret it.
Oh and the headphones that this comes with? BEST HEADPHONES EVER! I have a friend that uses some high end *cough* made by a musican *cough rapper cough* headphones that she uses for her phone and she keeps bugging me to switch with mine after she borrowed my headset for a call. *nope* she can't have them!"

"The only downfall for me was through T-Mobile. I've been with T-Mobile for 13+ years and they couldn't give me a new phone at a great discount. I paid close too the full price for this phone and it was a huge dent in my wallet but, overall I love Samsung products and their Galaxy S line of phones rock! \m/"

"This is my second Galaxy SIII, and I just love it. The battery of T999 is actually stronger than the international one. But there are just few things I would suggest to customers, 1) the original system is the best 2) be very careful of handling it, because I chipped its corner when I accidentally dropped it on the ground.
But for my further expectation, I would hope Samsung to update T999 soon... And I would hope Samsung to add Chinese language to both system and the keyboard. It's a pain for me not able to use Chinese on Samsung keyboard, because I like every original from Samsung. And I heard that the international one has updated to 4.1.2 or 4.2, I don't remember. I hope that T999 could update soon, too."

"I really like this phone, until now this has been the best Android phone I have owned. I like the design of the phone, the screen size is just perfect and surprisingly for the first time I like TouchWiz Samsung you did a great job on making a lot of the things simple and adding a lot of features to Android. "I got this phone at the beginning of December 2012, and I absolutely love it! My previous phone was a touch screen & full QWERTY keyboard phone, so I was worried about how my transition would be, especially with me being a serial texter. But, I adjusted pretty fast, thanks to the Swype feature (which my previous phone had, but it wasn't as awesome). It's good that the phone lets you program words into your library too. It runs pretty fast, so I no longer have to wait a minute or three to have an app load. LOL. Phone camera is exceptional! I forgot I had a digital camera! I'm still learning some features, but my favorite is how I can call someone simply by holding the phone up to my ear. Saves so much time from scrolling and selecting menus."

"I've had many smart phones but none of them have been as advanced as my GS3. It is great to see that the manufactures didn't follow the other companies. I like that they left the removable battery and SD card. Choosing a favorite feature is difficult because I have more than one favorite feature. I love the screen size, the camera, smart stay, NFC, Tac Tiles, and s voice. But one of the features I enjoy the most is the smart alarm. Great job on this one, Sammy. I'm looking forward to the GS4."

"I've never done a review before so let me just point out the positives and negatives. The positives are the amazing screen, with its huge display and vibrant colors. You can see the screen from almost any angle. The only drawback with the screen is in direct sun its hard to see but that's with any amoled screen. Another positive is the processor and ram combo. With 2 gigs of RAM and a 1.5 GHz processor, this phone really can handle anything you do. I can play a massive online game and switch between tasks with no problem at all. The real reason I bought the GS3 was for the interface, while the styling is somewhat bland, it definitely serves its purpose. Extreamly easy to use as well as all the features they put inside of touch wiz. The smart stay feature works perfectly as well as every other extra Samsung throws in. I love how all the settings are easy to get to in the notification drop down and how they integrated NFC into almost everything. Its easy to share music and pictures just by putting our phones together. Project butter lives up to its name and really helps this phone to its true potential. Some of the things I don't like are the battery for one. I'm a heavy user and while the GS3 battery is better then most, it doesn't quite last me all day and still need my charger. Another thing I don't like is the material the back is made of. It tends to be slick and can slip quite easily out of your hand especially while trying to use with one hand. I would have preferred like a grip texture on the back or even a different more solid material in general. The thin flimsy plastic makes it feel cheap sometimes. Also the camera is quite amazing and all the features Samsung packs into it make it one of the better cameras, HTC to me still makes the best camera sensor. Another thing that I love about Samsung is the amount of accessories that they make available for the phones . the NFC tags and the cases are amazing quality. The NFC tags work great, I have them set up all over my house and even in my car to do numerous different tasks on my phone and works like a charm. Overall I really love my GS3, I was able to make it my own and customize it how I liked to represent me."

"After 10 years+ of being a blackberry user, and consequently waiting for the blackberry ship to sink, I finally could not take it anymore. I had to have an S3. Everyone that had one was ranting and raving about it. I was reluctant, but gave in to hype. Well I am very glad that I did! This has to be the best device I have ever owned phone wise. Sleek, powerful, apps galore, battery life is good, multiple input methods to make us "thumb" people used to our physical qwerty keyboards happy, and the list goes on. Great job Samsung....now bring on the new Tablets...I'm addicted and need one! S4? Yep, I will buy that too!"

"Yes, the phone is a costliest phone for a cheaper value. Being a competitor for iphone 5, i wonder how this can be cheaper than its competitor , but still better than iPhone 5.

I like this phone and love its features.

Pros:
- High definition large screen
- Processor at great speed and to cope up with multi tasking
-Super sensitive screen, hastle free touch
- Gesture based functions are awesome cool
- Weight less and gorgeous loogkwith a hidden majesty
- A large ocean of apps to download
- Camera and its variation modes a big plus
- Ability to connect with other phones, tab, laptop, and smart tv are a greatest positive

Cons:
- A little bigger in size to hold, unable to catch hold of all screen single handle
- Battery is not up to mark, gets empty so sooner, should have been stayed for longer tie for this kind of phone"

"This phone beats the iphone 5 and other top android in many ways. Battery life is better than most android phones out there, the built quality is amazing. The camera is top notch, the best. Samsung also has added a lot of really cool features to the operating system that will make your life easier including on-call equalizers, quick-text reply why you have an incoming call and much more. "What can I say? This phone is just plain awesome because of its sharing features and capabilities, especially the AllShare app designed to wirelessly connect to other Samsung products such as Samsung LED Smart TVs. I always love using the share feature when showing pictures and movies. However, the only downside I found was that you can't rotate a video being displayed on the TV when you are sharing it."

"I was an early adopter of the Android operating system. My first Android phone was terribly underpowered and had a overlay which, while handsome to look at, slowed the phone down even more. I always sensed the potential of the operating system, but still found it unrealized by inferior hardware.

All that changed when I got my GSIII. My expectation have been exceeded by far. Not only does it run a buttery smooth operating system, but the screen is an absolute knockout. I was not expecting to be so wowed by the screen brightness and resolution, but now, many weeks later, I'm still not used to the remarkable display.

There are millions of things I love about this phone, but it is the little things that really stand out. For example - my Outlook tasks integrate perfectly with the task module of Samsung's native calendar. I have multiple email accounts that stay perfectly organized by the native email app. The battery life is amazing, especially considering my use of music and video on the device.

In short, it is hard to imagine a better handset for work and play. There is nothing this phone cannot do. Although, now that I've had it for a little while, all I can think about is a big Galaxy Note! Oh well, that will have to be next."
