"My title says it all for me since the first time I opened the front door and saw the metal shelf. Kinda freaked me out a bit since I thought metal and microwave don't go well together in a firecracker exploding with pretty light kind of way. It is either that or I am not up to snuff on my technology as of late when it comes to appliances. Anyways, It does a great job, its powerful enough for what we need to use it for and hands down it looks great. I suppose that about sums it up for me."

"I've only owned this microwave for a month, but for the short time I've used it all I can say is it's the best microwave I've owned so far. The features, performance and design are very well engineered. Cooks food evenly, and within the time that is recommended to be cooked. "Of all the samsung products in our kitchen this is the one that I personally use the most. The electronic controls are intuitive to use and I am pleased that I have not had to dig out a manual yet. We are both very pleased with both performance and appearance of our Samsung kitchen appliances. We didn't need to buy at this time but were just taken with the appearance of these products and decided we would upgrade the kitchen."

"This has been a excellent purchase. I bought this as part of a kitchen remodel, and the look of it really compliments the modern theme of my new kitchen. It also works great. Cooks food so much better with 1100 watts of power. Sensor cooking works pretty well when I'm heating something it's designed to cook. My only complaint is the blue clock - it's not intelligible beyond 4 to 5 feet from the microwave. In all, I'd buy this microwave again in a hurry."

"I like the microwave it is powerful and lots of features still learning everything it does. I would like to get rattle fixed but only if they come to fix it. To much hassel removing and reinstalling it very heavy.

"This is a beautiful looking unit that appears well built. Only time will tell regarding reliability. The Magnetron has a 10 year warranty, which is a good deal.
The unit replaced a 3 year old GE JVM1750, which suddenly died. It was nice that this Samsung unit perfectly aligned with the rear mounting locations of the old GE (and two of the three top cabinet mountings holes), making the Samsung installation simpler. I did install a set of wood filler blocks recommended by Samsung because the underside of the kitchen cabinet was not flat (i.e., it is recessed about an inch from the cabinet frame). The filler blocks allow the top of the microwave shell to have a solid surface to tighten up against."

"Absolutely love this product. Only problem I had was the serial number. I am petite and partially disabled - the microwave was installed and the private installer did not give me the serial number. I couldn't read it because of it's location inside the microwave. It was too high and too far back to read without using a stool or ladder. Otherwise I love the product and would definitely purchase other Samsung products."

"This microwave stood out from the other microhoods due to it's design. My wife is fairly short and she especially likes the controls along the bottom as that makes for much easier access to the key pad. The curved front was also a design feature that we liked very much. The oven itself is roomy inside and with 1100 watts of power, it cooks/warms very fast. The two tiered cooking rack is nice but I don't know how often we will use it. Any DIY'er with basic skills can install the unit with no trouble. I think it is somewhat overpriced compared to other microhoods with similar features but the looks of this unit made it worth the extra cost to us. I've only had this unit for about 3 weeks and hope it gives us long term service. I also have a counter top Samsung that is 15 or so years old and it works great."

"This OTC (over the range) microwave replaced the one that was over 12 years old so we were expecting about the same thing when it came to plain and simple microwaving. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this heats up much faster AND can detect when items are done so not to overcook them. Who would have thought?!!! The popcorn turns out perfect every time just by selecting the popcorn button. I was shocked at how quickly it defrosted the hamburger meat WITHOUT partially cooking it. I would always defrost things in the refrigerator starting a day or two before for that very reason. Gone are the days of refrigerator defrosting. LOL We NEVER and I mean never cook things like french fries, chicken nuggets etc. for our granddaughter in the microwave because it makes them and most other foods too hard and french fries too soft and taste bad. My husband actually cooked the french fries and the chicken nuggets (separately) and we were shocked to find out how well it cooked the french fries. They actually tasted pretty good. Besides all the wonderful things I love about my microwave I really like the “look” and the display at the bottom. The look of this microwave definitely sets it apart. I took out the metal rack and stored it since we rarely ever use it and it gave us more room height wise. All in all I love my new microwave and have zero regrets about buying it. It made me get on Samsung’s website to see what other wonderful products they make and sell. I WOULD DEFINATELY recommend this to my friends. I even took a picture of it and uploaded it to my Facebook because I was so excited and I’m 46 years old. LOL"

"I absolutely love this microwave! The features are outstanding as well as the performance of the microwave! "Love the features, look and performance. Especially love that while using timer, I can also cook in microwave without disturbing the other preset timer. Love the exhaust strength and interior size of oven. Being able to set low setting on light to come on and off at preset times is a bonus."

"What a great microwave. The features and design fits my needs well. And did I mention the striking appearance. Every item I tried with the sensor cook feature came out perfectly. One thing I wish it had would be a very low level backlight feature for the control buttons.
I must regrettably add though, that the box it came in was in perfect condition, my first unit was literally crushed 2" deep on one corner on top. Lowe's did immediately replaced the unit, but not without a direct implied comment on the condition of the box, which indirectly implied that I damaged the unit myself ( I did not)... But that is a matter between Lowe's and myself.
Again this is a wonderful microwave and am glad that I bought it."

"We read many reviews and decided on this model. The sweeping, sleek design with the controls on the bottom adds a high-end touch to our new stainless kitchen! Can't believe the difference 1100 watts makes in cooking food quickly, evenly. Many convenient features and the blue "info" lights match our other new appliances. The fan (mentioned in other reviews) has three speeds and even at the highest level, was not as loud as the microwave it replaced. Current pricing is highly competitive for the features and style offered. We are very pleased with this purchase."

"When we were considering appliances for our house, we were looking at Samsung. From the design to the function, Samsung seemed to have it all. Although this microwave was about $100 more, the functions and looks were well worth it. When we in installed it, we were happy. Everybody compliments our choice and how this thing looks. When it comes to cooking, it is really awesome when it comes to the sensor cooking. Never over cooks kids snacks, re-heating items, etc. 5 stars in my opinion."

"What I love the most about Samsung is that their design is always on the cutting edge of being different fromt the rest. I love the bottom buttons which looks so updated. The performance has been excelllent. It match great with the french door refrigerator and stove (it has the same design). My kitchen looks completely revamped with these new appliances. Easy operations for children as well."

It is also easy to clean. I would prefer glass over the touch buttons than the plastic. Less danger of scratching and it would be more durable. I do like a Beverage button, but not that big of a deal.

"The final purchase in upgrading to stainless appliances. Cooks great. The sensor feature works wonderfully. I miss a "keep warm" button, but that's a small thing. Husband installed it himself. A great match to the Samsung French door fridge it sits next to. Powerful cooking. I have to laugh, though, at the claim that the fan is "quiet." NOT! It IS powerful, though. And since I don't run it frequently, I'll deal with the noise. Very happy with it so far!"

"Bought this model for over the range. New concept for me. It is large enough for everything I would use it for and then some. I like the stop feature for the bottom round rotating dish.
There isn't a microwave out there to compare it to. The bottom control panel is perfect for me. The overall appearance is beautiful. The only drawback is while using the oven, I turned on the fan and it blew the circuit. Overall it is a wonderful addition to the kitchen renovation with the other Samsung appliances we purchased."

"Thought it was poorly designed at first since the glass dish wobbled when you tried heating something up. There was also a clicking noise. The box came sealed and stapled.
My inlaw noticed that the wheel the dish sat on did not match the one described in the book. So I went back to Lowes and they gave me the correct one from the floor model and thus the microwave works as it should have. So how did that happen? Makes you wonder, did someone switch the wheel and the store resealed and stapled it? Otherwise, I am happy with the unit but having nothing but trouble with the 5 samsung products I just purchased. HOpe it wasn't a mistake."
