"wow. what an awesome phone/tablet/phablet. i don't yet know even half the things i can do with this phone but what i do know i love. the battery is so much better then any phone i have had and it's mostly fast on anything you want to do. there are great how-to's for the phone that really help me to know my phone better and it seems unlimited on storage. it's big but not too big for me and fits well in my shirt pockets. i could go on and on i'm sure but i am not disappointed in the least. i would like to see more detailed instruction on Samsungs website like video how-to's would be excellent."

"There really isn't much to say about this phone because most of it has been said already. It has great battery life, it is the fastest Android phone that I've owned, and it is the most feature rich phone on the market. I only hope that we get to see all the galaxy S4 features ported over to our phone soon!

Also, make sure you set the color pallet to get more realistic colors. Go to settings>Display>Screen Mode> and select Move. The display will then have much more natural colors."

"I love this phone before i got this phone i had the iphone4s. I had nothing but problems with the phone it would drop calls and lose service so when i saw this phone i told my hubby that i was switching to it. "This phone has been the best smart phone Ive had to date. Ive had them all. Blackberry, iOS, Windows Phone and more. This phone does it all for me and does it with style in the process. "After much debate btw the Iphone 5 and Galaxy S3, along comes The Note 2, which blows both of these phones away! "I was previously using a 4" android phone and carrying a tablet, as well. I'm down to one device, and loving it. The funny thing is that when I have the Note 2 out at a bar, invariably, someone comes up and asks what it is.

It is extremely comfortable for reading e-books, email, web browsing, and the like. The stylus is nice, but unless you pick the default Samsung keyboard, it will not automatically switch over to the writing pad if you use it. Not a huge deal, but being that swipe is such a good keyboard, and included with the Note 2, it would be nice if it would behave like the Samsung keyboard app.

All in all, a great device, and should have much better longevity than my Evo 4g, which was really showing its age toward the last 6 mos of my contract."

"I can not be happier with this device. The Note II is everything I wanted in a handheld device. The note II is fast, reliable, and offers so many features, There are new things I discover all the time and love it when I show friends and colleagues and they are amazed and say I never thought! I had the original note and loved it and the second one is even better. The screen is amazing and I never have to worry about seeing things when I am on it. People see my note II and say WOW that is so big, how do you carry that? I have a huge case on it as well and it fits nicely in my pocket, once they try and hold it in their pocket they are amazed as they say it seems like it is so much bigger! "I upgraded my Galaxy S III outside of my contract range just so I could have this phone. I love the screen size, it's awesome for watching videos. I absolutely love the fact that I can answer my phone, stop/snooze my alarm clock, and take photos just by speaking! I love the alarm clock option that allows me to title my alarm and it actually say it. The S pen is great. I don't think I can find a negative thing to say about this phone. I have yet to come across anything I didn't like/love about it! This is THE best phone out there"

"Was a little worried when I bought this phone that it would be too big. However, I find it very comfortable to use and it fits in the pocket of my dress pants easily. (Would strongly recommend getting the Samsung official flip cover/case which really protects the screen.) This phone is not only big, it is incredibly fast. I have it filled to the rim with apps and data and it still moves at an incredible pace without a hint of lag. I would strongly recommend this phone to anyone and especially to power users of android"

"This device is simply fantastic, great screen, great CPU, great features. My favorite Android device I've owned to date. It never lags, plays any game I throw at it without a hiccup The camera is fast and takes FANTASTIC pictures. The sound, both phone and media, is clear and loud. The reception, both CDMA and Wifi are great and consistent. (Still waiting on LTE in Philadelphia, can't say yet.) The screen is amazing, video looks great, movies on Netflix are a real treat! I was worried about the size at first, but after a few days I can't even tell, feels like a normal phone size in my hand. Don't let it intimidate you. ;-) And I never, ever have to worry babout battery again. All day long, heavy use, still plenty for when I get home too."

"I love my Galaxy Note II! I get great reception, far better than any phone I have ever owned. The battery really lasts a long time. Most days, I still have 35 - 40% left on my battery after texting, calling and working on the internet much of the day. I definitely recommend this phone, if you can live with the size! Unfortunately, my Otterbox holster case survived only a few weeks before the clip broke!

"All of my former iPhone friends now know why Android is the best and they are fortunate to have joined Android with the best device yet. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is now the standard and any other phone is "too small"."

"My Galaxy Note 2 is by far the most powerful android device I've ever owned. When you open your video player and ALL the movies in your collection are playing simultaneously, well, that's impressive. Another interesting this about this phone is voice recognition. Every other phone I've had has had issues with understanding my vocal commands. This phone gets them 98% right.

Buy this phone. You will NOT be disappointed. The size shouldn't be an issue; you'll enjoy viewing web pages, reading books, and watching movies with this gorgeous screen."

"This phone is a piece of art. Everything about this phone suits my needs, including the speed, memory, screen size, battery capacity, and ease of use.

Speed: This phone is blazing fast. I never have to wait for anything processor-related and the only restrictions are app and carrier related.

Memory: This this has way more memory than my Evo 4G or Evo 3D did. I can multitask like a king without worrying about hiccups or crashes. Fantastic!

Screen: This screen is HUGE and I love it! Big enough to function like a tablet but small enough to let me make calls without feeling awkward. Not to mention, Gorilla Glass 2.0 is a wonderful addition. I don't have to worry about scratching my phone unless I'm being careless... much better than my previous phones and their screen scratching mishaps.

Battery capacity: I'm loving this gigantic battery. I figured the battery would be larger than normal because of the increased specs, but Samsung definitely went above and beyond to improve the user experience here. My phone will stay charged for 2 days at a time easily, even with heavy use. This part in particular makes all of my friends jealous!

Ease of use: When I first turned on this phone, I had absolutely no difficulty using the device to its full functionality. Not only were the typical Android options available (which made my transition from previous Android versions easy), but TouchWiz was a piece of cake to navigate. Additionally, I honestly expected the S-Pen applications to be mediocre at best because of previous experiences with stylus software from other companies, but I was pleasantly surprised at how intuitive and easy to use everything is. Fantastic job, guys!

The only con I've encountered is the slippery back cover on the phone. It's simply too smooth and easily slips from my grasp when I'm not holding the device with both hands. Thankfully, I obtained an orange flip cover which both made the phone easier to hold and made my phone look even sexier!"

"In the past 6 years I had gone through more than 15 phones. Not one lasted a full year until I found the Galaxy Note. The new Note II is even better.
Everyone talks about the big screen. Coming from the Note to the Note II it wasn't a big deal to me but I do enjoy even that little extra real estate. I tried a 7" tablet for my daily device and it's too big to use as a phone but this form factor is nearly perfect. It's still thin and light and feels great in your hand.
The original Note was my favorite phone until I got this one. It is so fast that I haven't experienced any lags. The new battery always gets through my whole day no matter what I am up to. The new S Pen is even more comfortable to use and has even more great features than before. I love writing on the back of my photos. How cool is that?"

"I was leary about getting a phone that was almost twice the screen size of my previous Galaxy I. But after using this phone for over two months now, I can only say I wish I had gotten this one sooner. The Galaxy Note II is without a doubt the best phone I've had to date. The size takes a little getting used to at first, but that happens rather quickly. Sound quality on phone calls is clear and clean. Battery life is amazing for having such a big screen and a fast quad-core processor. I can easily go 14 hours of use and still have about 30% battery remaining, and that's running a lot of different apps! Speaking of performance, the color and clarity of the AMOLED screen is amazing and the touch sensitivity is just right. It does not require a heavy touch to get results. Throwing the scribe pen in is just another great bonus. With the pen you can hand-write notes and they don't look like blobs of words. Navigating around the screens and programs with the pen is a breeze. Samsung hit a home-run with this phablet!! I can't believe anyone could be dissatisfied with this smart phone."

"this is the first Samsung device i have owned and it is fantastic. i love the big screen and its resolution is fantastic. the phone is super fast and the multi-view is awesome, but i wish i could add whatever apps i want to it. i love using the s-pen, i had phones with stylus before but this is so much better and useful in so many forms. i also really like all the voice capabilities, s voice is OK but i hate that due to patent stuff if wont automatically search the web, but i know that isnt samsungs fault. the other functions with music and call answering is great."

"I got tired of carrying around my Nexus 7 and phone. This phone is the perfect size. Now I just carry my phone around and leave the tablet at home.

It is a little awkward talking on the phone (not too bad though) but let's be honest. I spend way more time using my phone for touch than for voice.

"This is the best phone I have owned. I love the larger screen and stylus. I can take a pic, and mark it up, and then email it. After using this phone, any other phone, and especially the iphone 5 screen seems so small that it is difficult to see and work on. A couple of iphone users said they want to change to this phone. Iphone users also say the phone is too big without actually using it. The size is actually the right size and not big at all. The iphone is just too small. The only complaints about the Note 2 is that the power button location makes it easy to push by accident while pushing the volume keys on the exact opposite side. Also, the phone could be a bit faster. However, I have not had any problems with the phone getting stuck or freezing."

"so far, I love this device. After owning a couple of android products (phones/tablets) from a variety of manufacturers, I must say that i have received some of the best customer service and quality control from Samsung. Other product issues (like screen bleed, faulty hardware, etc) are non-existent with the gn2. I love the size. There may be a little too many features for some people, but after a while, you learn how to use them. I would recommend the note 2 over (nearly) all other android phones available."

"I have always been a fanatic about having a physical keyboard, but when I realized there were no great phones on the market with keyboards, I decided the next best thing would be a nice big screen.

The Quad core processor was definitely the biggest factor in deciding to get the Note II. This phone operates so fast and so smoothly, I can hardly believe it. I absolutely love this phone. I don't use the stylus very often, but it is a pretty neat feature to have.

Since I've gotten this phone, I find that I don't use my ipad nearly as often as I used to."

"I love my Note 2. I was afraid that the phone would be too big; however, I adapted quickly and no longer see the phone as huge. "I had the galaxy s 2 prior to getting the note 2 and this phone blows all others out of the water. Between the multi-tasking to the size of the screen it really is a mini tablet rolled up into a phone. If you have been thinging of getting one, stop thinging and just go get it, you wont be disappointed."

"this phone is definitely a conversation piece in public.
i love the multi-window where you can run two apps at the same time. really needs to me more compatible apps with that though. I have convinced at least three people to get this phone over the S3."

"The screen is larger than most phones. It's easy to set up and navigate. Lots of APPS. Samsung provides wonderful support for anything you need. The camera takes beautiful pictures. It's easy to sync the phone to the computer. I can use it to type papers and research for school. Videos are great too. It's lightweight and slim design make it easy to keep nearby. I use earphones and speakerphone so very rarely do I hold the phone to my ear so the fact that it's a little larger than other phones has no consequence to me."

"I've had my Note II for about 2 months now and I can't say I've found anything I don't like about it. It does well at everything I've used it for and there are lots of things I still have yet to explore. Overall, I rate this a solid 5 starts and have had several friends purchase based on my assessment of the device. I'm careful not to take it out around some iPhone owners as they swipe it and become jealous and are hard to retrieve it from! :D"

"This phone is chock full of features, probably the best phone I've ever owned by far. Could be a little more customizable, and have come with a memory card for the purchase price but all in all very nice product I am impressed with Samsung"

"My past two phones have been HTC so going with Samsung was difficult at first because of my loyalty to HTC, after getting the Galaxy Note 2 and trying it out for three days I am really impressed with it, the speed, design and sheer size are all amazing not to mention the clarity of the amoled screen."

"The features on this phone fit me and my wifes needs perfectly. Being able to take notes for appointments while still on the phone with the person is the best feature. Then being able to S Beam appointments to each other keeps us both on time and able to schedule our days more efficiently."
