"I have had the Note 2 for 3 weeks and I am totally satisfied with the performance and ease of use, so far. The speed from the quad-core processor is phenominal and makes the programs and apps on the phone a joy to use. I have still not even scratched the surface of all that the S-pen app can do, but what I have done, is amazingly easy and so much fun. I have a tablet as well, but I have found that using my "phablet" has almost made using my tablet obsolete. More to come later."

"After the iPhone, it is a pleasure to be able to read text on the screen. I don't find the phone large or awkward at all, and I do hold it up to my ear to make a call. Now when I look at an iPhone, it looks like it belongs on a keychain.

The S-Pen is a nice bonus, it makes several apps easier to use."

"Overall, the design and performance of the phone is amazing. The screen is crisp and bright, it is powerful enough to handle any task thrown at it and the battery life is great. The only issue I have is the service. I've read online that Samsung has some of the worst radios in their phones and now I'm a believer. I rarely get service inside of buildings and the phone drops calls constantly."

"I am going to keep my review short and sweet. If you are afraid of a phone that you can actually read your texts, email and webpages comfortably this phone is not for you. If carrying a device that allows you to see detail on the characters in the game Angry Birds this phone is not for you. If you are really into the FRUIT phones because you were TOLD it was the best this phone actually is for you because you will see it destroys all comers with a laundry list of features, an incredible beautiful screen and great battery life. "As I use the phone, each day I am amazed at how much I continue to love it, and I am not even using all the features yet. It does everything I want. The multi-tasking, switching from email to web for example, is flawless. It allows me to get things done quickly and efficiently. Taking photos with a verbal command improves my images. "I had originally wanted the original galaxy note but due to my financial situation I was unable to purchase one well I am glad to say I got a job and the first thing I purchased was the new Samsung Galaxy Note II. The large screen, stylus and the amazing picture and video quality were amazing. i can keep up with my social media and be productive by answering emails on the go. To put it plainly I love this phone and I am looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy Note III. I hope it has an even larger screen to me that is the best feature. I say buy this phone it won't disappoint!"

"Just when I was about to give up and ADD a tablet to my collection of gadgets... Samsung blew me away with the Galaxy Note II!! "Honestly this phone is near perfect. It's very fast, has some great software optimizations built in, and is designed very chic. I love that its battery is class leading and the screen seems to not steal away too much power.

Because the phone is near perfect, assume I have only great things to say, and here are the only negatives I can think of, if they even are.

The S-pen is cool, but I seldom use it.
The screen is a little sensitive, causing me to make some typos if i'm not careful.
The pentile arrangement they chose over saturates the blues a little more than other galaxy devices.
The sprint versionI have, has the ports for wireless charging covered.
The hdmi dongle and allshare media hub don't work as seamlessly as I'd like.
Wireless Optimization app (system app) turns on or off some radios as it chooses, I don't like this because when I turn WIFI off, it should stay off, same with NFC.
The screen is 1280x720 while other flagships are 1920x1080."

"This is by far the best phone I've ever used. Fast, great screen, excellent features like the stylus, multi-tasking, and camera. I have yet to encounter a scenario I where my phone fails to do what I need it to do. I absolutely love the size - now when I use my wife's tiny Samsung Galaxy S3 (lol), I definitely feel cramped. "I honestly don't have one complaint about my phone. I got it a couple months ago and am still in love with it! My battery life is amazing! The graphics are beautiful! My phone hardly ever lags, and when it does, I just simply restart it and its back to normal! "When people comment about why my phone is so big, I ask them why is their phone so small? Then they say, "Hey, your're right! So, where can I get me a Note 2?"

With the right business software installed on the Note 2, and apps that are much quicker, cleaner looking, and easier to use than Windows apps, I am finding that I am using and lugging around my laptop less and less every day. I am also using my S-pen apps to take notes, take pictures and my own notes/markings on whiteboard drawings, make to-do lists, and then send them as emails to my colleagues while we are still in the meeting.

Good-bye to bulky notepads, leaky pens, dull pencils---all replaced by the Note 2. iPod, Nano for music? No no. Sounds and looks a lot nicer on my Note 2, even better wirelessly with my Beatbox.

I also would like to thank Sprint customer service for standing behind this product. My original Note 2 would not stay connected to WiFi.(bad radio) Tried everything listed online to no avail. Went to my Sprint corporate store (not agent), replicated the problem for them in the store, and had a new (not refurbed) unit on my doorstep the next day. New unit was a bit testy when trying to connect to Sprint data. However, their techs used some of the secret service codes to get it working. Since then, everything works 100%."

"I've had the Note 2 now for about 3 months. Overall I think its a great product. Quad core processor has not let me down when it comes to processing speeds. Video quality is excellent. Touchwiz took a little bit to get useto, but is otherwise fine. One thing I dont like is that I cannot change the recommended apps when a headset is plugged in. "I love this phone. Everything is lightning fast, the screen is huge and vibrant, and everywhere I go, people ask me about it. I always get at least a day out of the battery, even with pretty high usage on the brightest screen setting. I can only imagine how long I could get with reserved settings. This is a few months into my ownership. My biggest issue with the phone, probably my only issue, is how fragile and weak the phone feels in my hand. For the high price tag, I expect a phone that feels like its there. Lightweight is a nice feature, but I would like a bit of heft. It feels incredibly fragile, and as I've learned, the screen is. Although its survived a few drops, the sheer size of the phone makes it susceptible to stress fractures when in your pocket. If you're spending the kind of money that this phone deserves, spend a few extra bucks and put a strong case on it."

"The size is going to be subjective for everyone. For me, I decided to try a large phone and see how I liked it. Viewing the web, using maps, watching a video, this phone is incredible for doing anything where a larger screen is beneficial. Personally I love it. tons of features, a fast quad core processor, the latest android software. And so far it all appears to work flawlessly.

Again, the only thing decisive about it is going to be the size, you'll either love it or hate it.. for me its a winner.

I don't use the s-pen much... I appreciate that Samsung is trying new things, they may not all be hits but I like the effort and the fact that you have the option to use things like the s-pen, NFC, an sd-card slot and would rather have them and not use them as opposed to not have them and need them."

"So many really useful features. Display quality is great. I was amazed at the battery life for all the use I get out of it. Never fails to go all day. Love that I can make calendar entries and set alarms with voice commands. Would recommend it to anyone."

Big and Amazing...

"Make no mistake, this is a big phone. I do believe people will find it to be quite manageable, though. Despite the talk about being a two-handed phone, a lot of people will be able to do many functions with one hand. It has so many options across the board that it will take a while to figure out everything the phone can do.
The camera is excellent and has a lot of options for the settings. Video can be recorded in 1080p HD and in stereo. The screen resolution can show 720p HD and looks stunning.
The S Pen stylus offers a lot of functions and you will enjoy learning all that it does and will do. It is fun to use for the most basic functions up to true multitasking where you can literally have two different apps going in a split screen
It is one of the best phones available today and with all of the features, truly unexpected battery life (even though it is 3100mAh, impressive audio and visuals, you will love it!

I would highly recommend this Galaxy Note II to everyone... And make sure that you get a case for it too!"

"My new Samsung Galaxy Note II never ceases to amaze me on nearly a daily basis. My beloved phablet has become my side kick and new best friend. With lightning speed I can download books from the library or web pages from the internet. It matters not if I am home or on the go. You see, my phablet can help me take care of business anywhere I am. Dependable? You bet! I use my phablet for lots of things from keeping a grocery list to adjusting my makeup before I enter an office. The camera takes clear, sharp, focused pictures, making my stand alone camera obsolete. Speaking of obsolete, my Note II is almost making my desktop computer obsolete, as I can do nearly 90% of my tasks on my Note II, that I can do on my desktop. My Note II gets nearly constant use yet requires little charging to get me through my days. Most times I connect the charger for an hour and a half every other day. Charging the battery is quick and easy so I NEVER leave it charging overnight. The battery is heavy duty and well made so there is no need for apps or devices to extend battery life.
One of the best parts about my Note II is the support team at Samsung. Help is always available and they are even on Facebook and Twitter. The Samsung website is easy to navigate and there are lots of tips for getting the most and best use of your phone. User manuals are online and are also very easily navigated. Still have a question about something? The Samsung user community is there to help too!
On a side note, I think I would be remiss if I did not mention that my better half has a Samsung Galaxy S III. When I thought about getting a new phone I was torn between getting an S III or the Note II. So my better half said, "Get the Note II. If you don't like it, I'll switch with you." From the moment I got my Note II I was smitten. Me switch?? Never!"

"This phone is impeccable inside and out. There is a reason this phone is on back order at many different retailers. The screen is fantastic, the colors are rich, the processor is fast... need I go on? If you are considering this phone and it's on back order, IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! I was contemplating the Galaxy S III or the Note II, and am SO glad I went with the Note II. So what are you waiting for? Make it a great day and make the purchase."

"the galaxy note to is the best smartphone I had so far don't get me wrong I had the galaxy GS 3 and Phone was great what I do a little bit more surfing than talking on the phone at first I thought they the note 2 was too big but actually when you have it in your hand it's not big at all..you get to you get used to it relatively quick when I held the galaxy s3 it seems small after using the note. 2 I was 1 of the biggest critic for the Galaxy Note 2 until I gave it a chance now I love it just try for yourself you won't regret it"

"I does everything I want it to do and then so much more. I've got to were I hardly use my Kindle Fire anymore because my phone does all it does. Love the great size of the display. So far the battery usage has been fine. I worried with a phone this size that it would suck the battery quickly. It hasn't so far. I highly recommend this phone to everyone."

"i am an htc guy (prior to the note 2) the last samsung phone i had was the instinct(sorry phone) but i decided to give this a try mainly for the size and the pin. the only thing i dont like is that you cant put apps on sd card and that you cant load desktop site automatically. other than that this phone is awesome. im probably going to stick with samsung just because of their work on this phone"
