"Great quality and performance for a small TV. 1080p and 10k contrast ration in a 22inch screen is great. Very happy with quality in TV viewing and with computer HDMI connection use. Only flaw for me is no audio output connections no RCA's or digital output connections."

"when it came to play my movies and video games it did not disappointed me at all the picture is incredible. For video games and movie I did not see any blurs or other anomaly. I was very worry cause this HDTV is not cheap. I strongly recommend it to buy oh the sound is excellent as well"

"This television is a very great one! I wanted it mostly for PS3 game play and I am very satisfied with the performance! The screen is great, the sound is great, and it was unbelievably simple to hook up. Someone complained about the base stand being wobbly, but its not at all if you screw it in correctly. o_O Mine doesn't wobble at all when you touch it. My boyfriend had to screw the screws in before actually attaching the base to get it started and then he screwed the base in and it was perfect! No problems at all! Thanks Samsung!"

"This is a great little TV. I purchased it for our bedroom on my experience of my 46 inch Samsung LED TV. It lives up to its Samsung reputation in every way but sound. I know the size of the set limits on the size of speaker that can be built in it, but couldn't you have accomodated an audio out option so some small speakers could be used to supplement the sound? This obviously was not a deal killer but it would have been so nice to have had all my hopes met by this wonderful little TV and its nice price point."

"My monitor went out the other day, and instead of buying another one, I invested in this product. So happy that I did. The picture quality is amazing, and the biggest selling point for me was having built in speakers. Easy setup to my computer, and the HD quality is Amazing. I def would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase an HD tv to use with their pc or laptop."

"Had to replace an old CRT TV. After reading reviews, decided on this Samsung TV. HD, LED, lightweight (own another TV that weighs around 90lbs & this TV weighs around 7-8lbs).
Some reviews complain about the built-in speakers. I think they sound fine.
Picture quality isn't excellent, but it's better than my old CRT. Then again, I have it hooked up to a digital converter box. I've read picture quality would be better with an actual cable box."

"Considering the price I am saticfied with my purchase and have had good luck up until this past week. I am having issues turning it on and it is becoming a frustrating problem although the past 9 months were trouble free. Picture is very nice and color is rich. I like it. The determining factor now will be the service I recieve. I am hoping they will simply send me a new monitor and have me send the problem monitor back in the box that the replacement comes in. I will follow up with a report on the service I receive from Samsung Service. Almost all of my electronic items are Samsung, my large TV, my Notebook Computer, my PC Monitors for Desktop PC use, my Blu-ray AV Receiver, my Cell Phones, my DSLR Camera (mirrorless), my Laser Printer, my Refrigerator and I am looking at a Samsung Washer/Dryer set so I have been very pleased with Samsung products going back to my first Samsung Notebook back in 98 and I have had very good service with the items. But I am not a fan of repair guys coming out to the house for items that should just be exchanged with a new or refurb unit to minimize the downtime I have to face considering this is a direct impact on my ability to earn a living, so time is a MAJOR FACTOR. We will see what happens and I will update this revue."

"Very sharp picture, pulls in stations fine (I use rabbit ears), is lightweight, but not unsteady. Yes, the sound is a bit tinny, but then it is not for watching the Metropolitan Opera on anyway. And, being so thin, difficult to get high end speakers in such a case anyway. I don't have other speakers connected to it.
Being 1080 and 120 Hz is a great selling point.
Without the remote, the controls are almost impossible to find, since they are light gray on a black background. And no buttons; you simply move your finger over the area.
The remote was a bit confusing at first, but the manual explained everything I needed. Set up was a snap, and no manual was needed for that. Setting favorites was less then ideal, but still all right.
I have it in the kitchen to watch while I am preparing and eating my meals. Fits perfectly on the cart."

"I was very pleased with how my 22" Class (21.5" Diag.) LED 5003 Series TV worked, right out of the box. Hooking and setting up was a breeze. All of the controls are placed logically for easy adjusting, if you should be so inclined. (Not necessary, for default settings were just fine.) The only thing I could say negative about this item, is the lack of audio outputs, in order to attach to a better sound system. But for the price paid and ease of use, I am quite satisfied with my purchase."

"This is my first HDTV, and most of my friends said for me to get a Samsung because of the picture quality. But, this particular model is more for kids bedrooms and computer monitors. The remote it came with wasn't as good as the higher end remotes from Samsung, but it got the job done. The menu system was outdated compared to the 5000 series, and Game mode did not work. The picture quality is pretty good, but I felt they could have done better. The touch sensitive buttons are a neat idea, but I would rather have the regular buttons instead because of how much I move it around till I'm happy. The lag is what made me take this back, it's not much, but it makes the difference when you can't play right. I tried Game Mode and it made no difference what so-ever. I don't know if it's just my TV, but I didn't want to risk it, so I took it back. This is my first TV from Samsung, and I'm not really overall pleased. I think they need to keep making LCD panels again, because it might make the difference to gamers, like myself. Sound was OK, but I really wanted to use my speakers on it, but sadly no headphone jack. DO NOT TURN EDGE ENHANCEMENT ON! It looks like complete trash if you do! Overall, this TV is really good for watching television, but I wouldn't recommend this to one of my hardcore gamer friends."

"We were tired of having our kids watch Netflix movies on one of our laptops while we were eating or sitting down at the table; so we went into purchasing 2 TVs.
It fits perfectly on the top shelf of the book case. The display is sharp as expected from a 1080p TV; we use it with Apple TV for wireless link into the web.
Only complaint is that the TV remote will not control the Samsung Blue Ray player or viceversa, I am so used to have Sony's control to let you at least turn on/off, and volume; I think Samsung should at least let you control this basic controls accross all TVs and DVD/BD players."

"This is a smaller television. That's great for a dorm room, a kitchen, or an office, but I would not recommend it for a very large room. The design is modern and attractive and the picture is very good. However, in a well lit or lowly lit room the backlight has to be turned up fairly to see the picture well."

"This is a replacement TV as secondary monitor/TV. I saw a review on AVS on the D5000 series, and was glad to see this in the store. However, I did not realized Target carried the 5003 model which had some features removed like PIP and audio jack input. It was about the $10 different. Ugg.
Secondary computer monitor works great. Label the HDMI 1 as DVI/PC and you will get full 1920x1080.
Sound is good for a TV of this size. It might be weak for some people, but in a small room, it should be sufficient.
Picture -> Computer Monitor. You will need to adjust the color from your computer. Once you do, it is good.
Picture -> HDTV.
1. Don't expect standard TV to look decent due to lack of good upscale engine. For the price, this is good. Even some of Samsung top of the line LED TV 3D is not good in upscaling.
2. HDTV. HD TV source is very good except for sports and fast action. I gathered this is 60hz and the 120 CLR is a bit misleading.
Some broadcast HDTV color is a bit 'plastic' and I can't seem to set the setting correctly. It may be source (NBC) not TV.
Have not test on BD yet.
Setup. Very easy.
Remote. Not bad.
Problems.
1. Stand is too weak and it will wobble if you gently touch the tv or the desk, like putting a book down. It is bad enough that I may want to find an old Vesa stand or one from 5000 series.
2. Audio in. I can't get audio in while in DVI/PC mode if the HDMI source doesn't have audio. Using 3.5mm to RCA won't work with the audio in on the back, which most have been limit to composite inputs.
It would be nice to watch movie or listen to music from the TV while connected to your computer if your HDMI output doesn't support sound.
Hopefully, Samsung can address this in next firmware update to allow audio in while in DVI/PC mode if the HDMI signal doesn't have audio unless there is a setting that I missed.
USB Picture slide show is good.
USB movie playing is good for most movie. I have some problem with a few that played well under VLC.
Overall. Not a bad little TV. There are some design issue like the wobble that could be a problem few months later."

"If you don't want to use a surround sound amplifier to get better sound and you are aware of the stand being marginal (kind of tippy), and don't try and use the antenna input on the back this may be a great monitor and you should go for it.
If you want to use it as a TV you might want to be advised of some shortcomings. The unit is kind of tippy when using the factory stand. The light overall weight and factory stand allow unit to move around and tip over on the screen. The antenna input faces directly out the rear and its placement, the units light weight, and marginal stand will let the coax from an antenna or cable box move or tip the unit if trying to place close to wall.
The remote and tuner were great, the feature set was real good, the sound was marginal but no worse than other TV's in this size range, kind of like a computer monitor.
If you are going to use a wall mount, a 90 degree adapter for the antenna in , and are not picky about sound this might be an excellent choice to watch TV and look good with other LED and LCD computer monitors on your desk. I had mine setting with a Samsung 1920 LCD monitor and another manufactures 24" LED monitor and it looked really cool. Picture was great, much brighter than the LCD Samsung. Fell over twice in the four days I used it because of the coax cable pushing it around. The second time was fatal. To expensive to repair and don't really need it but will probably get another one to replace it soon. The wall mount and antenna adapters arrived one day to late to save this otherwise excellent unit."
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, great remote
Cons: lightweight, poor sound, antenna hook up, stand, no sound outputs

"sleep timer is a hassel-go to tools-go to sleep timer- set the time , almost all other tvs have a timer button and you are done. the control panel on the tv frame is useless nor does it light up . you rub your finger over it but you dont know what you are touching. plug and play is not so user friendly."

"Most places advertise this TV as 120hz, which I have just found out, is false information. It very easy to tell the different between the two, and in my opinion 120hz looks alot smoother and life-like. The difference between 60hz and 120 CMR? I couldn't tell you, they look the same. Besides that, I use it as a computer monitor and the picture looks brilliant. As for the design, it's impossible to know what button your pushing in the dark (I have to rub a 2 inch area to turn it off)."

"mostly disappointed that I had to use seperate remotes for my Samsung bluray player because it was not Anynet capable. No ToC made it less attractive in appearance. Same price as the model I intended to buy in the 1st place (5000). This would have been a good buy for $75 less perhaps, but I would have went for the more expensime model anyhow due to the performance and appearance difference. Contrast ratio was lacking. Probably would compare well with other brands but not what I have came to expect from Samsung. This does not compare with the other 4 Samsung tv's and pc monitors I use in my home."

"This television was a good value for the money, however I was very disappointed in the limited view angles for this television. Unless your sitting directly in front of the television the picture clarity is lost. Similar to looking at the screen of an older computer monitor - the picture almost looks like a "negative" if you are viewing slightly off center from either a side or top angle. The loss of picture clarity is enough that I have thought about returning the tv... This makes the fifth Samsung television I have purchased (four for our household and one for another family member) and this is the first one I have been disappointed in."

"I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, because I’m such a Samsung fan, but I have to do it. I am utterly disappointed with my recent purchase, the UN22D5003 BFXZA Samsung LED TV.
I currently also have an 18 month old Samsung 40” LCD TV that I absolutely LOVE. The color & picture clarity are spot on – I’ve even had people remark to me how great my picture is. This is why it was a no brainer when it came time to purchase a second TV.
When I first received the UN22D TV, the color was OFF – overly saturated with yellows & purples, but not consistently, and not on every channel. Even with tweaking different color & picture settings several times over, nothing helped. At this point, being a Samsung brand, I was sure I had received a rare ‘lemon’, and returned the original to the retailer for a new UN22D. To my utter surprise & disappointment, the replaced TV was no different than the 1st.
Now, the only route available to me is that I need to get service. Honestly, this TV doesn’t need repairing, it needs to be a different TV all together. Even if servicing would help, which I'm convinced it can't, I resent having to service a product that I just bought.
I'm really not happy with this TV at all - I would NOT recommend it."

"It looks good and certainly appeared to have value until I plugged it in and heard the sound. Speakers sound like my laptop. I'll take it back for a refund. Is having built in speakers supposed to be a plus. Every TV I've owned in 50 years has had built in speakers. Doh"
