"I got this TV for my daughter's room and the 32 size is perfect for her small bedroom. She's a college kid that loves having the internet on the TV, loves the apps, watches many features on the Smart Hub including Netflix and Amazon Instant -(that I still don't have on my 2 year old Samsung Smart tv- that still irks me). Anyways she's a fitness girl and loves the fitness center app. She likes using ALL SHARE and can connect to our network and PC's in the house. The TV is lightweight and has nice picture quality. We bought her a Samsung Sound-bar as the sound by itself is not adequate. Overall we are all very pleased. I hope this TV is upgradable in the future with Samsung's new upgrade unit."

"This is the 2nd Samsung TV I have purchased in the past few years. The 32-inch screen is just right in our "computer" room. Streaming from the computer works great. My only complaint is that the owners manual doesn't provide enough information on this topic. The best thing to do is to go to the Samsung website and do a search for Allshare software. There are also videos online to take you through the steps needed to get it working. Now that it's all set, I can view photos from my camera, stream mp3 music, or watch videos from the computer easily. The color is great and the detail (1080p) is super."

"This is the smallest HDTV I've purchased. This Samsung TV was purchased to replace a '27 CRT TV that was acting up. This size matched the same screen height as the TV it was replacing.

I had no problems setting this up, and connecting it to my network. I still haven't used all the TV's, "Smart" features, however, so far I am happy with all it can do. The Netflix works fine, some of the free applications I've used also work fine for free web video content (Mostly news.).

The picture quality is nice. It took maybe 45 minutes for me to tweak the settings to how I liked them. Each input has it's own unique settings.

The TV was packaged well, it was no problem to unpack, put together, and get running.

1080 is nice.

The built-in speakers are fine for what I am using this TV for.

I only have a few gripes;

- No paper manual. The manual built into the TV is nice, such as if there were an actual manual, and it was misplaced, and you just wanted information quickly about a setting. However, using it as the main manual was time consuming. I was familiar with most of the settings, however a few I had to read a bit more about. The E-manual Samsung provides as a PDF on their website is decent, but it's not nice to browse through, as it's in large print, and 600 or so pages.

- The Firmware would not update through the internet. I forget what it was telling me, either that it could not connect, or no update was there. I have encountered this before with router firmware updates, etc, so, I decided to look for myself on Samsung.com to see if anything was there. There was a recent firmware update. I downloaded it, loaded it onto a USB flash drive, plugged that into the TV, followed the update instructions, it updated, I think the TV "rebooted" itself, and that was it.

So far, I'm happy. The Smart TV stuff is nice, though using the browser and youtube is a bit cumbersome unless you plug in a wireless keyboard and/or mouse. Then again, I feel if you're looking to browse the internet on a TV anyway, you might as well hook up a PC to the TV and browse at a decent speed.

I Didn't want the 6000 or 3D tv because I don't watch 3D bluray movies mostly, so I am happy with this. If your a PC gamer or use the TV as a Monitor like I do the 5300 series is a good one. I am using a computer with win7 64bit,a nvidia 560ti geforce 2gigs of Video memory, a cables to go hdmi cable connected directly to the tv from the computer(no dvi to hdmi adapter) and I don't see any lag or problems playing games(unless the game itself has problems source Engine games, battlefield 3, call of duty) I use media player classic with my own settings ( adjust k-lite settings to your needs) and there is a big difference of the video quality of my movies.

The 3 hdmi connections is a must for fans that use tv as a hd cable box, bluray player, and pc monitor. Most new tvs don't have DVI or VGA inputs to connect your PC to the tv. Also most 2012 tvs only have 2 hdmi connections that is already in use by a cable box and bluray player. Since the only way to connect to new video cards is through a dvi or hdmi connection we need all the hdmi ports we can get."

"A problem with an otherwise excellent product line is the lack of a single remote to control multiple devices. The TV remote should be able to fully control the Blue-ray player for example, not only would this simplify the operation but would be an excellent marketing tool enticing a TV owner to buy other Samsung products. A separate combination remote control could be offered. A variable external speaker output that would control volume would be a very welcome addition, my previous TV had such an output. This output would also enhance the operation of your own external speakers."

"I have had my 5300 set for 4 months now, and I have read most of the reviews on the internet. I can only agree with the ones that love the set... Mine must have been made on a Wednesday or Thursday because it is perfect. Everything, all the bells and whistles work great. I connected a keyboard and mouse and have no problem doing so..If it had been made on a Monday or Friday something would have gone wrong already(lol). I can't say enough good things about this tv... My next purchase is going to be an 8000 model.. Lets see if I have good luck with it..."

"If you have one of those old entertainment centers, you know how hard it is to fit a new LED or LCD TV in the opening. Most of the time you have to settle on a 26" set, but this Samsung is just right. The opening measured 32.6" and this set comes in at 32.1". So, not only did it allow us to get a 32" screen TV, we also get the added benefit of being able to stream pictures, video and music from our computer, via a wireless connection.

"I bought this TV for my Grandson for Xmas 2012. As there are a few more days to go until Xmas, I set the TV up so that it would be ready to go when he opens the box. The setup was simple and only took a few minutes.

When it came out of the box, the factory settings were too bright. I have three more large Samsungs so adjusting the color, tent, and backlight on this one was easy as I was already familiar with changing the settings.

It is wireless and was easy to bring up on the router to receive Netflix.....just follow the prompts. The TV has a nice picture...absolutely "lifelike". I couldn't ask for better.

Here comes the Con: The browser is absolutely worthless but I knew this when I bought the TV. You have to use the arrows on the remote to select a letter and then click it to enter it into the address bar on the browser......one letter at a time. Click,,,,,look for a letter...click....look for another letter....click.... and so on. It takes all day to enter a URL. That being said, it is a pretty nice little TV. My Grandson has a laptop so use of the browser doesn't really matter all that much."

Cons: samsung needs to do a lot of work on the browser.

"This was my first "SmartTV" purchase. I had originally thought it would take me all day to setup all the features. Unbelievably I had it up and running with online content within 20 minutes after unboxing. I connected to my home wifi, logged into a couple IP TV services and started watching shows. The picture is great even on the "Standard" setting and tuning it to movies or other settings just makes it better. I'm really impressed!"

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

"One month with this LED and I can tell it really is smart!
The different options and the accuracy with which it adapts on the lightning of the environment is awesome.
A little bit slow with the apps, but if you don't use it as your primary PC, don't bother!
Great sound for a small TV and the surround feels like it has 5.1 in it..."

"First off let me say that I think this is a great tv. It linked right up with my wireless and I got the apps up and running quickly. I had to power cycle my modem and router for netflix to connect, but no biggie. I think the picture is great. It's the same size as my old tv, but seems to "feel" smaller...? It's a bit tedious to navigate through the apps...I've read that a wireless keyboard will only work with browsing, not sure. I was a bit disappointed that I need a camera for video calls on skype. I guess I assumed it had like a web cam like a laptop or something. Oh well, I eventually will. I'm going to try my wireless mouse in it tonight to see if that makes things easier. I do like the tv very much, just a few points I wanted to make!"

Cons: apps a bit clunky

"Is a good TV set. It connects to DLNA servers at home (miniDLNA, XBMC) without a hitch.
More and better apps will be good. Some of the apps are just bait and others have little to no functionality. Currently using ... none."

no ARC to talk to Samsung soundbar?

"Just bought the hw-e350 soundbar and thought I could connect the tv to it with just one hdmi cable and use the the tv's other input to connect my tivo and blu-ray. Can't get the arc on the soundbar to work with the tv and support says the tv does not have it. Given this is a high end set for this size screen and it has anynet/cec, you would expect the arc to work too. So I have to use a min-stereo jack cable to connect them and lose sending the digital surround audio to the soundbar."

"This is the smart tv available in best price range for its class. Picture quality is great. Watching netflix is excellent (Some times faced TV restart issue but it was due to internet speed hick-up at the same time and i observed it on my laptop also). May be next firmware upgrade will be able to handle this scenario. Watching movies via USB drive is amazing experience. When connected to laptop via HDMI even 360P videos looks amazing from 4feet or greater distance. Better than 4000 series 720p resolution tv. Highly recommended as it is full defination tv with high quality of color and contrast ratio. Lots of picture customization options are available depending upon whats you connection cable is like HDMI, AV/RCA or co-axial cable. VUDU HDX video formats on this TV looks exceptionally great but difference between netflix and VUDU HDX format is not much noticable in this 32 inch small screen. Over all i am happy with my decision and product i got in this price range. tried 3 different TV's of samsung before finalizing this one. TV was launched early in 2012 where as it came on samsung website in month of June 2012. Best advantage of this TV is you dont need the computer in order to decide which movie you want to watch on your smart TV as it has lots of apps where you can search and watch the movies specially if you are a big fan of netflix, VUDU etc apps. Speakers sound is also great and can be used without external speakers to fill the medium size room."

"This TV is average and not smart. It is true the setup is easy. However, web access is very cumbersome without a mouse and keyboard. The manual indicates USB keyboards and mice may not be compatible and does not indicate which ones are. The Samsung website indicates their devices are partially compatible for this model. Another major disadvantage is there are not methods to enter channel information or rename digital channels to aid viewing."

"I have the 55" D8000 model and love it. When replacing the bedroom tv I wanted the same Smart TV features and thought that Smart Tv qualifications were across the board, but I was wrong. I wanted HBO Go and since it was an app on my 55, I figured it would be on the 32. I am hoping that they will add this feature but am disappointed that I could have bought a cheaper Tv and added a roku box. I wonder what else I will find out thats different?"

"first, i don't like e manuals but that is only a personal thing and companies don't provide an actual manual with their products.
i cannot figure out how to use the remote as a keyboard. e manual is of no help. there is not a compatible keyboard from samsung that they can recommend that goes with this product. updates are very hard to do since i believe i have to download from my computer to a usb drive. i tried and failed. i would not recommend this product. this tv is not user friendly."
