"Some minor installation glitches with cable provider, but these were easily resolved. Very satisfied with reception and options, some which we haven't taken full advantage of at the present time. Easy to connect Blue Ray Player to, nice interaction. So far nothing but happy with the product."

"My family is really enjoying this new TV. The images are very sharp, the colors are brilliant, the Smart Hub makes it easy to use the numerous features and apps available. We purchase a Samsung Blue Ray Home Theater at the same time and it works together with the TV very nicely. I got this size because it fits into my entertainment center just right. I bought this particular brand and model because I did lots of research beforehand and this had the features I decided were "must haves" at a very favorable price."

"For the price the 40" 6000 is an excellent TV. It will take time to adjust the picture for brightness and contrast. The biggest issue is the slow refresh rate the causes the flicker affect of old computers when paying a video. The auto-motion does help but still misses on fast moving scenes."

"I am compelled to write a review because I am discovering something new with my TV everyday. Its been a week since I brought the TV . The color , sound and effects are very good and pleasing. The TV has plenty of ports and accepts almost all external devices eg HDMI , USB , Composite , S-Video, USB-HDD. It is Internet ready and though it does not have wireless, I can always plug my LAN cable and enjoy the SMART TV features. The TV is very slim and there is a fine red border which gives it a classy look.
Cons: The only thing I noticed was when all the lights are switched off and there is a dark scene in a movie, small black patches appears on the top of the screen close to the border. hardly noticeable , but its there"

"I have been looking at this unit for a really long time. Once I started setting up my home theater, I was hesitant to go with the 40" model because of the american philosophy that bigger is better, but so far I haven't regretted it. In fact, after making adjustments, the picture quality is better than any of my friends' TV's. Let's just say the boys come over to my place to watch the game instead of their own homes. If you want to make people jealous then this is your TV. The ease of syncing Samsung products together is a dream."

"I really did my research on this one -- I always do when I make a big investment on something that I plan on keeping for a long time -- and I am not disappointed!!! LED TVs now are arguably considered the best class of HDTVs (including LCD and Plasma, along with all of their variants). I carefully checked out all the competitors in many different stores and feel that this particular model is really the best in its class. Considering all things - quality of picture, pricing, features, there was no better value for the money. The picture is amazing, the color is great, the image is vibrant and clear.

The built in speakers provide a sound that is very decent, although I plan to add speakers soon for a full sound system. Lots of ports make this an easy add-on. This TV is super slim, it is a truly beautiful TV.

I was out of the box and set up in no time at all. The easy menus and setup prompts made sure of this. The Samsung apps are a pretty neat feature, just a bonus though. They work great and just complete a great package. I am so happy I picked the Samsung Smart TV!"

"I compared this TV to many other LED TV's in this size and price range. Samsung was the clear winner. Not only is the picture quality amazing on HD and regular broadcasts it is a revelation seeing classic 50's-60's B&W shows with such depth and clarity that was not apparent on older tube TV's. This TV is very thin, light weight and more energy-efficient than other types of TV's currently available. The built-in speakers sound very good and have 10 Watts more power than most other brands and more than even Samsung's more expensive models. Easy set up with no problems."

"So I might be the last person to swap over to a flat-panel television. This set is paper thin, crystal clear and wifi capable! The unit was easy to set-up and wonderfully simple. I bought the wifi device after-market from a notable specialty electronics company for a great price and was surprised at how easily that set-up as well. The "SMART" software is a little slow to start and respond, but the capabilities and apps are awesome. Just think how great it is to stream movies, shows, music and checking your social media all with your TV. It would definitely be better with a mouse and keyboard, but I'm pretty sure I could link those up with the USB ports in the back. The base is heavy enough to keep this big screen steady on a TV stand. Overall, it's awesome and I'll keep it as long as it'll last."

"After a small screen malfunction, we notified samsung of the issues and they prompty scheduled the repairs for the unit. The repairs were completed and the tv is great.
I could not ask for better service or a better tv."
