"Had this TV for 9 months now.. Super happy with it. Great 3D graphics and the Smart Hub features simply make this TV amazing and a great value. The only thing that I was dissappointed with, is the fact that they removed the Skype application support from it. I still don't know why... this was one of the top 3 reasons why I bought it. By the time I got around to buy my camera, the application was gone and no longer supported. :-( truly dissappointing.. Nevertheless, the TV is amazing."

"Bought this at the same time I bought a plasma (for a basement man cave). At 46 inches, this TV competes because the screen is just spectacular. It's set up on a wall in our family room that gets tons of natural daylight and it literally shines through.
Just added the Screen Dreams App - aquariums, art and photography all hanging on my wall when not using set. Awesome!

Our previous TV had been connected to a built in sound system and chose not to do it for this set up - after watching for a week or so my wife could not believe that the sound was NOT coming from the imbedded speakers."

"I'm completely blown away by this TV! My wife and I had agonized over whether to purchase this, and I can't say enough good things about it. We bought this as a replacement for a 6 year old plasma, and the difference in picture quality is night and day. We didn't know what we were missing out on until we plugged this tv in and started watching.
The 3D mode is awesome too! I've been playing compatible games on my PS3, and it's a whole lot of fun. Just don't play for too long, your eyes will go wonky..."

"Can't comment on longevity yet as I have only owned it for about a month, but so far awesome design and picture. I think the complaining I have heard on the built-in speakers on this TV is rediculous, they are adequate for a 1 1/2-2" thin TV. I thought the speakers worked pretty well all things considered. Dislike there is no browser when connected to Internet and the remote also controls two 25.5" LCD monitors I have in same room on a computer(pretty annoying when you turnoff/turnon and all do the same). But hopefully the smart tv will be improved with updates in the future."

"My hubby bought this for me for xmas. I love the picture quality. But some of the fetures you are paying for in the price of this TV may not be worth it to you. If you don't subscribe to Net flix ETC well some of those aps could be useless to you. all most all are to me. But it looked like it had a better picture then the one that was the same but without the apps. Not sure why so I bought it anyway even thou it could have been the store settings."

"The picture on this TV is absolutely Gorgeous. The picture on Samsung is best in the business. Only had it four days and have been extremely happy with this purchase. I have three Samsung TV's, 3D Blu-ray player and laptop. Always satisfied with Samsung. 3D worked very well. Bought a 3D Blu-ray of the ocean and it looked good and gave a lot of depth. Played a couple playstation 3 games in 3D and they looked really good. Have had experience with powered 3D glasses messing with my eyes or giving me a headache on other models. With this Samsung that has not been an issue. Watched about 2 hours of 3D and it did not mess with my eyes or give me a headache at all. Again, the picture is incredible."

"I just replaced my 55" Plasma Samsung that fried a PCB and let me tell you, this thing is crazy beautiful. My wife is deaf in one ear due to a brain tumor so I attached the Samsung 550 sound bar and she has no problems hearing the tv now. In-fact when I had football on the new neighbors called the cops because they thought my wife and I were fighting. The cops showed up and told them it was the game. I had them call over the neighbors so they would know we were ok people and not fighting and now we are talking about having Sunday football and my house.. How the heck did that happen? Anyway great tv, easy install/ I just took the brackets off of the old tv and installed them on the back of this one and hung it in the same place and plugged in the same home theatre cables and we are good to go. Although I don't know 'bout Sunday..."

Cons: so smell a-vision. you can almost smell the grass

"THis was so sexy when I pulled it out of the box, I wasn't so sure what I was lookinG at! it is unbelievably thin.. (I'm coming from a vizio).. so forgive me for being over enthused about this TV. THe TV is extremely bright and yes, i noticed the bleeding of light around the edges on blank screens. Not noticeable when watching an actual movie. 3D gaming and movies! i can't go back. ISSUES: The TV seems to act like an "OLD PC" at times. Specially when watching NETFLIX. I ALSO GET THE "BLINKING EFFECT" means the tv screen goes blank in and out in different intervals. sometimes just once. sometimes 2-3 times sometimes none. TWO times it crashed on me and turned off completely. and restarted. "MUCH like a blue screen" I have done some research and still can't find a solution. THIS BLINKING ISSUES ARE REALL SAMSUNG/NETFLIX! please listen to the people in the forums. You can download the remote control application in the app store from APPLE for your iPhone, so that you can type things on the TV without having to purchase the very expensive keyboard remote samsung offers. Issue is, the keyboard in the APP does not work with the youtube application. so typing and searching for a video is painful using the arrow keys.
its nice that I can plug in a hard rive directly to the TV and watch movie files from there. despite the issues.. i still love this tv. and man oh man! its pretty."

"When I saw a 2010 Samsung 3D set at my brother's, I was in awe of the picture quality, so I had to have one. When Best Buy had it on sale as a bundle with 2 3D glasses and BD Player, I bought it. And I haven't looked back since. Lovely images, 3D is easy to set up, and once I tweaked the audio settings, the built-in audio is fine for most watching. It is so thin, and has lots of connection options. The built-in apps are cool, especially Pandora radio, among others. Love this set...."

"Purchased at Best Buy,was nicely surprised to find out the "package" came with 2 pair of 3D glasses and a Blu-Ray 3D DVD. My wife thought it looked like a giant laptop because of the super slim cabinet.So far I am VERY!! impressed with the picture quality. It's almost like 3D even in standard picture mode.I have only watched a couple of 3D shows,but so far it's amazing!!.I do wish it had a better web browser,because I refuse to join Facebook,Twitter ETC. But maybe in some future APP Samsung may offer a common web browser."

"I recently purchased this television because my house was broken into, and along with other things the robbers stole, was my 46" Sony Bravia LED, 240MHz, 3D ready tv. Let me tell you, the difference is astounding. The color is much more rich than that of the sony. Also, the color seems to be a lot deeper. The black is deeper, thus creating an overall better image. I would recommend this tv to anyone wanting the sony, but would rather save a few hundred bucks....just sayin."

"This TV is of excellent quality. Others have mentioned its picture quality, etc, and I certainly agree it is excellent. For this review, I would like to concentrate on the picture-in-picture function. I am an NFL and college football nut, and it is vital that I be able to watch two games at once. My old analog TV stopped working. It had great picture-in-picture ability, but I had a very hard time finding a digital TV that had a side-by-side picture-in-picture. Well, thankfully, this one does! To save you hours of searching which feeds are capable of being the main feed and which are capable of being the sub-picture, let me explain how the picture-in-picture works on this TV. The main picture has to be what is referred to as an "external source" meaning Component, HDMI or PC. The sub-picture must be the TV input which is the coaxial input. The TV input can be from an antenna which the digital tuner can be used to change the channels or an RF input from a source like a DirecTV receiver. You will not be able to get AV1 or AV2 composite to work as either the main feed or sub-picture in the PIP mode. The way I set mine up was to send an HDMI signal from an HD source as the main feed, and I ran a coaxial cable down through the wall to this TV from another DirecTV receiver that I had upstairs. That picture is the sub-picture. You can make the sound come from either picture, and you can get two equal side-by-side pictures which are plenty large enough to see well. You can also put the sub-picture in a smaller window and choose which corner of the main feed you want the sub-picture to show up. Hope this helps!"

"This TV was the easy to set up. The internet conection only took about five min, and over all the whole setup time was less than half an hour. The picture as a lot better than my old Samsung 40" LCD."

"I love this TV. I actually was looking at another Samsung and bought this one without realizing I picked a different one, and getting even more than expected. I am delighted. The quality is simply outstanding. It was actually very easy to use. You need just a tad of patience setting it up. I still have a few questions, but I know if I need any help that the company will help answer anything that is necessary. Pretty much I just have to check out and finish setting up the thises and thats!"

"In short, this is a great Television that fills up a room with a clear picture that is real to life clear. The only shortcomings that this Television has is its inability to push sound. This set needs a better built in sound/speaker system to enable it to push sound within a room that enables clear viewing from as far as 60 feet away. Beyond that, this is a great Television.

A back-up that we currently use is the CC feature so that we don't miss too much of the dialogue."
