"I had to upgrade from a Samsung plasma that I bought 7 years ago and had no problems at all with it. So far it is all good, so many options and apps :))...I had a little bit of problem with pairing the remote but beside that it is all fine.
I like the picture, the size the light etc.
The browser is slow and I don't think I can use it"

"The picture is perfect. It's clear and sharp and we truly enjoy watching all our movies in 3D. Yes, the 3D upconversion works very well and there is not a thing negative I can say about it. Simply put, we love this TV. We use the wireless connection to our router, and we watch HBO Go and Netflix without any lag at all. The Smarthub is nice, although I still haven't had time to use it much. We use the ARC (Audio Return Channel) to pipe the sound back to our receiver and from there to our ceiling speakers. That's a very nice feature!"

"surprisingly the sound is great, others say they needed a sound bar, with my un60d7000 i wouldnt agree. im still tweaking with stuff but overall the picture is very nice, id have to say the only complaint i would have is that you cant hook up a external hard drive larger than 2tb, and it doesnt recongnize blu ray copys/files on the hard drive apparently, but i think thats all tv's."

"I've had this about 25 days now and every time I see it I'm blown away. And that's before I switch it on!
At the start I had issues with the picture hesitating. Once I realized where the problem was, I then made a plan of action. First was dumping Directv and going with Verizon FIOS. I'm not sure what it is with Directv, but before switching it off, I could switch between FIOS and Directv inputs (both HDMI) and actually see a difference. Bottome line, Directv is horrible!
Second was getting into the MENU and adjusting a proper picture. Sadly, Samsung does not include proper documentation in the box. Yeah I can find it online, Yeah I can get it on the screen, but still for the money spent..."

"The tv is a big "WOW". I bought this tv for the super bowl and recieved a "GREAT PRICE" for it. Oh yeah I was offered a bundle pack that included a 3D blu-ray player and also 2 3D glasses. This 60" tv has great colors and not to bad 3D view. I have a 48" samsung tv for 3 years and I LOVE IT."

"I have had DLP's , Visio tv's, but NONE compare to this Samsung TV. The 3D is fantastic. The HD picture is awesome. I could not believe the quality of the picture. The setup is quite daunting - I just purchased a WOW Dinsey CD to fine tune my picture - BUT its the best pciture I have ever had."

"Love the design and the overall performance. Had some issues with framerate stuttering that tech support couldn't help with. After tearing through product reviews and AVS forums, finally found out it was "film mode" that was causing the problems. Certain TV programs don't play well with this feature turned on, so I leave it off. Since I figured this out, I've been loving the TV."

"We bought SAMSUNG 60” LED back-lit TV in the middle of January 2012.
SAMSUNG has shown that it can build better TVs, better DVD players, better Laser Printers than most other companies. I may soon buy SAMSUNG Mobile phones also.
Pros:
The picture quality on the TV is unbelievably awesome, crystal clear, great colour, great resolution and depth. The 3D pictures are out of this world. You need to buy SSG-3050GB
3D glasses to get 3D effect on this TV.
The internet connection on this TV is wireless and easy to connect. We could go online to all web sites, like our Computer, on this 60” TV. You may also skype, with an addition of SAMSUNG Internet Camera.
Cons:
If SAMSUNG could build such a great form of art, they could also have manufactured a convenient keyboard.
Need to use a home theatre 7.1 System to get the best performance out of this TV.
Request:
Will SAMSUNG make a convenient separate keyboard to use along with this TV?"

"The quality of the picture on this tv is (in my opinion) superior to that of its competitors. Other brands may state similar specifications, and cost less but they do not come close to the color resolution and sharpness of this model and the Samsung brand. The Smart Hub is a great feature that requires very little effort to get up and running. I reccomend Samsung to all of my friends - the additional 10-20% cost over some other brands is definitely worth it."

"I've only had my new 60" Smart TV for about 3 weeks but it clearly makes a difference in our TV viewing. Everything is so sharp and clear it's almost like being there. "Upgraded from a 52' LCD Samsung that is still going strong, love the 3D feature, which was a low buying priority, smart functions are easy to use, contrast ratio is fantastic, very easy setup and I like the sleek borderless design. 240Hz refresh makes a big difference, I was going to just add a 47 inch LED, 3D for the bedroom but decided the 60' for the living room was a better fit with all the bells and whistles and very happy with the decision, 2D HD is fantastic for sports and built in WIFI will come in handy. TV is well worth the price"

"I have been a lifelong, loyal $%&* customer, until I experienced this set from Samsung. The television is literally 1" thin and the picture is incredible. While it is a 3D television (with glasses), watching the set in normal mode is akin to watching a live play unfolding in front of you. The image quality and detail is the best I have ever experienced. Couple this with on-board WI-Fi and you are only limited by your imagination. Since purchasing this set, I have purchased two (2) more Samsung's, a 40" LED and a 32" LED. I am now a lifelong, loyal Samsung customer."

"This picture is amazing. I purchased both a Samsung and a Sony home theater to test it with at home, and the Samsung home theater gave a much better picture. The 2D-3D up-convert gives depth to all my old DVDs as well, including black and white shows from the 40s/50s. Wife talked me into a 60" and I couldn't be happier (do the math (area=length x width), 60” is 23% larger than a 55")
Super crisp, depth, colors - it's like seeing all my movies over again for the first time.
I bought 3 movies with 3D to try, and I was not impressed. The 3D works okay, but it is hardly worth the hassle of wearing the funky glasses (I do plan to buy "Avatar" when it comes out in 3D to give it a last try). You get a few moments of good 3D, but the Blu-ray is just about as good without glasses.
Overall this is an excellent TV that I would recommend to anyone."

"I am overwhelmed with the features on this TV!! I have enjoyed playing/learning about it as much as I have watching it. The picture, LED, is without a doubt, the best I have ever seen and my room has an extreme amount of sunlight coming in...does not affect it. I am extremely pleased with my new TV and am really glad I went with the 60 inch...it Does make a difference!!"

"I noticed the 7000 series LED TVs a few months ago while looking at another brand at a home-theater store. Of several dozen high-end sets there wasn't anything close to the picture in the same price range.

The picture quality looks great for all viewing:
- Sports are very crisp, especially noticeable while watching fast-paced action like basketball and hockey. ESPN 3D is also pretty interesting.
- Movies look like you're watching them being filmed in front of you. Some animated films look 3D even on cable.
- Games have never looked so smooth (possibly the CMR 720?)
- With the backlighting, very vivid colors, brightest whites, pure blacks.

While the picture is the best thing about this television, it is loaded with any features you could want, and the app store gives you comfort that the web-based services won't become obsolete.

The Qwerty remote is also included, which will control your other Samsung products intelligently (vs selecting TV or AV Receiver on a traditional universal remote), provided they support Anynet+. Additionally, network based remotes are supported, such as Android/iOS apps.

Aesthetics come down to personal preference, but it's hard not to like the looks of this TV. The clear bezel is very thin, although there is a black ribbon inside of that framing the picture.

I compared the 7000 series and 8000 series side by side and there were no distinguishable differences in picture quality, although the 8000 series boasts a higher contrast and ClearMotion rate. This could have been tied to the settings on the settings; I spent a few hours getting the settings "just right." I do think that this set is a huge jump over the 6000 series.

Finish your research, compare brands and models, and mull the decision, but you can't go wrong with this one!"

"A great picture with no visible motion blur when watching fast action movies and sports, the only draw back would be the E-manual, it’s hard to use. You need to open the manual and than try to remember what you read to make any changes. Downloaded the manual from the Samsung support site but it has a black back round so it would be impracticable to try and print out."

"this tv has a great picture
but it came with no manual i had to learn most of it's features on my own, once i got pass my learning curb with the remote i really have been enjoying this product... it has an e-manual button on the remote but i found it hard to find a quick help when i used it the first few times...there should be a quick start manual in the box...my only beef...I like the product :)"
