What's with the battery life?

I have to recharge this phone at least once a day, sometimes twice. What's wrong with the battery?

If I don't want to answer a call, is there a button I can push to ignore it rather than let it ring until voicemail answers?

How to end the t9 auto-default torture?

So far I am very pleased with my new t-259, but for some reason I can not discover how to disable the annoyance of t9 auto-complete and set the default message text to standard English (I am over 16 years old). Even when I manually set the default to 'ABC' standard English, it always defaults to that annoying t9 auto-complete. I then have to go in and re-set the setting manually each time I want to create or reply to a text message. This is completely unacceptable, and no other phone or device I have used suffered from this terrible oversight. Can someone please discover and post a way to permanently disable t9 for the t259, and/or set the default to standard English? Many Thanks in Advance!

My samsung Captivate wont go past the Galaxy S screen and it keeps repeating the start up process but won't start up, how do I fix this?

I recently updated to the new 2.3 Gingerbread, after this it wouldn't work at all. I'm not willing under any circumstances to lose any data, I've never had a problem like this before, I would do a factory reset but I don't want to lose any data.
