You can turn on the SGH-T209 phone by doing the steps below.

1. Open the phone.
2. Press and hold the power on key until the phone switches on.
3. If the phone asks you to enter the phone password, enter the password and press the OK soft key or the key. The password is preset to “00000000” at the factory.
4. If the phone asks for a PIN, enter the PIN and press the OK soft key or the key. The phone searches for your network and after finding it, the Idle screen appears. Now, you can make or receive calls.

The Widget bar provides quick access to mini-programs (widgets). This bar (located at the left of the Idle screen) gives you information at a glance and provides easy access to frequently used tools. You can easily customize the Widget bar by keeping the widgets docked within the bar itself or by dragging them anywhere onto your Idle screen.

To select which items are displayed or hidden within the Widget bar:
1. From Idle mode, open the Widget bar and touch the Widget Manager icon.
2. Touch the check box to place a check mark next to the Widget you want to display.

Touch the check box again to remove the check mark and hide the Widget.
